Very informative! You covered all the points that I was going to ask questions about. When I get my hands on one of these Logitech wheels, I'm gonna do something like this too. Great video!
Absolutely fantastic Video! Your Videos are full of information! You seem very knowledgeable and your videos are very each to follow along with... Plus you have a great voice for these "how to" or "DIY" videos, you are very easy to listen too and I don't find myself getting bored which happens a lot while watching TH-cam videos (sleeping with my eyes open kinda of thing! 😂) Great great though video really enjoyed it! Keep up the great work! ☺️
Great info as usual👌you're full of bright ideas! This is so easy to follow and very well paced. I love your little warnings and tips after you've obviously found out the hard way yourself😉Thanks so much for sharing, looking forward to your next one already 😊
This video was awesome, thank you for how in-depth and informative you got with it. Even including the STL for the adapter. The 920's FFB strength at 100% with the included wheel feels way too strong for me, so it was the first thing I adjusted. Getting to use more of the FFB sounds like a bonus to me, even if it makes the wheel not last as long. Part of the main reason I don't use the 920 now is that the wheel is uncomfortably small. Definitely going to use this guide when I get my new wheel and adapter.
@@kristinakristiniete7738 The G920 itself I've owned for quite a few years, these types of modifications tend to wear more on the internal motor of the G920, as this allows the install of heavier/larger wheels. With occasional use, my G920 has lasted me 4 or 5 years already. I'm sure that even with a modification like this the longevity would be at least as long, that is, 4-5 years.
Thanks for your very informative and useful video. Do you know if i would be able to use the Thrustmaster Ferrari 250 GTO wooden steering wheel rim with the G29? Most of ny favourite cars are from the era of wooden steering wheels, especially the 1959 Jaguar Mk2, and I'd love to have that added dinension to the immersion. Thanks.
I finished the entire tutorial, realised i had 1 missing motherboard screw left and spent 20 minutes realising that theres two screws holding in the xbox button
Hey man i’m having some trouble here because the abxy and dpad all work fine but the lsb rsb, menu, window button and xbox button are constantly being pressed down

hey, what exactly do you mean by saying “not lasting long”? 1-2 years?

Please can you make a video where you show us how to install a hand break on the g29/g920 ??
do you have to plug buttons back up if you don't want to?
Yes, its a part of the motherboard. Unless you just want holes in the wheel you have to Keep Them attached.
