I had lunch at Bofnger 8 days ago, and the choucroute de la mer was exquisite. The sweetness of the cabbage with the right amount of vinegar fermentation took a common dish to a new level. We spent 72 Euro for a party of two

Bonjour Alain, yes more Restaurants! We really like Bofinger, its beautiful, the food is good, and it is AIR CONDITIONED. So far the Flammkuchen and the Lobster Ravioli are the best things we've had, the Alsatian Sauerkrauts dishes are good but massive.
Watching the video my wife gasped in surprise and said, "It's not called Bow-finger...?"🤣
Well, Bofinger being a name that you find today predominantly in Germany, maybe bow-finger should be the correct pronunciation. But as we are in Paris, I will always pronounce it the French way 😀

I have had the experience of dining at this restaurant several times when I lived in Paris over 30 years ago. It is a wonderful brasserie.

I was there last time in 2015, The service was impeccable, food was excellent. Missed their Choucroute very much.

Has been superbe since my first visit there in 1967 but later after living down in the Nièvre still superbe in 2010! And a de or to enjoy and luxuriate in,!,!

One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Been many times but still can not order any main course other than the choucroute, probably the best in the world. If you are not aware, the great novelist Alan Furst fictionalizes the name to Heininger instead of Bofinger, but his many descriptions of it during WWII are both very loving and appreciative, and remain dead accurate because as best I can tell it hasn't changed since at least the 1940s.

Volontiers, d autres vidéos gourmandes. Je pensais aussi à des charcuteries/fromageries pour manger un truc sur le pouce à midi, genre, du bon pain croustillant avec de la bonne cochonaille du terroir, un bon fromage. Mmmh.
