We went to Paris for 48 hours to try as many food places as we could possibly fit in. We made sure to avoid the tourist traps and venture away from the spots that everyone goes to. I was undecided on the city before this trip, but now I can’t wait to go back and try more of their sensational food.

Finally, someone made Paris fun! Hehe! I like Paris, but I prefer Marseille. The 1st day of summer, Marseille was unbelievable! People were very friendly, and a lot of people approached me with English, when they heard me speak French with an American accent.

Changed my view on Paris, the mrs was talking about going at some point but I've always thought it was ridiculously expensive, the prices you said were decent though! Apart from that €11 pint though!
Yeah it was right by the Louvre. Walk 20 mins in any direction from a landmark and you’ll get a cheap place

If you've started to love Kurdish cuisine, go to Matina in St Nick's Market in Bristol, best lunch in the whole city. Seamus O'Donnell's pub nearby lets you take food from the market to have with a pint. Loved this video!

My passion for French food started in 75 as a teenager visited many more times. Made France my home in 2003, got a job in a fromagerie till retirement. Steadily got fatter, ha ha.

I was there last weekend, my first food spot was the same market, but had a burger, which was fucking beautiful - they made their own bread on site ❤

You really should have more subscribers. You find good food, and you have a down to earth style. And, I agree, Paris is a really difficult city to find food meeting the expectations. The city is big, and hyped. I am not saying there is not good food there. French food is good. But finding it...

I live in Paris for over 20 years and the secret is to navigate a little. Good news is that this "navigation skill" is not a very advanced one to get and once you get it- people tend to really like Paris
The first time I went to France I was cajoled into being the mug that had to nip into the nearest shop and buy six packets of Samson baccy because I'd got the highest grade at O level. The woman in the shop asked me if I was frigging German! The absolute temerity!
