Great recipe as always. I will give it a try tonight for dinner. But can I say you have a great greengrocer's. Your vegetables always look outstanding.
Chetna, I tried this yesterday and wanted to drop by and thank you for amazing dish! It was an absolute delight, and the aromas....woah! Also, I added 1 tbsp of chilli powder instead of 1 tsp :D but totally didn't mind since you had yogurt in the recipe + kashmiri chilli powder is chill. thanks again for introducing me to this goodness
The sauce alone could go with *so many other veg* it makes me excited to try it! *Question:* Does the sauce freeze well, or should I just make it in batches? (Looking to try this with many other types of veg options.)
Thanks Chetna😜😜🙏 I think I will cook this today for Sunday roast!!! Although I will use my milder green chillies. Lovely curry. Lots love Colin from Reading👑👑👑🍷🍸
This looks fabulous❗ Am I grinding the cinnamon stick piece as well? That seems like it would be hard to do. I just bought a fresh bag of dried red chili peppers. I'm ready to make this deliciousness❗😃
Thanks Chetna. It looks gorgeous! 1 Question here tho'. While you're boiling the potatoes. Didn't you add salt to the water? I saw you added some to the yoghurt but I wonder if they're not gonna end up lacking saltiness within.
Oh my goodness ... I could smell those spices, and adding ginger/garlic to frying onions is one of my favourite smells! I'm definitely trying this, as I already know I need to eat this with buttery parathay!
I’m keen to try this, but when I have cooked with coriander seeds in the past I found them to be hard and woody, which makes me reluctant to try them again!
Love your recipe’s and I try to follow them 100% but I live in Thailand now and some ingredients are difficult to find, I’m gradually building my spice collection
I love how clear your explanations are and how well you demonstrate every step of a recipe. Continue
I wish you had a restaurant Chetna, I’d be there every week 🥰🥰🥰
Not anytime soon
Who doesn't like potatoes. Beautiful curry. Thanks Chetna🙏🤗
I love all the whole spices you use. Yum!
Me too!!
I will definitely try this. I already love your other potato curry with yoghurt.
What a delicious way to serve up potatoes! 🤗
Oh yes!
Oh wow! Looks fantastic!!!
Delicious recipe. I will try it today
I am definitely going to use this gravy for other things as well! 😋❗
You are keeping it so real! Lovely! Great recipe
Thank you so much 😊

Looks amazing ! I use a similar flavour profile for aloo dum, even though it's not traditional.
love hearing the voice of your child!!
The dish looks absolutely amazing! 👍🧡
Thank you 😋
Really interesting recipe. Those fried taters are what my mum used to call cheat roast taters 😉 that sauce though! I'm trying this.
Love myself a Desiree potato 👍🏼💕 - 😋🙏🏼
Love your persona , voice and recipes of course..
The sauce alone could go with *so many other veg* it makes me excited to try it!

The recipe looks scrumptious. But aap namak dalna bhul gaye kya?
Thank you, can you use coconut milk instead of yogurt?
My shop sells coconut yogurt...
What kind of potatoes? Thanks 🙏
You look gorgeous in red Chetna! Also, great recipe, as always :)
Thank you so much 😊

It will go well with phulka
Pl make the paneer butter masala
Wow, that looks sensational. Does the seeds cause the spiciness? Please let me know.
Yes it does
@@FoodwithChetna ok, sounds good😃
I’m keen to try this, but when I have cooked with coriander seeds in the past I found them to be hard and woody, which makes me reluctant to try them again!
I’m going to use a spice grinder and then sieve it 😀
Will try this dish today! Thank you dear!:))
beautiful and tasty
Lovely thnks
Hello Ma'am! No turmeric needed?
I love you chetna ❤️ love your recipe thank you
Can I make this with potatoes that are not fried? And can I also add chickpeas? Or chicken? :)
Yes and yes
Looks so good but any suggestions to make it dairy-free? Coconut milk or....?
If you can get it use vegan yoghurt.
I was going to ask what to eat with it. What kind of protein? I am a potato gal but if I just eat potatoes then I am hungry in an hour.
never seen garlic that big in my life
haha
This recipe sounds a little like Bombay Potatoes that I remember? How similar is it ?
That does not have yogurt
Love your recipe’s and I try to follow them 100% but I live in Thailand now and some ingredients are difficult to find, I’m gradually building my spice collection
I love your channel!
Thank you so much!
May I ask - why are the spices dry roasted as opposed to fried?
Dry roasting releases the oils from the spices to get most flavour
Wish you could make it for love your dress where's it from x
What about the potato that went on the floor.
Why did you not just rost the potatoes
You can roast the potatoes too, I like them fried in this recipe
Oo thank looks yummy. I'm not sure I'd add that many dried chillies :-)
great food, but would be much more helpful with a list of ingredients
Drooling. 🙈
Yeah
Were the dried red chillis "normal" or the fancy Kashmiri ones please?
Hello dear, those are the "normal" dried red chillis.
Kashmiri dried red chillis are a bit bigger and their skin is having "wrinkles":)
hii Chetna.. what type of cookware set you use? Any suggestion by anyone in what type of cookware set we should invest?
I use all sorts, from tefal to other brands. these days I am using pans from Haufson
2 second rule 😂
Would this work as well with sweet potatoes?
Yes it will
Please post text recipe in description thanks.
You were in a real tis-was today.
Even with the 5 second rule. Then hot oil, then forgetting it. Ohhhh boy.
Mxx
where is the recipe pls
This is the recipe
@@FoodwithChetna sorry i mean written one.. i didn't have yogurt so i used oat cream and came out amazing..
More Curry Pls!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)
Potato on the floor added to the pot. 😷
Please use lower heat or make sure the food is dry when you fry things. You've worried me a few times now. 😨
Bye!
💜💚
Will do
can you skip the cinnamon has no one likes it in our family
That looks like the sauce has split.
Francis McDonnell when the sauce splits like that it means it’s ready same with Italian dishes
