    The three-times cooked noodles makes an amazing difference. I cook noodles three times like this for all chow mein dishes now. Really adds a depth of flavour.

      Monalisa Mondal I personally like the egg noodles that she used in the video but sometimes I’ll use the thicket egg noodles that are used in Lo Mein dishes

  • @KamalikaMukherjee81
    @KamalikaMukherjee81 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Brilliant! I know this is going to taste awesome because, sometimes, I cook instant Maggi like chowmein. Which means, I boil the noodles in water, drain and then stir-fry with veggies along with the packet seasoning and soy sauce and vinegar. I LOVE the crispy caramelized bits of noodles that stick to the bottom of the wok. I scrap them out diligently because they taste so yummy. I don't think I can get fresh egg noodles here in my country, but no matter, I'll try with whatever good quality noodles available. Thanks for teaching us this unique technique, Marion. 🥰

    I, too, am obsessed with noodles. This recipe seems easy though the noodles are tri-cooked. I love the simple sauce, and a dash of sugar to balance the flavors. I would love the addition of mushrooms, the more veggies, the better! Great video. 😍 #obsessedwithnoodles

    Made this for dinner tonight. So so good!! I added a bit a garlic, because I love garlic. Had a bit of a hard time with the noodles, they literally only need to boil for like 10 seconds. Had to scratch the first batch. But I did find an amazing Asian grocer near by, and was able to aquire every ingredient. I'm shocked at how much less things cost at the Asian grocery! I'll be visiting again very soon, as I'm totally hooked on your recipes!!

    Hi again Marion!
    Unbelievable!, I just bought the noodles and was wondering what to do with them! I have all the ingredients, but I am adding a few shrimp, fresh thai chili, and beansprouts(my kids love them)! Can I use a bit of palm sugar instead of white?
    Thank you, over the top delish recipe!

    I made these last night. I didn't have the veggies and I don't like chicken 😂 so I roasted an onion 🧅 and a shallot and some garlic 🧄 🤗 I used shrimp 🦐 instead of the chicken 🐓. I had the ingredients for the marinade and sauce. Well I used rice vinegar instead of the cooking wine 🤷🏽‍♀️ but I did the steps and am so impressed with myself and this dish. Thanks Marion 🖤🖤🖤

    Always better to start with ginger, garlic & chilli, then throw in the chicken. Remove chicken, then cook veggies, re - introduce chicken, sauce, finally noodles, then garnish with spring onion & bean sprouts for crunch.
