  • 2023 Toyota Crown Hybrid MAX review by The Straight Pipes. The 23 Toyota Crown Platinum is putting down 340 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque from a Hybrid 2.4L Turbo 4 Cylinder. At $59,990 CAD, would you take it over the Kia Stinger, Chrysler 300 or Dodge Charger? Maybe even a Rav 4 Prime?

I work for Toyota and in some of their models that have USB or USBC plugs inside they'll leave a gap for the cords to be able to come out without pinching them. That could explain that space you all pointed out.

I ferry around older parents and for people that say lifted is useless, remember that for mobility impaired people raising up the seat a bit higher than a standard sedan can make all the difference in ingress/egress comfort and loading/unloading the trunk. Simultaneously, it reduces anxiety about small road debris, curb height when front parking, or steep inclines off the street where you are less likely to scrape.

I've had multiple back surgeries and like Sedans because SUV's are a bit too high, but my sedan is tough getting in and out of too. The second I saw this car I wanted it. This car could really improve my life and it doesn't look like an old school Volvo.

9:57 I am beyond disappointed that they did not include Teammate on the Crown. It literally has the Teammate steering wheel from the Mirai and the LS500H, but they excluded it for no reason. I would have bought it in a heartbeat, but I'd rather pick up a 2021 or 2022 G80 with HDA II and basically sleep at the wheel because of how good the lane centering is and how long you're able to go with your hands off the hwheel

My grandpa bought it because his 2020 Tacoma was too difficult to get into with his mobility issues, but he lives in the mountains of Pennsylvania so he needed a car that’s capable of handling deep snow in his rural area. It is absolutely amazing

  • @christianalden4603

This redesign of the crown looks revolutionary. Especially with the two-tone accents on the car's middle section from the front all the way to the back. It has lost some of it's luxurious features from the past, but I still love it compared to the crowns from the late 2010s which were basically downgraded versions of the Lexus LS.
That lift though, feels weird but at the same time very practical when going through speed bumps and off-road terrains on the get go.

As a gen z, this car is incredibly appealing to me. The design is original yet sophisticated, the two-tone paint is amazing and refreshing. As i totally hate SUV's and their poor driving characteristics, but don't like to be beaten up on these broken Quebec roads, this would be the answer for me. The daily factor of this beast is through the roof.
