Welcome to my comprehensive review of the 2023 Toyota Crown. This video is your ultimate guide to everything you need to know about this new hybrid, all-wheel-drive luxury sedan, Toyota's new flagship.
I kick off with an introduction to the New Toyota Crown, exploring its range of configurations, pricing, and unique features. We delve into the power under the hood, examining both the base hybrid engine and the turbocharged Hybrid Max available in the top-line Crown Platinum.
My mid-range Limited tester, priced at $51k, boasts an enhanced audio system, ventilated leather seats, a panoramic moonroof, a heated steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers and Multi-Beam LED lights. Stay tuned as I put these features to the test!
We then compare the size and roominess of the Toyota Crown to other models like the Toyota Camry and discuss whether this sedan is worth its premium price tag.
The Road Test section gives you a firsthand experience of what it's like to drive this beauty on the open road. We wrap up with a detailed Headlight Test to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Multi-Beam LED lights.
In addition, we'll be discussing the Crown's advanced safety systems that work seamlessly in the background to ensure a smooth and safe drive. We'll also be highlighting its quick and lively steering feel that adds an athletic touch to your daily commute.
Under the hood, my tester's standard hybrid engine with 236 horsepower and AWD provides plenty of all-electric driving in around-town settings. Full-throttle acceleration is impressive with a solid and steady push into your seat that stays on until you lift.
Finally, we'll be showcasing the next-generation infotainment system screen that's big and high-end, along with plenty of nearby storage and charge ports for your convenience.
Whether you're a car enthusiast or considering your next purchase, this video is a must-watch! Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more car reviews.

We just purchased a Crown Limited getting around 45 MPG on the first 1,000 miles of driving. We liked the thought of having AWD for the slippery winter months. My wife wanted a sedan to replace her Taurus. We are happy with the ingress and egress height.

Excellent choice, nice thing about hybrid all-wheel drive in this setup is that it uses virtually no extra fuel versus front wheel drive 👌👌

Justin, very well done detailed review. I agree 100% about the ride of the Crown. I own a Limited Crown, and I, too, was taken aback when I testdrove the Crown. I initially was drawn to the unique look of the Crown and once I test drove it, I knew this would be parked in my driveway. If the Crown is a vehicle you are considering, I urge you to go test drive one.

Hi there, did you receive one or two keys for your vehicle at pickup? As I was told one for now, due to chip shortage.

@tonysang5530 I was given only one key. The salesperson said I will get 2nd key sometime in 1st quarter 2024.

It would be great if you can make a excel sheet with dimensions. Honestly for the money toyota asks , its better to go with Lexus es350 that has 2870mm wheel base/ avalon platform. This one has 2849mm which is just a bit longer than a camry. The base trim should start at 44000$ CAD but its on par with Lexus es2023 unfortunately at 50-52k.

Am I missing something? What are the "problems" with the car?

    • @hlcepeda
      @hlcepeda 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

See 12:49 and onward (examples: headroom; vehicle cost versus lack of certain features for the price; etc.). "Problems" are subjective, so, what's no biggie for you or me, could be a problem for some who might dive into a purchase w/o doing some research. I'd admit, though, that the bold and capitalized portion of the video caption is unfortunate and click-baity, and therefore not worthy of Justin's excellent reviews across the board. An alternate caption w/zero "manipulation": _2023 Toyota Crown Limited Road Test, Night Drive: Nearly Perfect_

@@hlcepeda yeah they are characteristics of the car not actual problems but I was a sucker for the click bait,...and compares way too many cars with metric and sae measurements that makes the video very confusing

Bought my 2023 Crown Limited for $42,500 US in January 2024. Four months previously I was quoted $46,500! Wonderful car and like it much more than the '21 Avalon we had.

42.5k being out the door or MSRP? I'm getting a '23 crown for 44k OTD and I'm wondering if that's a good price or if I should negotiate further

    • @johnolthoff7627
