This will still be about $15k more than the new gen 4Runner. 4Runner is gonna start around $40k, so there's plenty of room in their lineup. Probably will also come standard with the 4 cyl turbo in the new Tacoma and have optional 4 cyl hybrid like in the TRD Pro and Trailhunter trim levels.
@@Fr3akGamers My thoughts exactly. kind of like an off-road version of the Highlander. Or another truck based SUV to compete with Ford and Chevy, but a bit smaller.
@@Tritonal92 I think that if the new 4Runner is the exact same size and capacity as the Land Cruiser, and the price is $15,000 less nobody will buy the Land Cruiser. I'm not complaining that Toyota is making lots of cool SUVs still, it just seems odd to have more than one vehicle in the segment.
@@Tritonal92 this also comes standard with the 4 cylinder turbo and is similar size to a 4runner. If the 4runner TRD Pro of Off Road is the same price as a base Land Cruiser, then why get the land cruiser. Its a weird product overlap
Sad to say two Toyota Land Cruisers were stolen this month here in Japan.
He actually BREAKS IT right after passing the chief assistant to the chief engineer flying😂
this was the funniest video ever the editor killed it
Well. It’s build for Middle East and the desert heat. So for sure you will shortlisted in Europe
The places where the cheap material is, from my point of view is actually very well positioned. I own RR, and untill this video i did not realise that those points where Mr. Watson showed are actually the points where a lot of dirt is accumulated. Especially on the sun roof and visers (where you tend to touch with not allways perfectly clean hands).
Kind of sad we’re both watching a car review at this time😂
Time is a social construct and a great excuse for not doing things😅

Yup. 01 48 am😭

Helllo mate is morning for me 🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
At 27:31 Matt risking his life for Content 😅. The dedication 👏 👏 👏
I imagine Mat returning all his test cars quietly at the parking lot and then running away before they notice what he's done to them.

This new generation of land cruiser will be a living legend. i really love the simplicity and off-road rugged it's give 💪🔥
Toyota keeps upgrading and redesigning the land cruiser and Prado but completely neglects the hilux 😭
It comes in 2025.
Would love to see a comparison between this and a 110 defender
One of the most common cars in northern Scotland is the Dacia duster -for the sole reason that they’re cheap and tough
My overall verdict: BUY IT! In a mining environment such as Tarkwa where most of the roads are not in the best of shape, you get an absolute peace of mind driving a Landcruiser. I've really enjoyed watching this video by CARWOW. I can't wait for this year model to get to my region. ❤
As a user from the states, it's nice to see a carwow video being uploaded at a usable time
It's not live, so what difference does it make?
Oh - are you one of those "first!" nincompoops? 🤣
Imagine how awesome it would have been if they put the 3.3ltr TT V6 diesel in the 300 series in this.
They probably don't want to kill demand for the 300 series by doing that
@@Ken.leimeisterengine alone doesn't make the car, and some markets don't have the 300 so there would be no demand to be hurt
Do the Lexus version of this Land Cruiser
This was one of the most fun carwow videos I've seen for a while! I absolutely loved the bit where you were speeding down the forest lol And I like the car too, it looks great in my opinion.
I’ve been inside the Toyota Burnaston Factory seeing the welding is an amazing sight 👍 I love the look of this New Landcruiser shame it’s such limited availability
Luxury+ tough+ reliability = Man I Love land cruises.
Premium feeling LR STAY IN THE YARD FOR SO LONG😂
Matt is a type of person who waits for a range rover in the middle of the desert to escape from there 😂
Thanks for that great editing. Makes the videos so much better and enjoyable!
Mat's charisma + the legendary editing makes this so enjoyable, like top notch comedy!
thanks for beating it up for us, people who actually will use this offroad appreciate you!
This is actually gonna be marketed as the new Prado outside the US. The actual full size Land Cruiser is the LC300
Thanks
In Europe it is just Land Cruiser, not Prado
Matt knows he reviewed the LC300 a little while back
they nailed with this
This is a real review and test of a serious off roader. Well done mate!
This is how you do an interior. Love it! And the exterior is also great!
For Australia and big travelling, buy it but get the GXL Prado ( this 250 Series being the Land Cruiser - Prado. The big brother 300 series being the real Land Cruiser) for the 150 litre fuel tanks. The VX and Kakadu only have one tank. And yes, the non-push fuel cap makes complete sense in Outback Oz and Africa because of thieves.
I am very interested to see just how popular this new LC will be here in Australia after the previous generation of the LC Prado was one of Australia's most sold vehicles.
You guys are so damn lucky. I’ve been eyeing one of them here in the US. The ones sold here are damn RHD from Japan so it doesn’t work. They aren’t suppose to be sold here anyway. I wish Toyota releases the brand new Prado here in the states jeez cmon
POV you watch carwow but Mat always reviewing cars you can’t buy cuz we broke

I mean for real u r right
And Toyota does it again😊.
Where there were no roads, there was LANDCRUISER. The most wanted 4WD in the earth. 🙌
I Love this New LC. Well done Toyota ! 👏.
Does Matt ever speak about dependability? Comparing the Toyota to a Land Rover and Jeep in a turning radius, is one thing but reliability is another.
The use of all the memes, clips and all are on point. Keep it up!
The obvious time constraints Matt was in was both annoying and simultaneously very entertaining. 😂 Also a good test for the car to full speed off roading
Coming from Australia, this is called a Prado and yes you do need it because no other car will get you around the country
I was waiting for this one like the mesia, perfect timing after easter week end
The amount is buttons in this car is best thing ❤
O God I agree ❤
I love that the backseat windows go all the way down🤩
New Landcruiser 100x the Quality of an X5
Yet you couldn’t afford either one
Plus Toyota is more reliable than your tesla 😂
Comparing chalk with cheese mate.
You have zero idea if this is the case or not.
@hassyg4083 just letting you know that you are allowed to have an opinion. Everyone else is commenting just assumes you are like them. Can’t afford these cars, and don’t know much about cars.
Matt made an entire movie on the landcruiser and uploaded it at midnight! Love it
You always look for problems even when there's none
The first ones are about to get to the US and the demand is high - with US $10K to $20K markups. I saw a first edition for $95K US. The same thing is happening with the new Lexus GX550 - and most people aren’t having it at these prices.
They are 80k in Colorado with 5/10k markups.
I’m glad people aren’t paying the ridiculous mark-ups. If I were in the market for it, I think the GX is quite a bit better value since it has the V6 and better base model interior.
@@cpftank09 the GX is where it’s at. I agree
The first edition is 90k usd WITHOUT markup in Europe.
