    One thing I've encountered when it comes to lifting trucks is a lot guys say that if its not at least a 6in lift then its not really lifted. I think those type of guys got some issues that they feel like they need to compensate for. A lift is a lift no matter what. Great damn video.

    A before & after would have been a nice touch at the end. Otherwise great work!

    Excuse me, where did you buy the spacers for the stabilizer bar? I can't find them. I have a Ford F150.

    Thinking about switching to prerunner fenders and a new bumper to squeeze 37s with this kit.

    I know you mentiones the tires were 35s what are the wheels size and width? Offset? I am looking on putting 17s wheels with 35 tires but i dont want to do any cuts and trims.

    Your tastes are strange. On one hand you lower the suspension of the Highlander and on the other you lift the suspension of the Ford -150 😁 LOL Keep up with the good work I like your videos....👍

    Great video, one question, Will I be able to fit 315/70/17 using 3 inch lift only no rubbing?

    • @JJBanuelos

      With this lift & crash bars flipped you shouldn’t have any rubbing issues

    Were there any issues with the tires & crash bars? What size tire and wheel offset did he decide to go with?

    The sway bar in blocks, is that necessary? I’m trying to lift my truck I have a 2WD F150. I thinking to use 2 inch lift coil over and switch the upper control arm with 1-3 inch lift as well. What do you think?

    • @JJBanuelos
      @JJBanuelos  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes the sway bar blocks are definitely necessary to keep suspension geometry correct. Yeah you can’t go wrong with control arms when lifting a truck.

  • @thejourneymen7722
    @thejourneymen7722 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If I was going with anything other than a 2 inch leveling puck I would go with A spindle lift because a 3 inch strut lift throws the geometry of the suspension way out of whack especially the upper control arm you have very little downward movement left for any type of off-roading it’s always going to bind up even with the updated control arms where is a 3 inch spindle lift will keep all that factory geometry minus your CV angle which will obviously change unless you go with a complete suspension lift.

    Awesome install, Is there any issue with the angle of the CV axle from doing this 3" lift vs. a 2" level?

    • @JJBanuelos

      Haven’t had any issues at all. No binding with 4wd engaged & disengaged.

    Did you foresee any issues with the stock front bumper? Also I had a 3" lift before i had to go with the 2.5" bc it wore out the upper control hole in the spindle due to the angle. Evidently there's an issue with the spring rate/height on the FX4 vs a standard 4x4. I have the same tire size but a +1 offset Fuel wheel set. I still experience rubbing with the 2.5" when backing up and also quick braking. So I want to go back to a 3" but unsure if this kit will do the trick or if i need to find a coil over kit and try to make it work that way. Any suggestions?

      Yes - as long as you have a leveling kit installed that raises the front 2 to 3". I have a 3" lift using different struts in front and 1.5" blocks in back and 275/60/20 tires on stock wheels (2016 F-150, 2WD)
