    I had this lift kit on my 2010 F150 and now I have it on my 2018 F150 for 3 years now. It is a great kit! No issues with ball joints. Just keep them greased. I'm running 20x10 -24 offsets with 33x12.50 tires. I did remove the front crash bars and there is no rubbing at all.

    Ready lifts site says that kit is not suppose to be used with off road package. That truck has the off road FX4 package is there anything you had to do ? were the CV angles okay ? I want to put this kit in but my f150 but it has the FX4 package my local shop says it won't work but with no reason why other than because ready lifts site says so .

    Hi there! I was wondering how much you had to cut off the crash bars? Did you have to cut crash bars and plastic trimming?

  • @anthonyterry819
    @anthonyterry819 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Did you just trim the front plastic? No trim to crash bars?

    • @firstchoicetires6017
      @firstchoicetires6017  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      some plastic and cross bars because the customer wanted 22x20 negative off set

    I just put a 3.5” rough country lifted kit and now planning to put the rims 35x12.5 22 what kind of cut I need to do?

      Did you do the lift? If so do the wheels rub?

    • @fabianglr
      @fabianglr ปีที่แล้ว

      Zero offset will require trimming. Instructions say zero offset to +18 is good with 35x12.5. I'll be installing +16 offset and we'll see how it goes

    Truck rides like a dump truck with mine on. Also has 18 35 x12.5 wheel tire.. I feel either stick with a level kit or do the full diff drop 4 or six inch lift.. I’ve had two shops do this first one screwed up second one didnt do much better I wasted 1000 on second shop trying to fix should have went 4 inch

    You guys need some help. Chrome sockets instead of impact sockets, no reference to torque, Jack used as Jack stands, so manysafety concerns. It appears you don't know about the IWE actuator. You probably damaged a brand new truck.

    Is it possible to leave the factory small block that you took off on the rear leaf springs and add the new 3in. Lift block with the factory to get another inch or 2 lift ?

    • @firstchoicetires6017
      @firstchoicetires6017  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can but then your truck will be way off level , the rear of the truck will set higher , I personally don’t like .

      First Choice Tires I have done some research on this, and I have heard that the spacer is not to be used on the FX4 trim, but it looks like it worked fine for you. How are the cv angles on that now?

      Zac so ford is wird , on this truck I used the full kit , but this truck did not came with off road packages, this is platinum edition with fx4 decal , I don’t know why the put fx4 on it , but cvaxel is right every thing works well, Ford has so many trim .

      @@firstchoicetires6017 Excellent. Have you tried to drive it in 4 wheel drive? Heard there can be issues with the CV angles at the angles they achieve. Let me know.
