Wow, that's... weird. I don't think I've ever seen a _'Road Test'_ by *_MotorWeek_* that showed nothing but stock footage from a manufacturer. I've been watching the show for about 30+ years... Usually they only use manufacturer footage for previews instead. Maybe *Fisker* was unable to deliver a *Karma* to them on the East Coast?
on paper, it does sound like a carolla. one thing i think mw forgot to mention was that the car was built for cruising. and even though the carolla can do 120, it probably can't cruise comfortably at that speed
эта самая прогрессивная система гибрида проблема только одна в неё не хотят верить инвесторы а она может дать рабочие места и создать свой рынок одновременно
Honda has it right with the FCX... electric tech is a stepping stone unless there's a tech breakthrough whereby batters get 50% lighter and more efficient and charges is 95% less time
More likely that it will fail because of missteps by Fisker in managing the launch. 100% recall rates and burning peoples garages down won't help either. It is a great design, but it was launched on a shoestring and it shows.
Electric vehicles have INSTANT MAXIMUM ACCELERATION which gives you a lot of torque. Their power delivery is similar to a diesel engine. This is also a eight-year-old road test. The Fiska Karma weighs a portly 5300 pounds. Newer electric vehicles such as the Tesla PS 1OOOD will hit 60 in less than 3 seconds.
I Love this car but the numbers don't lie, Tesla Model S wins. Its All EV, adjustable ride height, 2 full trunks and approximately 300mi range not to mention you get the full package @ 100 grand not just the basic. God this car sure is beautiful though.
A waste of money, I will buy a Tesla product because is made in America and employed them as well, Karma is a sale out with American dollars, and went overseas with the money, and is kinda ugly to me and not reliable.

That's too heavy. It's not a Bentley- doesn't have the size and power but weighs the same amount???! Poor engineering.

1000 ft torque but 6.3 0-60?

Bs stock footage how are you going to comment on it without driving it!?
Beautiful car, not so beautiful engineering. RIP Fisker.
No they don't. It takes far more energy to produce the hydrogen than it does to fill up batteries.
This needs to be better!!!!!
this car is a pioneer of luxury ev, but it will fail due to its hefty price.

I would like it more if it wasn't electric. V8 anyone???
NO! that's not what i'm talking about, please read my blog i just posted. I agree with you! we (Americans)Are not,

If I were rich I'd buy one of these just for the body, rip all the electric junk out ant stuff a real engine in it.
first
You'd get bad karma from driving it...
Tesla Model S > Fisker Karma in every respect!
You don’t know how right you will be
ridiculously oversized wheels...
1000ft
