I thought I was a person that did not like Yoga, but this is the first time I tried Yin Yoga rather than the more mainstream Hatha or Vinyasa Yoga classes I've done in the past, and I found this to be much more gentle and meditative than anything I've experienced before. I have ADHD so slowing down is hard, but this helped me truly recharge. At the end, I couldn't believe I had made it through the whole 25-minute video without feeling antsy. So thank you for sharing 😌😌 I am excited to try more.
beautifully written comment, and I felt the same way after doing Annies workout-- though truthfully I had my doubts in the beginning. Annie, I cannot thank you enough :) (but i did pay my fee of 1 comment and a like :P)
@@55MAK55I some how missed this comment. My apologies and I thank you for your kind message. I took a full year off from making new videos, focusing on my pregnancy and now baby. But I’m slowly coming back! Thanks again for practicing! 🙏
I have to say encouraging “It was hard to me”. I’m 23, burt out and not flexible at all, gained some health issues from sitting lifestyle. It’s my first yoga class, I tried to find beginner one. I’m so grateful for myself that I started. I want to revitalise myself and my life again with what I desire and deeply love
The most important part and the hardest is starting! And you've done it. :-) In yin yoga, honour your physical and emotional limits and go into the poses as long as you feel enough (and not too much) sensations. :-) Most yin classes are beginner friendly, as long as you respect your personal limits.
Thank you so much! I am 68, & have just begun a new full-time position as a dialysis social worker. Your yoga practice calmed my body and brain…and nourished my spirit. Sending blessings, gratitude, and love, Maralyn in Virginia ❤️🌹
Thank you I was feeling tired after work & this was lovely! I feel more energized afterwards. I like how you include Traditional Chinese Medicine in your yoga practice! In Swan pose my knee hurt so I switched to pigeon. My only suggestion would be to please say reminder to relax your body(jaws, face, hips) during these poses to help encourage relaxation. Thank you again I loo forward to doing more of ur videos!
Such a beautiful practice and exactly what I needed today, thank you! Love your calm energy and gentle prompts, can’t wait to start the 21 day challenge
Thank you so much for this class. I am currently working and studying, and I always feeling like I am not doing enough. This practice and the poem just made me feel so much better. Thank you, again:) xx
I was in a pretty bad mood before doing this, and am always amazed at how quickly my perspective and attitude can change within 20 min. Thanks for this, and also loved the poem! Fabulous as always
Hey Annie, I don't know if you'd remember me. My name is Tiff. You trained me to be an ashtanga-vinyasa teacher back in 2014 in Bali. I came across this video as I was recently put on medical leave from my corporate job, and yoga is one thing I've come back to time and time again over the last 10 years to keep me grounded and sane. I wanted to say, the poem you chose today felt like it was a reminder to me. 10 years ago you and I were drinking green juice in Bali, practicing for up to 6 hours a day. Up until today, I haven't thought back in a meaningful way; over all the years in between then and now. The physical and metaphorical miles. Sure, I've told people about Bali. But I haven't really placed myself back there or thought about that version of me. In some ways I felt the need to say "Oh Annie, I spent 10 years making myself sick... I didn't do what you taught me..." I am glad this video brought your reminder back to me, and I don't know if I would have thought back the way I had, had you picked any other poem. I am so glad you're still teaching, I needed to find you today. Thank you.
Hi Tiff, I am glad you have found this video and even more grateful we find each other again. The universe has a way of guiding us. Our yoga teacher training was just one single step of many that you'll take on your spiritual path. Let each practice be a space for you to tune to what serves you best. Trust in the process and more importantly trust in yourself. Sending you immense love, Annie.
Thank you Annie this was utterly amazing!! Question: how about I help you translating your audiotrack for this video to Spanish? I love this video so much. It is the most helpful I have found in 7+ years practicing yoga solely off YT, so… it says a lot And I want to be able to transmit it to my beloveds (I am Colombian but speak perfect French as my husband is from France and we have been together 9+ years.) I also got my Yin Yoga Teacher Training in 2020 in the midst of a pandemic. Love you so much. And, as a certified yoga instructor in Yin Yoga, you are the new mover of my soul.
Hello! I'm so sorry for the delayed response. First of all, thank you SO MUCH for the kind words and I'm so glad you resonated with the practice. My husband helps me with the editing and I'm currently 6 months pregnant (hence I haven't released any new videos lately). I would love for my future video (s) to be translated to Spanish and serve more people Once I can settle a bit more with my new life transition, I would love to reach out again! Love you too and thank you for your act of kindness!
I haven’t gone through the video yet but I am very shaky, burnout, feeling pain and weakness all over my body from panic attacks and weight loss. Can this video help with these issues.
Hi Chole, often when our body starts to relax, the suppressed emotions may surface up. This is completely natural and nothing to worry about. However, if you feel the emotions are too intense, you can stop the practice and simply lay down or go for a walk to dissipate the emotions. A reflection like journaling or chatting with a friend can be helpful to integrate your experience as well. Sending you lots of love!
@@YinYogaWithAnnie thank you I spoke to my therapist about the experience and She said the same thing, it was intense but I felt relief afterwards. Thank you for the video :)
