- I came home from SDCC to find some Marvel Legends goodness waiting for me and it all happens to be the Avengers: Beyond Earth's Mightiest. Spoiler: Irona Man Mark 01, Black Widow, and Hawkeye with Skycycle all kick ass.

Not sure if he didn't see it the way the camera did, but I'm surprised Robo didn't mention the eyes painted inside the Iron Man helmet. That's actually a cool touch to Me.
They are sculpted under there and honestly I didn't see it until I got into edits.
Something about the swirly twirly plastic on the Iron Man really works for me, like the metal is oil stained from being put together in a cave with a box of scraps, it just works

You might be surprised about that Doctor Doom figure in that Monica Rambeau two pack. That figure seriously brings the drama. He comes with an amazing unmasked head and a loose Dr. Doom mask with special hands for holding and posing with it.
Oh, I'm not saying it's bad by any means, and I really dig the Secret Wars vibes. I'm just more of a traditional look Doom kinda guy.
As a big fan of Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, that Hawkeye figure makes me especially happy. A shame the cloth is kinda crappy looking.

They all look great! I definitely gotta try and get them when I can. I do hope we get a golden version that Iron Man and a classic original Wasp figure so we can recreate The Avengers in their first appearance.

“I’m sorry but I’m not Tony Stark…”
For this Mark I Iron Man armor, a few things:
1) This Mark I armor could never fly. His boot jets just allowed him to lift a few feet off the floor.
2) This Mark I armor was mainly designed to keep Tony Stark's heart going. What you called air vents are actually electrical plugs. Back in the day, Tony Stark could recharge this Mark I armor by plugging it into a wall socket.
3) I don't think this Mark I armor had a uni-beam or repulsors.
4) This Mark I armor's only weapon was using magnets from his gauntlets.
I know when Tony painted it gold he used roller skates to save energy and nip about quickly.
It's been a dry spell for me this year with Marvel Legends, until now. I'm not super into the Avengers comics, but there's major staple Marvel characters that I either didn't have or was okay getting upgraded versions of. I finally got the classic Ant-Man at the end of last week after struggling to find it, never had a comic Ant-Man so he was a welcomed addition and I love how he looks amongst the rest of the team.

I was fine with the grey suit 90's Black Widow figure, but the more classic black costume look is my mental image and I try to stick to classic iconic looks, then I saw that new version was up on Pulse here in the UK. It released two days ago so I ordered it and it arrived the next day. It's a great figure but it was really nice to get an impulse buy for once, that figure wasn't on my radar until I saw it had released a few days ago. That said she was a Target exclusive who released in the UK on Pulse, Ant-Man was a Target exclusive but didn't release anywhere in the UK as far as I can tell, not sure why that is since Target, Walgreens and Walmart exclusives usually go up on Pulse here.
Hawkeye just released on Pulse today and I'm absolutely going to get him since I don't have a comic Hawkeye figure, but I'm going to wait since I'm going to be away for a week, it's releasing at other places during that time so I'll wait and see where I can find it, Pulse is handy but I'd rather support my local comic shop.
That Mark I Iron Man is cool, I love that look especially in comics where he brings it back when he has to go more analogue to fight villains like Ultron or Kang, in fact removing the classic red and gold design it may be my favorite. However, as much as I like it or the Silver Centurion look, I stick to one and done versions of characters, I don't do multiples or variant designs simply to save money and space, and for me the 80 Years Iron Man does the job.

After getting a lot of the characters in boxes this summer I have to admit, I like them better. The full box protects my character/toy better. Because they are not put into odd positions then their arms/legs/joints aren't already warped. And the accessories don't come out bent. And they wrapped in recyclable protects. And the artwork is cool.
I glued that Widow hair piece. Glad I wasn't the only one, lol
I like all of the Widow heads so I put the short hair on the gray version with jet pack, the Peggy Bundy hair on the vintage carded version and the mean face stays on

I got Hawkeye a few weeks ago, at my local Game Stop. :)
The paint job on Hawkeye unfortunately looks kind of choppy. Might make a good play day touching up the paint job if you can match the exact colors. Like behind hisbear and that buckle.

Great review Robo. I just got my “Mark zero one” Iron Man and he is great! Classic Hawkeye on the sky cycle is one of my most wanted figures. He looks do stellar! I’m stoked for Widow as well.
I saw the sky cycle disassembled and thought "here we go, another button on the Batmobile situation" but he figured it out! Way to go Robo!
Was there ever talk of this Hawkeye coming with a second belt/loincloth that was sculpted? Or am I imagining it?

Honestly just want a repaint of that iron man now so we can get a Model 2 suit. It would be great for a original Avengers display

I can't wait for my Hawkeye and the West Coast Avengers pack to show up. We already have great White Vision, Scarlet Witch, U.S. Agent and War Machine figures. We need an updated Wonderman and I'm pretty much set for the team.... well, I guess they could do a Living Lightning too... and some of the other randos I can't really recall but I can live without them.

maybe someone in the community can 3D Print the a soft rubber overlay for the straps then you can paint purple and glue to soft part.

have had the hawkeye for awhile now from bbts & i love him! lil rubber squares on the fabric would’ve DEFINITELY been cool, but also might’ve been kinda awkward and leaves a lot of room for qc nightmares. BUT i gotta say the favorite out of ALL of these avengers figs is definitely IRON CAN mark 01 !!! & he’s on the way, an will be here any minute now. what can i say? the rivets, the glowing arc reactor, the 50’s style antenna on the left side. ooh he’s gorgeous! side to side with the classic 20th anniv ML vers looks great. my two favorites. with the hologram tony head. classics only iron men. i’ve got a couple favorites like cartoon vers, the modern comic vers that dr. doom got his hands on. he’s cool. including the new fat chrome toaster man! ive been really stoked on the star wars & ML’s lately. good stuff. thanks for doin’ what you do! big fan.✌🏼❤️©️.
Large feet are good, I'm glad that new 2 pack Black Knight has large size feet.
On the iron man review in where you said that the little buttons on the sides of his stomach are air vents , are actually plug sockets to recharge his armor.
I have three of the first appearance grey Ironman from 2010 or there about and two of the gold version very happy with those but I really want that new one.

Hasbro is really cool at painting arc reactors these days. It’s very effective “light up” look, the Mark 3 MCU was the same way.
I just got these, the captain marvel and doom, and am waiting for the hulk and banner, this is looking to be a great set of figures. I do hope that with the new Hawkeye body we get a dark Hawkeye since they’re just need to do a new arm

These figures all look so awesome. I'm hoping to get all of them but If I can't I'll definitely get Widow and Hawkeye before Iron Man. I love Iron Man, he's my favorite superhero, but I'm wanting Widow and Hawkeye to join my Avengers team. They look so nice 👌

Looking forward to getting Tony and Clint. Natasha is a great figure. They are the only ones I preordered too. Monica looks ok. I like shiny DOOM. Destroyer is rad. I have the Marvel Select one so I’m good. Masterson Thor is ok. I like the idea of the Adaptoid but not so much execution. Don’t care about Sersi and flash light Black Knight. Bucky Cap is a must. Is he in the white box special? Anyway maybe if on sale later for most of these sets. Surely someone has made straps with rectangle raised sections in flexible plastic we can glue on Hawk guy. I still think it doesn’t solve the sit down issue. Surprised there are no pegs in sky cycle.
My Model 1 hit my pile of loot, and I'm still waiting on my Widow, but I got Hawkeye last week. I like him a lot. I had to rearrange the display to fit the cycle, but it's too cool to not display. I also got my Captain Marvel/Doom set. She's really nice. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Doom. I originally considered him the necessary evil to get my 80's Monica, but now I'm actually going to try to find a place for him on the shelf.
Since these are now in my grubby hands I'm now eyeballing that Doom/Monica set. Grrr.
I hope they do a gold repaint of that Iron Man mold. Don't get me wrong, I like the silver colour too, but the classic Avengers look with the gold version of the Model I armour looks sooo much better, imo.

I think the Long hair Modern Black Widow head would make a good Oracle Barbra Gordon head for a custom.
I can see that. I'm also kinda leaning towards replacing Siryn's screaming head.
Just got Iron Man and my biggest gripe with it is the lack of flamethrower gun, it would have been nice if they sculpted a trigger hand (at least one) and thrown in Orb's gun and called it a day. It's fine tho, it's a great figure all around.

The Iron Man Model 1 armor actually doesn't have an Arc Reactor core(as it barely is exists or even mentioned in the comics) nor does it have Repulsor technology, Repulsors weren't employmented until the Model 4 Classic Armor. Yeah the MCU kinda spedup the progression of the Iron Man tech 😂

For this Black Widow figure, I'm not a fan of the loose hair on her short hair head. Like others, I glued down the hair because I think Hsabro did an incredible face sculpt for her.
I bought 2 Hawkeyes and both have the loose thigh swivels. After a closer look, the socket wasn’t cased correctly so the peg doesn’t sit tightly in the joint. This was also an issue on a Black Widow I purchased and a Spinneret. It’s exclusively an issue with the pin-less legs. I contacted customer service and sent pictures but it might be worth spreading the word so Hasbro is made aware of this issue. We’re paying a premium for these now and they’re having more and more QC problems.

Another thought on the IRON MAN figure l see he's missing the skirt, they could have used that elastic cloth to resolve that issue.
My thigh did the same thing on my hawk guy it looks fine on my self with the cycle but when I do a leg spreed archer pose it looks goofy😢

I miss when Toy Biz would include stands and accessories - like a nearly identical sky cycle - for the same RRP, and it was a given those things would be included. Hasbro have basically been using identical figures to both Toy Biz and previous waves with zero improvements, less paint, half the accessories, no stands, etc, for years now, and we as collectors have given them a free pass.
I think the boots are reuse from one of the goblins but i refuse to take mine down to check.
I checked after, it's 20th Captain America for sure, not sure about others. Goblins are mostly tattered and pointy, at least the ones I have.

Something was bugging me about the hawkeye and now i know what, his eyes are moved waaaay out to the front of his head, its like he doesnt have eyeholes and his face above the nose is just a flat surface with eyes printed on xd

This Black Widow is rhe best from Hasbro because the articulation and head sculpts and beautiful, Hawkeye looks cool especially how classic he looks, and Iron Man Model 1 looks great despite the marbly plastic that me and Robo like because it's very comic booky, I don't have them, But I will get Black Widow because she is fire, Great review.

I think how Hasbro reused the effect bracelets from the 90s black widow is really cheap because they don’t match with her neutral bracelets.

Swap the Bone crusher shoulder with Hawkeye for better look and lift the arm bands to hide the bicep swivel, give him a wash and ENJOY, your welcome buddy
