I hope this means more love for female figures in the future. The body bucks have always been incredibly lacking in terms of both articulation but also just sculpt as super heroes. I like that this and Shriek look like they've got some more muscle and size to them, and the added thickness helps make the joints not gummy. I'm still not crazy about the torso set up but this looks like a good base to expand on. Spiral remains my high bar though
"Figure of the Year" potential already! I absolutely love the face print tech on comic figures. That's why I've usually preferred MCU figs. I definitely plan to get a couple, even if they don't hit clearance for a long while. Really need to update my other BW's or just use her parts for custom figure fodder.
Awesome Black Widow figure, best female figure for a long time. Last female was Dark Phoenix in the 2 pack that came with 3 heads. The frustrating thing is Hasbro will go back to an old female buck from 2013 & try to rip us off with the same price. Valaverse have decreased prices on all their line, so why are Hasbro so greedy.
As great as this figure is, it's too bad we won't see the level of accessories she has on any other figure for a very long time if not ever again. Kinda the same deal with the body mold but I can see the reuse for Black Cat or something like that.
Hopefully this is the standard for female figures moving forward. It took too long for them to finally be on par with male figures' articulation, but I'm just glad we're finally here.
I finally decided to get this figure today, along with the upcoming Hawkeye who are both available on Pulse here in the UK for pre-order. I was okay with the grey suit version, that's one of my favorite alternate designs, but this is the definitive look for her and most of my Avengers display leans more classic/iconic looks, so the grey suit just looked out of place now. Plus the improved paint, articulation and all the accessories add a lot.
She looks incredible I think maybe they could have done an ankle articulation like what the ranger slayer for the power rangers had but just happy that they finally stepped it up a bit now just need to see all spider/cat/martial artist type female characters with this articulation at this price point.

Bro, Im a 13 year old male, I went to GameStop today, saw the PS5 spiderman, I had 30 in my pocket, and was going to buy it, but then I saw manbat, for 5 dollars more, and then I saw sabbac. I went to the register and sabbac was 37, but it was on clearance 😎😎. And the PS5 spiderman wasn't even supposed to be on shelves until the 10th, so I copped sabbac and movie storm shadow. I paid 11.39 for sabbac, and 17.19 for movie storm shadow.😎😎😎
I was on the fence about this figure, I thought it was going to just mostly be hand me down parts from Hasbro’s GI JOE Classified series team because their female figures have had double jointed arms and butterfly joints for years. Happy that this wasn’t the case, but a little disappointed that they didn’t use the double diaphragm joint like the Cobra Zarana. The only thing I’m gonna do is add gold Rub N Buff to the belt and arm bands and add a dark brown wash to them.
2 things: One of my favorite aspects of your reviews is your discussion of the "fun" factor. It's always a big selling point to me when I'm debating whether I want a figure or not. 2. I really hope this is the body they are releasing Lady Bullseye on

That Widow is beeyootiful. Those head sculpts are superb. This will replace my Hasbro Riders Widow. As Unparalleled said some costume wrinkles/creases would've lifted it even more. I think they could've gotten a little better torso crunch, but it's nice to see it has some. This articulation should be on all Hasbro's figures. Better still Jada Toys Street Fighter figs setup. A She Hulk/Red Shulkie with this articulation could be ...uncredible.

This to me seems like a figure worth its price point. It's a well articulated figure and not just a female figure with substandard articulation. The accessories are solid. There are plenty of combinations that different folks can have their own look. The accessories show off her power set. There is not question that Black Widow uses firearms. Articulation wise the only thing they need to for this body and the guys is put the lower torso on a ball joint. That way we can get a nice looking torso rotation and well rotation in general. Gi Joe has it. I would love to see that added to the LC collection as well.
I just don’t like the ab crunch, diaphragm combo. If you’re going for ab crunch + diaphragm combo, just do what gi joe does with the ab crunch on top and the ball joint at the waist. You get the most articulation possible and it’s a more natural looking when you pose.

If you notice the black widow symbol looked fine at the beginning of the video and towards the end the QC issue happened? Is the symbol rubbing off?
Watching the play back I noticed that too. It wasn’t perfect but it wasn’t nearly as bad as it was at the end
