As a diorama piece just taking the head off of the Hologram Ironman and making it float above computer console looks really good if you want to try it I liked it

The winner of this wave for me is absolutely Riri. I *love* the Champions so much, and while that isn't the suit I want for her, shell fit the display just fine. MvC Iron Man is pretty dang sweet too
Hasbro does it again. They've made another wave where I couldn't care less about the majority of the figures but I want the BAF. I'm interested in anything Winter Guard and the Riri figure, but I suppose I'll buy the entire wave and sell the excess.

I love the modular armor it was one of my favorites as a kid and I’m so glad they made an updated figure of the original toy biz I got the figure yesterday and it does not disappoint 100/10 totally recommend if you’re looking for some comic book Iron Man nostalgia

This is my favorite of the year. Everything from package, accessories, figures, and BAF it is a grand slam! It was a genuine pleasure taking in all the aspects of thus wave. It was a very fun afternoon opening. Dorkside sent me mine too and great packaging on their part. I ♡ Ursa Major. He’s a beast, well yeah! It is not an actual bear due to the anthromorphizing (word?) super heroeing (yeah a word!) jacking up if the sculpt. It’s so cool. You are 100% correct. It should have had articulated jaw. But they didn’t do that for Timber either. Modular IM really hits the feels! Many hours playing Marvel Super Heroes. So many awesome power effects in that game! Yes the Proton Cannon! Gigantic blue lasers taking up half the screen. Riri is amazing. Stealth IM is a Hoss. Ultron is definite! Darkstar looks fantastic coupled with white Widow, Red Guardian, Crimson Dynamo BAF, Ursa Major, Dr. Chen, and whenever that MS Titanium Man gets released. I’ve seen so many sweet Soviet Super Soldiers team displays. Great! Fantastic! Wonderfully put together wave. Bravo Hasbro.
I love how clean the holographic armour’s white lines are. As a figure to play with or pose, not the greatest but as part of a display or with another figure where it can just stand menacingly, yeah, it looks awesome. Also, waiting for someone to add lights to it
I’m just happy that they’re finally giving us Iron Man villains. First Spymaster, now Guardsman (both Handbook legends!). Next let’s get a Whiplash! However, I dont think the color way on modular Iron Man is right at all. The comic look (which they used for the box and amplifies how off the figure is) was more of a metallic yellow and crimson red. As is, I dont like the way this one looks.
Robo, ursa major and Ultron are the most important/contribute sculpt and fun. Modular Iron man, Riri, and Dark star follow. The various other Iron Mans are for completist or people who missed out on older releases. Of course an army builder for a Baf wave. Thank God someone made the hand ninjas collector friendly, my red one for cancelled after numerous approvals. Great review 👍
LOVE this wave and am also surprised how much I enjoy the Stealth Suit figure--the paint job is just incredible on it. Fingers crossed for a future Modular that is more comic colored, like the box image.
I don't think so. Guardsmen are just prison guards with Diet Iron Man suits. So none of the fancy stuff the normal Armour has. So they mix and match different pieces of equipment to make up for it. I stand to be corrected on that as 80s Iron Man isnt my strong point.
@@N94able Guardsman started off as an Iron Man villain and it was just one suit. He did have blasts like repulsors. He later goes straight and the armor is used as the prison guards, but even still I don't think they used guns that often.
I preordered Ultron and Iron Heart immediately. They still haven’t come in (Target; had to approve delay several times - keep watching ur preorders folks or they’ll get cancelled!). Then I moved on the classic colors Iron Man and stealth suit because they were both $17. Even tho I already have the 80th Anniversary version. Just too cool.

I was at a local Target looking for Odin and the sales associate unlocked a cabinet at the tech counter in the electronics section, and inside was this entire wave just sitting there. No wonder I can never find figures when Target.com tells me which stores have them in stock.

Man, my Iron Heart came in today from Amazon. But someone changed out the blister pack, baf piece, and accessories with a Black Tom Cassidy's Strong Guy baf and took the Riri head sculpt.
I'm surprised Hasbro went through the costs of tooling an unique torso for the Guardsman. Usually they're very apprehensive to tooling parts that don't get re-used. Now that it's in the tooling bank, I wouldn't be surprised to see it appear on another figure down the line.
The hologram Iron Man really reminds me of the original Tron figures from the 80s with the translucent plastic an the white lines. My Stealth Iron Man was big time broken. The pelvis/hips were shattered into 7 pieces. Apparently its been a problem for a good amount of them. It has to be an issue with the plastic mix. Too brittle.
Man those ultron and 90s iron man figures reminds me of booting up Marvel vs Capcom 2 (and maybe 3)and just listening to the character select screen music for minutes on end (you know the take you for a ride song) and then destroying people with iron man and ultron lol Great vid robo hasbro absolutely killed it! I know the modular armour from the 90s cartoon, I skipped this wave so I could afford the Galactus figure but now I'm gutted, the nostalgia is too much, gonna hav to pay the extra few quid after Galactus
I'm still waiting on the Cyclops with Colossus leg to arrive(ty GameStop) so my lack of patience is not fully focused on this wave yet, but hands down, for my tastes, this is the most anticipated wave I've seen in a couple years. If I were to nitpick, personally I'd rather see Darkstar on the updated Moonstone body. I'd add the sculpted detail to the guardsman. I don't mind re-use of old sculpts unless details like gummy joints return. At this price point, all the joints should be consistently functional. Currently my main Ultron is the Diamond Select comic version. It will be cool to see how these stand up to each other.

Modular Iron Man was in Marvel Vs capcom, but the colors of the figure reminds me more to the 2nd Game's Artwork.
