Great content coach. I love the long explanation videos, don't stop doing those. Every single word it's great information for coaches and athletes, specially for those who are far away from your training culture. Thanks for the info coach.

Hello Cris this is from Ethiopia my daughter is middle distance runner She is 13 years old Please i need your help what kinds of exercise is help her to upgrade her speed ? thanks bro.
I think Chris here focuses more on 40-yard dash training and speed training. For middle-distance runners, I would personally however recommend lower weights and medicine ball, medium and high reps exercises, bodyweight exercises, a lot of stretching, and Knees Over Toes types of exercises.
Most important reason - to not get injury. Because of general Principle of Continuity and Systematicness in training. If you do breaks in training it should be for some reason and not random breaks due to injuries as it do harm to your progress (injuries affect other principles like adaptations and their reversibility, for example; it change and shift training plan due to necessary rehabilitation which depends on level of damage done by injury). So overall and dynamic warmup is VERY necessary thing to prepare your FULL BODY for intense training. To understand how exactly dynamic warmup work (what body processes are going) and other benefits - read some boks about Fisiology of Training, Science of training and training theory in general. It raise body temperature, makes muscles more activated and elastic, after that you do stretching to prepare for full necessary range of motion and so on. These drills, if you mean them, are specific running drills with emphasis on running mechanics and technique. Also it work out involving in sprinting muscles (flexors, extensors) and CNS control. It like setup your racing car before main race (training) and do some test runs to setup body. It also could be standalone trainig focusing on technique and not calling dynamic warmup.
So at what point are you actually sprinting to train top speed versus just these isolation drills? Does the entire workout for top speed training not include actually trying to run at top speed?
Great video! My 7 year old son Salih is small but is very quick and has low sense of gravity! Check out his goals on my page, I hope he will fulfil his potential one day 🙏

Sir when we go to speed develop session, why we do dynamic warmup ?

I literally say you finish every session with top speed sprinting to reintegrate everything you work
What were they doing closer to the end of the vid?
Hello bro you super
What’s the main difference between the dead leg run and step over run?
Dead leg you are actually pulling away at the turf where step over strikes but does not pull
🤗🥇
