Actually, it's not. Egg robo is a badnik, and to complete the game, you must defeat him in a race.
I like the fact that this video isn't giant joke(it's a joke afterall),but guide how to get all of the 7 chaos emeralds in Sonic R, withoutta beating a badnik.

No you weren’t paying attention, he either did A: a frame perfect double jump as sonic to avoid the egg robo unlock, which as we know, would cause problems down the line, or B: did a frame perfect glide warp as knuckles to beat the stage instantly

Honestly the first time I watched this video, I did not know much about the game.
I just thought there was some campaign mode where bandiks appear and did not realise that this was a joke.

Next time you do something like this, go to the options menu and change the weather to snow so you can walk on water
I actually have fond memories of this game. The PC version was the one I owned along with a Sonic 3 and Knuckles collection, a genesis pack with sonic 2, and Sonic 3D Blast (WAY better than the genesis one)
Speaking of...how many games do you think you will not be able to complete in terms of the "NO Badniks" rule? 3D blast is probably impossible
