I actually got to meet this guy at comic-con. nobody was in line to meet him and I felt really bad for him. so I went up to meet him and he was super sincere. he is so awesome and he doesn't get enough honor. we need to have the world know who he is.
Mr. McMeme well, he was at GamesCom a few years ago and I was waiting in line for more than an hour to get an autograph. I guess ComicCon is just not the right place for a video game voice actor. Cool guy though :)
Just need to throw my thanks out there as well. He made so many memories for me. Mario I’ve played my whole life and I probably wouldn’t have gotten so attached to the character without Charles creating such a joyful and memorable, fun voice. Thank you for all the memories.
Correction: We won't hear him say it in any video games anymore. His new role as the Mario Ambassador includes him being a walking bundle of fanservice meaning he'll still be doing character voices for the fans as he travels the world to meet them, just not for official work

You can tell he loves doing Mario's voice and does not get tired of it edit: just so people know i mean it as he does not do the voice only when he has to or something like that i mean it as him just having fun doing the voice like he just sees mario and starts doing a bunch of mario sounds and voices for fun

Can you imagine how rare this mans job is. He is not an english dub of Mario but is in fact the voice of Mario for every country that sells the game. No one dubs over his voice anywhere, thats pretty amazing.
So memorable in fact, the original Japanese voice actor for Mario in Japan, Toru Furuya, even recommended the dev's of Mario 64 to use Charles voice lines, because as he said it: "Charles is the heart and soul of Mario" in one interview.
drews.corner We should get rid of all non-Japanese voice acting, so the childhoods of future generations can be shaped by Japanese voices, which are far better.
