not really, Stan Lee never designed a single character, he came up with the ideas of them, and wrote a lot of stories,
The real heroes where the ones that were able to take his characters, design and draw them, tell these stories in a visual way.
Stan Lee is more like a disney or a george lucas person, he is the man with ideas, not the person that actually does the main heavy lifting. Possibly a great leader

Yeah... but Navi didn't hold my hand during that Gohma. I was scared as hell when that eye appeared because I could hear a crackling sound but had no idea about anything, since the stupid Deku brothers only referred to her as "Queenie" before I ever encountered her, and the Great Deku Tree only referred to a curse inside him.
These days, everyone will know about Gohma before they even purchase the damn game because of things like Twitch and TH-cam. The surprise is gone, yet we whine that so many games feel the same and offer nothing different. Then along comes a game like Mario Odyssey or BotW and BOOM!!! surprise. FULL OPEN WORLD ZELDA? WTF?!? ... an open world Mario game, after all these years? And I can control pretty much every hostile? WHAT???
And yet, someone will say "This Zelda sucks because it's not like the others" or "This Mario sucks because controls are so different and you can't get that moon up there without motion controls."
In the end, it's the gamer, especially the overly-informed gamer (since video games are like a kind of magic, and if you know how the trick is done, the magic seems silly), who sometimes ends up ruining the beauty for herself/himself.

Ulen Grau so many shitty games out there, prices have also gotten up. I can't try games like I did back when I was young and games were cheaper or felt cheaper to get. Now getting a game that isn't good enough for the money I spent feels horrible, so I have to look for a review and thus the magic is lost .

The thing why I don't like ps4 or xBox that much is because the only reason why you would ever buy these consoles is because of the exclusives. And these exclusives have no reason not to be on a PC.
But the thing that you can't deny is that Controllers and consoles can change the way how you play games (or how the game developers can make their games).
      Like for example the Wii.
There are so many Games that can only work on that console and his controller.
And even if Changes are small (like the touch pad on the ps4 controller) if someone would make a innovativ controller for the PC, it would be useless. Because no Game would support it or its unique features.
That is why PC Games are limited by the controller, because there is only one controller, every pc Game works with.
The xBox 360 Controller or his successor.
This controller isn't bad, I even have a 360 Controller and use it for many Games on PC, but this controller has nothing new ore special to it (at least not anymore).
That's why I'm hyped for things like HD-RUMBLE it's something new. And that wouldn't work on PC (because like I said nobody would buy this controller, or include that feature in their Game)

My dad pointed it out to me and quietly said, "Jane, look! That's the guy who made mario!" but 7 year old me wasn't too interested.

Theirs a lot of artists out their we don’t give enough credit to for the art they make, even the failed art pieces. But just because some people said it’s “a failed piece of art” doesn’t mean it’s true. It’s a learning curve, a sign of growth, and an insight into your mind. Now, since i allready beat the game and all is it worth it to spend 60$ just to play it again?

"It's a trend. And I try to avoid all trends."
That is why games aren't selling like they should be now, is because too many developers are doing what is expected of them by their fanbase via social media and message boards/forums on what games to create.

Many Nintendo employees might've once disagreed. Because of how tedious programming was in the 80s, it was said that the staff would feel fear when they heard Miyamoto's footsteps down the hall, because his perfectionist mentality meant that constant improvements to the level design and gameplay kept programmers busy with a lot of work under time constraints.

They almost second-handedly did it all. They may be the greatest and most successful companies. They invented countless classic games, and created one of the first consoles and created the kind of controller you see today with the NES in 1983, then Sega followed that, then you have the Nintendo 64 (one of the best early box-consoles), GameCube (some say better than PS2), Game Boy, DS (greatest hand-held), and Wii (first motion control).

@@TudBoatTed The Mega Drive is most likely their best console and it was known for more than just Sonic. It had great RPGs, beat 'em ups, and otherwise fighting games. SEGA also had some series before the likes of Nintendo's SNES/N64 and Sony's PlayStation, and even invented some. It was also famous for its advance D-pad and 6 action buttons. They started in arcades even before Nintendo and had some early home consoles, as well, and Sonic is really great and the best thing they did. Some would say Sonic is the best thing outside of Nintendo. But, Nintendo is clearly the best, but, SEGA did not 'suck'. That's just not true.

then when was it about to crash? (Because there was a video game crash in 1983 so at that point, people were mass producing arcade units that were about to lose all relevance. So it is rather incredible that Miyamoto made an arcade unit that sold well and was incredibly popular at a time like that.)

Take a look at Zelda Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Odyssey. Everyone can complete the story after some time. However these games still have so much content for players who want to become an expert in this game and can encourage players to continue on playing the game, even when the main story line is completed.
Most of the todays open world games are so huge that players are forced to play alot to end the main story but at the same time players have to do the same things all of again.
Nintendo found the perfect balance between in dept potential for a game, awell as people who just want to complete the storyline.

launching the nintendo switch is pretty much one of the best revolutionary moves that nintendo have made for mario and zelda, the other games were just the side objectives of it. Since nintendo didn't have the online presence like steam/valve, they couldnt just make another launcher since this guy hates online presence, what they did was to create a hardware and software which is a pretty genius move.
