  • A two day long slog in the Cairngorm national park/Am Monadh Ruadh to bag four Munros which include the 3rd, 4th and 5th highest mountains in Scotland. An overnight camp then a six hour return walk back through the Lairig Ghru the next day back to the Sugar Bowl car park.

I walked the very same route when I was lot younger and fitter - in one day. Very surprised to see that it was 22.5 miles.

Great film, absolutely fantastic. Made me want to do it again, until I remembered how sore my legs were! Great photos in there too. You got a great morning up at the Bothy and some brilliant light on the summits...maybe i'll do it in reverse :)

I had to take a look at the Braeriach Peter after your mention and so came on over. I knew it would be here. And what an amazing walk. I mean that - I couldn't take my eyes off the entire route. It was epic, which ever way you looked. I was mesmerized by the folds, the lay of it and the geology. The Cairngorms are a must visit. Thanks Peter you did well with all them Munros and the descent. Good going. Well, all the best. Mark P.S just realized this is my second view - well worth it.

Great effort Peter. Still Braeriach to do, did the other 3 from the Linn of Dee. Camped on the bealach between the devils point and cairn toul. When I was up Sgor Mor a few weeks ago a few walkers turned back at the bealach above Corrour Bothy due to snow (cornice). Stunning area mate. The devils point is just dwarfed. Great vid. Cheers

That was a great hike Peter, no wonder you slept ok in your tent after hiking for 14 hrs. That bit that took you two hours to walk round looked a lot closer than t actually was, I've come across bits like that before where you think I will be there soon and it never ends. Lol, That cloud was something else, I've never seen a cloud like that before.

Awesome views Peter, snow descents looked dodgy but I bet they looked even steeper when you were actually going down them. Your fitness/recovery levels to do this are something I covert lol. Glad you rested well. Still not been around these parts they look true monsters :) Tim
