Cheers ma man :) Aye it's a great wee hill no far from Glasgow and has no bad paths with cracking views on a good day. Even they mad flies couldnt spoil it (much) lol. Thanks maate take care, peter :)
Awesome day Peter. I love days like these with the skylarks and the stillness. It certainly looked different to your winter jaunt up. That was probably cracking as well. Good going mate. Another tap of the trig. Mark
Hey Mark cheers mate :) Aye it was very different saw the best ever november sunrise on the winter one but it was bloody baltic at that summit though ha ha! Yeah the silent stillness seems like another planet well worth the midge attck on the way down worst i have ever had!! But apart from that it's a great hill quite a famous one for religious stuff like the Beltane Ritual.
Your channel is becoming one of my go to places for ideas for great walking locations Peter. You always seem to pick beauties and this one delivers once again. Thanks again 👍
Thanks :) Yeah that hill is usually mobbed thats why i was there about 5am-ish i think was back at the car park around 10am. Aye its some hill one of the better ones in that area with amazing views all round. Thanks for watching and commenting Alistair or maybe Douglas dont know who ha ha! and take care. peter :)
Aw'rite peter oot n a boot again bud. Looking lush this time of the year. Lovely bit of country round there. Hope your doing ok bud. Another fine effort Peter keep them coming bud. All the best.
Cheers Sinclair aye it's nice over there very underated part of Scotland i would say some really great hills and beautiful lochs to explore. Thanks for watching mate hope all is well in your neck of the woods big man, peter :)
Cracking atmospheric views with the clouds Peter, looks a fine hill. 5 weeks and I'm back north for a couple of weeks, can't wait to get on The Munro trail again. Take care bud. Mick.
It was lovely Mick the views were great yesterday morning and the low cloud made for some nice still photos. Look forward to the films you make when your back up Mick. All the best mate, peter.
Aye it was great Andy very lucky with the low cloud made some good still photies from it. Bloody flys/midgies were mental though especially on the way back down. But even that didnt spoil it (much lol) Cheers Andy hope yer well mate, peter.
Fantastic channel for information and guidance! This particular Corbett was my first, although not my favourite because of how hard it hits you from the start 🤣 Keep up the fantastic content man 👏
Thanks Christopher yes i know what you mean steep paths straight away then you get out the woods and see even more steeper ones in the distance but it makes the touching the summit even more rewarding :) My first Corbett was The Brack over in the Arrochar Alps that was even more steeper but you are up in no time. Thanks for watching and commenting all the best, peter.
You are very welcome man. Me and a friend battered out Geal Chàrn (Monadhliath) on Sunday and thankfully because of your video we didn't get lost at the beginning or go the wrong way. All the best to you as well man!
School boy error with the batteries mate. 😆 Everything is lush and green at the moment and a braw inversion too. 🌳 I was expecting to hear that music on this one. 😁
Spectacular inversions views! I did this hill 2 weeks ago and there was nothing but low cloud from about the switchback in the path up to the top. The worst part is it looked like it had all cleared by the time I was at the bottom. I guess I’ll just need to do it again one day.
Thanks David yeah i was well lucky today right place right time for a we change. Had what you got many a time nothing worse especially when you pass people that are heading up and they are the ones who get the good views! Sometimes starting early is no a great idea lol!
Nice one Peter. Some epic shots near the end there with the cloud floating around. I can only imagine what it would have felt like leaving those batteries though! :D I'll need to make a checklist or something since that 's the kind of thing that'll happen to me one day :D Cheers! Kris.
Cheers Kris yeah i was lucky with the low cloud looked great as long as there isnt too much its perfect and makes for great still photos.
