Och, I did enjoy that, Peter. First went there in 1960. Learnt to ski in Coire Cas and The White Lady. Just a tractor tow. Stayed at Loch Morlich lodge. Had to carry the skis up the rough track before the road was built to Jean's Hut, in memory of a lady who fell from a snow cornice. And the skis were wooden! Been back a few times since cmpleating the Munros, but not as often as I'd have liked living doon south. Magic place.
Hi Geoffrey. I would have loved to have seen the place before all the concrete . Ski slopes aye ok but some of the other stuff nah! I once met an old man who moved to New Zealand from Scotland and he was telling me what the place was like in the late 50's and early 60's. Thanks Mick aye it was good one really enjoyed it. Was struggling to stay awake heading up the A9 and was mental driving back down as we had a heavy dose of thick fog after Perth and it was bad in Glasgow too the M8 was bumper to bumper was nuts!! HAve a good Xmas big man take care mate, peter.
That was so good Peter. With a sprinkling of winter and sunshine you could stroll to your hearts content enjoying the tops and valleys as you did so. Fantastic views up there and how awesome was that to see the Lairig Ghru from above. I always see it from down below in other peoples videos. Yeah, a good walk from start to finish. I enjoyed that guy on the ridge. Mark

Always good in the gorms Peter, bloody sun lol. Yeah another reason I take poles incase I slip. Cairngorms 6th highest I had a great winter camp up there. Decent day for it, hope you got car back as good as new. Great views as usual.

Was a great day for it Colin. Very strange that i was feeling hot winds at a high altitude while it was about 1c in the car park. A hill walker explained to me that it was a "temp inversion" first time i have heard of that sort of thing :) Have a good Xmas Colin and thanks for watching, peter.

It's not an area I know well, though I've heard there are some good climbs and scrambles up Lurcher's Crag. A great day to be there - Saturday was beautiful! Back to winter today. And have a great Christmas and New Year!
I have heard of people scrambling up there but it looks mental think i will give it a miss ha ha :)) looks a steep one. Aye saturday was perfect couldnt miss the chance of getting out. I'd wondered if you were ok as it's been a while since your last video.i think the reindeer in the cairngorms are the ones that respond to a call and come down the mountain for feeding.loved the view at 11.30 and the summit is just amazing.how many munros left in the cairngorms for you now? i'm guessing it wont be many.hope you are well peter
