Absolutely, had mine in same spec since November, seriously disappointed by no vision update .
3 months....still no news of updated in tesla vision for parking assist

@@FaizAly Best of luck and have fun driving your new Model Y P. I opted to get the LR Model Y which has 330 Mi range. I sold my Model 3 performance which was great but I didn’t want more performance than it already has and the performance models have tires that may look great but are about 2” from the ground. I have chewed up about 5 tires on the infamous potholes of Atlanta. I opted for the LR since it has the 19” Gemini tires, which supposedly give the Y a softer ride. Finally I ordered solid black since I didn’t want to have another white Tesla that you see everywhere. I had a pearl white Tesla before which I had to pay extra for. Good paint and the metallic application is very nice.

The round cut out on the 'passenger' seat would be utilised for the UK for instance along with a steering wheel removal kit to move it to the other side ....

Honestly the model y is one of the smoothest, nicest cars I’ve driven.
Just ordered one. I think it looks sharp in white and the black wheels and trim.

Great video! Been thinking snout getting one. As everyone of us the quality control over time has gotten better. However how was your experience at pick up, did it check off all the QC checklist when driving off the lot , or any issues thus far ?
Thank you Raul! My experience was pretty great. I checked thoroughly and quality was good and no issues. There very ever so slight panel gaps, but nothing noticeable at all!
My 2023 was flawless, but you might want to grab a 2022 MYP since they have the radar sensors and passenger lumbar support

I wonder if there is a product or way to add door pocket carpet to 2022 MYP?
Tesla app now recommends 80% charge for my 2021 MYP (used to be 90%). Oh and I would go only with a MYP because of the factors you mentioned. Also I swapped out the 21" wheels to 19" wheels a square setup and increase the range slightly but compensates while driving spiritedly!
Do you have any comments on the suspension?
Does the model Y performance come with the red brake covers or is that something you added? I’m waiting on my order for the Y performance…I’m so excited 🎉

What tint percentages did you use on the windshield and throughout the Y? It looks awesome!

Georgia Tint Laws For SUVs and Vans
Below are the laws on how dark you can have your tints:
Windshield: Non-reflective and any tint shade is allowed on the top 6 inches of the windshield.
Front Side windows: 32% VLT darkness or more.
Back Side windows: Any darkness / VLT% can be used.
Rear Window: Any darkness/ VLT% can be used.
Below are the laws on the types of tint reflection you can legally have:
Front Side windows: No more than 20% reflective.
Back Side windows: No more than 20% reflective.
Other restrictions: red and amber not allowed
Georgia Window Tint Law Fines
You can be fined up to $1,000 for illegal tint and installments. The code states: “Violation of the law is a misdemeanor. It is punishable by a fine up to $1,000 or up to 12 months imprisonment.”
Sounds like one of the stronger fines out there?

Trust me when i tell you, the MYP is PLENTY fast. You'll smoke anything on the road outside of some supercars and other tesla performance models lol
I have the Model 3 Performance lowered with Mountain Pass coil overs and zero g wheels. Just picked up a Model Y Performance for my wife. The Y drives differently which surprised me since they share so many parts. The Y feels more truck like than what I was expecting.

@@FaizAly Faiz, I believe that it is all just political wrangling and the much tougher safety and emissions standards that passenger cars have to meet. We have no tailpipes here, but utilities are cheaper to manufacture and they sell for more money because that's what the market has allowed. It's no surprise that Tesla has been saying from Day One that the Model Y will outsell the Model 3 even though the Model Y costs more. It does seem that Tesla has endowed the Model Y with a level of passenger car safety, but I don' trust the major manufacturers. Sorry, my answer didn't have much to do with Phillip's question, I just get triggered by this subject.
Great review. I have two questions.
1). How much lower is the Performance model vs Long Range? I live in an area with snow and ground clearance is a consideration.
2). What’s the comparison between the Long Range with performance upgrade vs Performance model with respect to;
a), range? And b), 0-60 time?

Hi Sven! The Performance is 18mm lower than the Long Range. The range for Long Range is 330 miles w/0-60 of 4.8 seconds, while Performance is 303 miles of range and 0-60 of 3.5 seconds

So the Perf is just a little lower but recognizable if you’ve got a sharp eye.
If you buy the performance boost (~$2k?) for the LR what 0-60 time do you get?
Also, If you were to put aero wheels (19”?) on a Performance model could you achieve the same range as a LR?
I’m just trying to understand the differences and decide which one I’d prefer.

I heard that the 2023 model y performance will have a little softer ride compared to prior MYPs. Do you notice a difference in ride quality? Thanks!
To be very honest I didn’t find that big of a difference. The 2023 is extremely similar to the 2022. What I did notice is the noise of the car is drastically reduced

No, there are not major differences between the 2022 and 2023 models.

Tinting the windshield is illegal in so many states.
Depending on the percentage of the tint. Each state has different regulations on how much you can tint the glass

Great video. I dont agree however that the performance model and "all the rest" model Ys practically look the same. You cant even compare the performance with the long range or standard as far as the exterior. The performance is a good looking car while the other two are among the ugliest looking cars on the road today. The proportions are just soo off. Btw, Im expecting my Berlin made performance quicksilver any day now.
Thanks Christian! I said they are similar but also noted all the differences the Performance has in comparison to the long range …carbon fiber spoiler, performance wheels w/red calipers …all things that make the Performance look sportier

No mention of build quality which is the biggest problem with Teslas...
I agree build quality has been a concern with Teslas, but I think it’s been hyped up to be a bigger issue than it really is. I have owned a 2022 Model X for 6 months. No quality issues. Even with this Model Y, with full detailed inspections, no issues. Even with my friends who own new teslas no build quality issues
i agree with most but good looking, no. Model 3 looks better.
Sadly 303 is a lie. I charged my performance why on a recent trip to 100% at it only reached 293. Do I have any options with Tesla to complain about this gross clearly gross exaggeration.
There is a hype about Tesla cars just because there is no competition worthy of. But they will come… hopefully.

I got to the part where you said you “tinted the front windshield” and you lost me and your credibility. Such a dangerous thing to do and I am surprised you can get the car insured.
I go it done by one of the best in the business, XPEL. I full trust them and their track record
I ceramic tinted the windshield on our RV and it changed everything....how is this "dangerous"??
Are you telling me driving at night with a tinted windshield is not dangerous and provides the same visibility as it does without tinting? If so then all good, but I doubt it does.
Tesla vision is a downgrade from the 2022 radar.
No tint on the front window has nothing to do with the manufacturer, if you’re going to review cars at least do a small amount of research

Yep, they must be blind and dumb
