Make sure you push in the center of those wheel covers, or they start to disengage from the wheel. The center needs to click in too. At least it was that way for my 2021 M3 factory aero wheel covers.

I don't see how they are going to do this without installing at least an additional forward-facing camera. I hope I'm wrong. With the way Tesla is treating customers that bought cars in December, it seems just as likely that they will just forget about us.
I loved the sensors and miss them, too. Other owners complained that their sensors had error messages and pricy to fix, so maybe this is why Tesla removed them. 😢
What about spray painting the existing wheels to black? I think they might work well since there are several spray paint that can last for a long time.

Nice video and presentation. Watch out the mud flaps here. The design enables debris and sand to trap in an OPEN pocket between the flap and the wheel well. So look for one design that has a closed pocket.

in Australia, tesla installs the mud flaps before delivery. No one does install mud flaps on their own in Australia lol all car manufacturers do it law.

I got matte black color which offer better contrast on midnight silver mode l Y. But if your Model Y is not Black or midnight silver I would go with metallic gray which offer more of the actual alloy wheels look with metallic finish on it. Thank you for watching! I tried and reached out to the brand. As the time of this video released happened to be the same time as Chinese new year in China therefore all of the factories and suppliers in China were closed down for a few weeks. Changing the wheel covers is good but it changes your mileage so I haven't done it yet. Not sure if it matters too much or if maybe change them back for road trips...?

The foot gas pedal is crazy hard to get on - definitely soak them in hot water like you said. They did send pedals that look slightly different than yours. There is no on or off words on the pedals.
Hmmm - i didn't know there was a choice. But, yes after I tried for a long time my husband soaked it in hot water and used a screwdriver to wiggle that thing on. Also, I got a ceramic leather protector. You might like this - It's a huge help to save my white seats from jean marks and other stains. Did Tesla have 7 seat option when you order it? If they did you can call your Tesla advisor to update your order and change to 7 seat but it will taker longer to get. Looking at getting a Model Y in gray. I was told that the colour get scratches that are very easy to see and was suggested to put an extra special coating over it for protection. Anybody who has experience if this is correct?

I don't see how they are going to do this without installing at least an additional forward-facing camera. I hope I'm wrong. With the way Tesla is treating customers that bought cars in December, it seems just as likely that they will just forget about us.
I loved the sensors and miss them, too. Other owners complained that their sensors had error messages and pricy to fix, so maybe this is why Tesla removed them. 😢

What about spray painting the existing wheels to black? I think they might work well since there are several spray paint that can last for a long time.
You can definitely do that too but the OEM covers still don't cover and protect your rims.

in Australia, tesla installs the mud flaps before delivery. No one does install mud flaps on their own in Australia lol all car manufacturers do it law.

What colour wheel covers did you get? Matte or metallic?
I got matte black color which offer better contrast on midnight silver mode l Y. But if your Model Y is not Black or midnight silver I would go with metallic gray which offer more of the actual alloy wheels look with metallic finish on it.

I placed my order for floor mats, but haven’t received anything, the shipping seems insanely long wait, be aware!
I tried and reached out to the brand. As the time of this video released happened to be the same time as Chinese new year in China therefore all of the factories and suppliers in China were closed down for a few weeks. They just opened up towards last week of January and start producing and shipping again. That’s what caused all of these delays.

Changing the wheel covers is good but it changes your mileage so I haven't done it yet. Not sure if it matters too much or if maybe change them back for road trips...?
I don’t think it’s affecting the range that much but if you want the full efficiency for the road trip then you can always change back to stock covers.

You can use any charger. You don’t have to use Tesla charger only. But I would install 240v outlet for level 2 charging at home because 110v outlet is way too slow and it won’t charge your car up overnight.

The foot gas pedal is crazy hard to get on - definitely soak them in hot water like you said. They did send pedals that look slightly different than yours. There is no on or off words on the pedals.
It took a me a while too but you will get it in. I believe there are 3 options for the graphics on the foot pedal. Didi you choose the right one?
Hmmm - i didn't know there was a choice. But, yes after I tried for a long time my husband soaked it in hot water and used a screwdriver to wiggle that thing on. Also, I got a ceramic leather protector. You might like this - It's a huge help to save my white seats from jean marks and other stains. Did Tesla have 7 seat option when you order it? If they did you can call your Tesla advisor to update your order and change to 7 seat but it will taker longer to get. That’s how they do it here in US.
But if they didn’t have that option at all then nothing you can do.

Just wondering, is there a reason the wireless charger is needed? Doesnt the Y have 2 in the front console?
First, MagBak wireless charger provides faster charging than Tesla wireless chargers.
Second, This wireless charger is in your line of sight so you don't have to pick your phone and read text or facet time if you really have to.
Third, 8 of out 10 times I would forget my phone on Tesla charger when I leave the car and my car will be unlocked the whole time because my phone id still in the car. So with this charger, it's right in front of you and you won't forget it when you leave your car.

The screen protector mostly pro from your finger prints and glare. But sometimes it could protect from other objects too. I just accidentally chipped the display but because of screen protector it just chipped screen protector instead.

Looking at getting a Model Y in gray. I was told that the colour get scratches that are very easy to see and was suggested to put an extra special coating over it for protection. Anybody who has experience if this is correct?
I might silver is probably the least color that would show any scratches.
