Having used one I can say that taking video as well as high brightness on 5G you can see the battery drain. As this is a camera phone mainly, its USP, then MKHD represents the user profile far more than those working in an office on wifi playing YT reviews! The former will get 4hr SoT and the latter will get 7-8Hr. So it is simple, work out how much video/photo work you do outside and whether you are 5G or wifi and you will get a number between the two. Mine is closer to MKHD during the week but at the weekend closer to The Verge!

Honestly I think reviews that show how they dropped/broke the phones are sus. It creates this shifty open-ended narrative. Porcupines aren't slippery and you can still drop them. Also, the video on these phones looks way better than most of the reviewers are giving it credit for. The default pov is that iPhone video is better, but at this point it just feels like an easy bullet point to hit to attempt to draw contrast between devices rather than something that anyone will actually be affected by or even care about.

I like that phone even more cause of the 90Hz display and Soli which I used everyday. I did wish the would've kept the RFS too as a 2nd means of security. The speakers were nice but FFS like the 2 XL are always better. The battery life was the only downfall though. Once you go high refresh rate you can't go back though.
