    Were the microphones improved?… One reason iPhone has been better for video, etc. is because it has stereo mics.

    • @AnanyaGupta
      @AnanyaGupta 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      iPhone video recording has been significantly better than Pixels - not just because of mics but at everything and the sad thing is that they didn't even mention video.

    • @Klust413

      @@AnanyaGupta Actually they did mention video in the context that the Tensor chip would allow them to do more processing while recording video to get closer to the processing that's been highly regarded in their pictures.

      @@Klust413 yet they didn't feel that one hour was enough to show a 5-minute clipped segment on something they've sucked at for a decade. No one need to hear awkward Rick go on for that long... Don't they have a phone to sell?

    The AI is pretty impressive, I must say... and I am an Apple user. Siri is pretty tone-deaf in comparison (specially the German version).

    • @M3thodbombz
      @M3thodbombz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Siri was the cream of the crop when she first debuted cause there was nothing else like it. Now it’s a joke. The google assistant is leaps and miles ahead of every virtual assistant. I want iPhone hardware with google software. I’m trapped into using an iPhone honestly because of iMessage. It’s sad. All my friends and family use iPhones so sending pictures and videos and files when I was using older gen pixels was such a god damn hassle. And even more sad, apple wants it that way while google wants to create a bridge.

    I don't like the redundancy of the clock of Material You and the clock in the status bar. I hope the status bar can be hidden.

    Google needs to study Samsung on how to copy Apple. I thought the presentation was decent but nowhere near as polished as a Apple presentation. Also the presenters were lacking personality.

      I’m glad other people are saying this. I admit I’ve never watched a Google presentation until now but seriously this seems like an “alternate timeline” Apple presentation.. the graphics, poses, even the cadence of their voices and phrasing sounds exactly like an Apple event just slightly “off” it’s super weird/unsettling to me.

      LTT had a brief video about the phone and although they couldn’t say anything because of the embargo it didn’t come off as he was super excited and couldn’t wait to put up the review. To me it sounds like it’s underwhelming but maybe it was just good activity.
