We got to the condo I rented for the weekend we were going to stay at until we went to her parents house. I was exhausted from the plane trip and fell asleep soon after we arrived at the condo. Everything seemed like it was going great. She had never asked me for money. She even offered to buy things for me. However, when I woke up, she was gone and so was all my money. Now sitting here trying to figure out what I am going to do when I have to check out tomorrow.

Hey Mike this message could not be repeated enough. Just got back from meeting my LDR from last 8 months and she is definitely my unicorn. Seeing her in person and spending 3 weeks with her solidified our status. She has never asked for money, I have offered and she refused until I forced it on her and it was essentially only a few dollars. She is a proud Filipina and hard working her own business. I cannot wait to retire in the next year and spend more time with her to verify our compatibility so we make a life together.
If she can't purchase her own load to find her future husband then surely she is not the one. Any woman that ask money directly or indirectly is an immediate block.
I guess I had the experience . Met Gemma on line took one look at her, came to the Philippines after one month and been together 8.5 years she is a working woman which is one you have to find nearly 60 now .. Never asked for money, very loving and caring as she is a child care worker and is one person which would be very hard to find like her ..
Mike, I listen to you tube videos daily. I believe today that you presented the most comprehensive well spoken video on LDRs. Keep up the good work and I wish the best for you in life.
I was told about this by you and several others. I have been very careful with the ladies I have been speaking with. A friend of mine and his Filipina better half researched several of her friends that she thought would be interested and right for me. The one that I finally clicked with was told that I am not wealthy but I am a good person. What shocked me was that after we had talked for awhile she asked me if I needed money for my phone. WOW!! She has even asking me what size my clothes are and she bought me different items and sent them to me. She is working as an OFW in Malaysia for 13 years in the healthcare industry. Her parents and most of her family know of me and accept me. She wants to move back to the province where she grew up and keeps telling me I will not have to worry about anything. I know it sounds strange and I can’t believe it has happened this way. I am so glad that I was able to learn from you, Janet and a few others. She has already paid for my ticket and I’m going to be there in March. She has told me that she wants to meet to be able to meet the people who told me about what to look for in Filipina. Have a blessed week.
You are an anomaly as here in the Philippines almost every ldr sends money. Yesterday I watched a lady talking to her ldr on the video chat while we were in a small coffee shop in a small town. Her husband was a few tables over playing with their 2 year old son. I will say the boy had on the nicest hiking boots I've ever seen, at least for here in the province of the Philippines 😉 😂😂😂 The old saying still holds true. "A FOOL AND HIS MONEY ARE SOON PARTED". One of our favorite past times here is watching old fools loose their money then listening to them 20:57 whine about it. Honestly it never gets old, I bet I hear the same sob stories at least once or twice a week about old men loosing quite a lot of their savings or their whole savings. Don't get me wrong there are a LOT of very happy, very successful relationships here also. A huge factor to consider might be if she looks like a professional, she probably is. Fun for a short time and like a vehicle you probably will be having trouble sooner or later, no sooner for sure. Then some guys just trade her in for a newer, younger, prettier model and so the cycle continues 😂😂😂.
Yea, absolutely correct, wish I knew this 7 years ago when I moved here. Gold digger I lived with my first 4 years robbed me 4,000,000.00 at the end NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT because of pH laws are 50 y behind monkeys. Now doing better than before, gorgeous Philippina is by my side who can care less about money.
Respectfully disagree with online dating. We're not used to these women and don't understand their level of poverty , plus the fact that most of us feel lonely and are vulnerable. It's just best to meet in person or by recommendation . Never the less this guy is on point with how they will play you. Proceed with caution, fellas. Play at your own risk
@stateofmind4341 Disagree, If you don't have time (only have a 2 week vacation) you can look for ladies online first, I did when I was 49. There is a lot of online scammers but you pretty much have to beware of these scammers. Don't fall for the first girl you talk to. Maybe I got lucky meeting my Filipina wife online, but it is a great place to meet someone. You can set filters for age range, kids, married, or height. Worked out great for me...just sayin.
Hey Mike, Pete, again. Besides they’re wanting to move to a nicer place, beware of them saying, they found a great piece of land, to build a house, or, there’s a great “BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY!!!”
Excellent advice Mike. But unfortunately many men will say, "But My Girl Is Different". Some even boast, "I Never Pay For S3X" I'm living here in Thailand. What you say applies equally here. Many men say "It Won't Happen To Me" .... I've seen many men buy Cars, Condo or Gold Jewelry. It never ends well like the dream. Protect your Retirement Funds. Be smart. Trust and Verify. What's the big hurry? Live together for 3-6 months. Then make your decision. A good girl will always be a good girl. An easy girl is one who makes bad choices her entire life. No amount of money can solve that problem.
I've had people and seen TH-cam couples sit there and tell me that theirs is different and that they've never been asked for money, yet the male is paying all the rent, bills and buys the groceries and pays for the dates. Of course she hasn't asked for anything. She doesn't need to. She's already won the lottery. You've taken her out of poverty and straight into the cushy life of the middle to upper classes. If you're dating someone 10-30 years younger than you they're not with you for your looks and personality. It's the money.

I had a girlfriend there for a few years and even came there to spend time with her and her family $$$$. When I got back to the states we chatted online and there was this guy a little close to her and I saw him in a lot of our chats so I asked who he is and she said it was her brother lie number 1. Her sister is a catholic nun and she knew I was her boyfriend and how I helped her out a few times and planned to bring her to the states. The nun sister contacted me to let me know she had a boyfriend living with her so I dumped her and wasted a few years of my time. They are not much different from American women. I might return just to get out of the cold winters I get but plan to spend time in Vietnam and other nearby countries. So to end this ,,, don't believe everything you hear.

Emotional Connections come from within, and for most men you either feel it or you don't. With this last one in Iquitos, I was never connected emotionally 100%.
I’ve dated a lot of women in Thailand and PH. In Thailand I would say about 80% of women play these games and in PH it’s reversed, maybe 20%. I think the difference is that it’s easier to find a woman with a good job in PH. When you first start dating the topic of why you broke up with your last gf is your opportunity to tell her that you’re looking for a partner and not a beggar. Once the asks start trickling in is the sign to move on because they’ll just start coming at you like a fire hose.
You can find almost everything about the Philippines (laws, cultural dynamics, social dynamics) by doing desk research before you even visit the Philippines

I've been in situations you're describing, except I saw it coming. That's why I'm so fortunate to have met the woman who became my Wife! ❤️ She was an independent person who never asked me for anything, except my time, attention and Love. But my Wife isn't typical
I picked-up on the "too quick I love you" with my previous relationship from someone in Iquitos. I learned how to ignore those "subtle need stories". One time early on she even went so far as to say "only a good boyfriend would buy a cellphone for their girlfriend" "like my friend, her boyfriend bought her a new phone" Apparently I am "tacanyo" " a cheap person" for not doing it. Indeed, I allowed this quasi-relationship to carry on far too long.
I just tell her I’m watching videos about Filipina romance scamming foreigners. If she’s not scamming me, then she has nothing to worry about. If she is then she’ll probably stop talking to me. Win for me. Save my money and my time.

There is no difference in the woman money factor from the Philippines to Malta, USA, Brazil where ever. You mite get scammed or meet the love of a lifetime. It's pretty simple , it's human nature to want stability. Like here in the USA I lost half my stuff twice! I send 30 to 40 k pesos when I'm back in USA. I will be back in cebu 2 weeks. I guess I'm the lucky one. I lended 80k to my Filipinas brother last year he has paid back half so far . I'm with good down to earth people. Good luck to the dating pool 😊
It is tough to find the right girl online and have a LDR (long distance relationship) but it can be done. Didn't decide to go to the Philippines until I knew had met the right girl online. But met my wife after a 1 year LDR and came back to the US and filed for the K1 US visa. Waited the whole 3 months (you have 90 days to marry when bringing a foreigner to the US on a K1 visa) before marrying to hopefully make sure she was right for me and it worked out. Great advice Mike, thanks for this video....Jim

You can find a good one that asks you those caring things. But never ask for money. They can be found. But regardless, good advice. My wife also never had "problems or needs".
This is exactly how it happens. Even an honest woman that you've known for about 10 years will have a very similar situation but not so much inconsistency. Their kids need new clothes or supplies for school. They still need your support. And never ever talk with anyone without video calls. You need proof that they are real.
Best to come to Philippines and meet girl. If online chat travel to see her soon as possible like in one month or two your flying to her country. Online dating is a scam maybe 10% girls on dating site are sincere.
The genesis of 1st world men operating in a 3rd county is their mindset; they foolishly operate on a mindset of ‘scarcity’ and ‘undervaluation’. Men, there is an abundance of young, good and appropriate women available; and a new batch comes of age each year. Further, given you have the wealth to provide security’ and her choices decrease over time, it is you who are the ‘prize’ not the woman. Operate on a mindset of abundance and value and you can do very well with women.

This is great content Mike and I would say with very good information to take in. We all know there are scammers out there everywhere. Of course there are in the 🇵🇭, although personally I think the 🇵🇭 gets an unfair reputation about this. Guys are getting scammed throughout the globe just to name a few Caribbean Countries, Central & South America, Eastern European Countries, Africa and of course the good old USA! Then on another tip some guys out of their own ignorance give a girl a lot or all of their money or have a house build for her because they are feeling so much in love. Then when it doesn’t work out they claim they were scammed. They did it to themselves it’s not the girls fault. Thanks again Mike for sharing an absolutely great informative video👍🏾👌🏾👍🏾👌🏾!
Ha... So if I sell you a house, that I know the basement will flood, the electric will soon burn or there is asbestos in the ceiling ... its your fault because you fell in love with the house.? Sorry, that is misleading and fraud, the same applies to a scammer, Yes the girl is guilty, not the man.

I cannot wait to retire in the next year and spend more time with her to verify our compatibility so we make a life together.
great to hear. Time will go fast
If she can't purchase her own load to find her future husband then surely she is not the one. Any woman that ask money directly or indirectly is an immediate block.

Good evening mike again sorry about the wife's father. The death toll . from the storms this month is up to 25 right now. Have a great week
thank you
Which storms are you talking about? Did Mike's father-in-law die from a storm related incident? Thanks 😊
@richardhowe5583 he has been sick and the family knew the end was close.

Sorry for the death of your father-in-law my friend.. tell your wife and your son I am very sorry.. my condolences😢😢
Thank you so much Richard
Another quality video Mike, great content
Much appreciated!
Thats just stupid giving that kind of money to her family
I agree
Mike, I listen to you tube videos daily. I believe today that you presented the most comprehensive well spoken video on LDRs. Keep up the good work and I wish the best for you in life.
thank you David
100% correct. Gotta be careful…
Supporting a woman is kinda like gambling… never play with more than you can comfortably afford to lose…😂
good advice

@@toddfischer4853 I've always told "newbies" to the Philippines if you ever meet an honest Filipino their is just one thing to do - don't trust them!
Mike, great advice. However, I do not believe in sending money to someone that I have never met in person.
thanks LLL
You are an anomaly as here in the Philippines almost every ldr sends money. Yesterday I watched a lady talking to her ldr on the video chat while we were in a small coffee shop in a small town. Her husband was a few tables over playing with their 2 year old son. I will say the boy had on the nicest hiking boots I've ever seen, at least for here in the province of the Philippines 😉 😂😂😂
The old saying still holds true.
You're right
Yea, absolutely correct, wish I knew this 7 years ago when I moved here.
Play at your own risk
agree to disagree
@stateofmind4341 Disagree, If you don't have time (only have a 2 week vacation) you can look for ladies online first, I did when I was 49. There is a lot of online scammers but you pretty much have to beware of these scammers. Don't fall for the first girl you talk to. Maybe I got lucky meeting my Filipina wife online, but it is a great place to meet someone. You can set filters for age range, kids, married, or height. Worked out great for me...just sayin.

Hey Mike, Pete, again. Besides they’re wanting to move to a nicer place, beware of them saying, they found a great piece of land, to build a house, or, there’s a great “BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY!!!”
yes
No amount of money can solve that problem.
heard that many times
I've had people and seen TH-cam couples sit there and tell me that theirs is different and that they've never been asked for money, yet the male is paying all the rent, bills and buys the groceries and pays for the dates. Of course she hasn't asked for anything. She doesn't need to. She's already won the lottery. You've taken her out of poverty and straight into the cushy life of the middle to upper classes. If you're dating someone 10-30 years younger than you they're not with you for your looks and personality. It's the money.

An older man from a first world country comes to a third world/developing country and pursued a woman much younger. What could go wrong 🤷🏻♂️

But met my wife after a 1 year LDR and came back to the US and filed for the K1 US visa. Waited the whole 3 months (you have 90 days to marry when bringing a foreigner to the US on a K1 visa) before marrying to hopefully make sure she was right for me and it worked out.

This is exactly how it happens. Even an honest woman that you've known for about 10 years will have a very similar situation but not so much inconsistency. Their kids need new clothes or supplies for school. They still need your support. And never ever talk with anyone without video calls. You need proof that they are real.
