I was spending the night at my friends house I thought I hear something but I passed it off (btw I always keep a pocket knife with me just in case) and anyways then I heard a creek in the floor boards I knew it wasn’t my mind that time I slightly opened my eyes and saw a figure by the closet I slowly took my pocket knife out and I heard what sounded like a kitchen knife I stood up and swung the knife back and forth with my eyes close only to hear and agonized scream I turned on the lights and woke him up apparently it was his ex gf he never told me about it still haunts me to this day to think what she could’ve done (the gut feeling was for me to pull my knife out and start swinging it btw) but yeah that’s kinda it

I'm getting a kick imagining it from her perspective.
Some guy you just met and seems kinda cool invites you and your friends to a party. You go and start working the room having a good time, then out of nowhere he reappears and without warning or explanation takes you aside, and not 5 minutes later the spot you were just standing gets crushed.

When I was a baby, my mother was pushing me in a stroller at the grocery store with my sister along with her. She got this weird feeling and decided to head home. We lived close by, maybe 5-10 minutes away from the store, so they were walking home, my mom pushing me in the stroller. Before we get home my sister says “I feel like somebody is going to die.” And my mother said “don’t say that”. But when they got close to the house, two men were arguing out front on the sidewalk. One guy, visibly drunk, pushed the other down, and the other guy hit his head on the concrete and died instantly. The guy ran off but because my mom and sister were witnesses, they were able to identify the man and he ended up getting arrested. As for personal experience, one time I was walking across the street. A little voice in my head said “blue car” and I was confused by this. I heard the distant screeching of tires and some instinct told me to run. Just as I started running, a blue car spun around the corner at illegal speeds and flew past me. If I hadn’t run out of the way, the car would have hit and killed me. I remember feeling it woosh by, only a couple inches from my skin.

I can sorta “predict” death? Not really predict but in ‘16, Halloween night I was getting ready for Halloween and I started really sick. I didn’t want to leave. My parents made me go anyways. When I came home, I found my dog dead on the floor. He had a seizure. In October ‘17, I was just doing some homework or watching a movie and I got that same sick feeling. It was so bad I ended up throwing up. After I went downstairs to tell my parents my dad was there waiting for me. My grandpa died of cancer. In April ‘18, exact same thing, except it was 2 AM and I was meant to be asleep. I heard the phone ring, my mom answer it, and sobbing. My uncle died. Also cancer. March ‘20, I was feeling sick but didn’t throw up. Decided to check on all the rescue reptiles I own. Baby gecko, who had a parasite, died. I have bad luck....

I can sorta predict genders😅. No im serious. I predicted the gender of: my sister, my niece, the son of my uncle and aunt (im not english and i dont know how thats called), and of my friends brother and sister. So i never got one wrong. When its a boy i am dreaming that i am hanging with my friends like 2 weeks before the baby is born until the baby is born. When its a girl i am dreaming of being on a party with some girls...

I can also get feelings where as something pretty dangerous will happen. Like this one time, I was doing horse feed with my friend. I had this feeling that opening the new bag of feed would be weird. The bag from the inside didn’t look normal. We had to open a new bag because the one we were using was almost gone. When we opened it, half of the feed was all clumped up, moldy smell, very dangerous and toxic. I immediately knew it could cause colic to happen. I just felt a feeling that opening that bag wasn’t a good idea AT ALL. luckily, we had another bag. But I literally ran to the trainer and urged her to get to the feed room immediately because it was an emergency. We opened the other bag and it was all dry and clean, as it should be. Being at a horse camp can send off many alarms. Especially with being around big animals like that. I have a few more stories too, but this one was probably one of the worst ones. Something just told me that bag wasn’t going to be good at all. If we just ignored the fact it went bad, the horses would be in bad shape right now. Luckily we had that other bag. 😂 this is long

Once we had a criminal hiding in our neighborhood, about 15 cop cars and a helicopter were looking for him in full tactical gear. I told my wife exactly where I would hide if I were him, right over our wall between our neighbors house and garage. We didn't see him at all at any point but I told my wife I wanted to notify the police it's a place to check but she said not to open the door. 3 hours later they caught him in that exact spot armed and ready for a fight, no shoot out though since they Tasered him.

This is actually a story my dad told me. It’s about this time his family was heading home from the zoo, and he was just a child.
Apparently, after a fun filled day at the zoo, it had become dark outside. My family had to head home. They were alone on the road at night, and there were no other cars on the road. My grandpa had a sudden feeling that told him that he needed to change lanes. It didn’t seem like much, but he did so since they were alone. Then, suddenly, *a drunk driver came speeding down the wrong side of the road in the lane my grandpa was just in.* They were lucky to survive... If my grandpa didn’t change lanes, they would have been hit in a speedy head on collision, and would most definitely be dead. This is why I believe in guardian angels.

Here's a story always listen to your gut feeling:
One day I was home alone as my parents were going out on date night
I Wes sitting on the couch watching television as somebody knocked on the door
I got up to answer it was a middle-aged man he asked if my parents were home because he wanted to talk to them i told him no and they would be back later he smiled, then walked away about 20 minutes later another knock on the door happened so I got up to answer it i got this urge to put on the chain lock even though I never used it so I did I opened the door and it was the same guy he started trying to push open the door so I called the cops one of his hands were behind his back when the cops got there they found that he was hiding a very sharp knife behind his back.
If I wouldn't have listened to my gut then I wouldn't be alive right now so always listen to your gut (yes he got arrested)

Actually, I’ve seen a similar incident with a smaller child. I was at horse camp, watching 2 sisters ride together with my friend and the trainer. Now with one of the ponies they were using I thought wasn’t a good idea. They have been riding for a while, but I just didnt think right of it. I then got this gut feeling that something would happen. When I looked up from my phone, I see her on the rail cantering. He just took off with her. Like pretty fast. Of course she was going his good way, but his canter that way is powerful. More powerful than his bad way. The trainer literally threw her coffee and phone on the ground. Like slammed it on the ground and ran to her. Now this rider in particular didn’t do anything to stop him. And she was smaller so she had less control over him. The trainer told her that she couldn’t do that and she got off. Something just told me that her riding that pony wasn’t a good idea. I only got this feeling in the middle of her ride. She’s ok, but she can’t ride the pony anymore for a while. She rides the other pony, who’s more forgiving and is harder to make her go. Even the trainer said in the beginning she would try to see how she would do, but in the end, she said she should’ve listened to her gut. I’m sure the rider will work her way back up to him. But for now, the bigger and calmer horses. I just don’t get how beginners can ride that pony. Only if they are walk around with shadows. Only more experienced riders like me and my friends can ride him. Otherwise, he isn’t the best pony in the world. It’s just too weird how people can get these gut feelings. I especially get these feelings with younger kids. I just feel like they are so vulnerable to some occurrences. Trust me, riding a lazy, slow horse is better than riding a faster horse that knows it can get away with you during your ride. 😂 this is long

This didn’t really save anyone’s life, but once when I was 14, I was trick-or-treating with one of my friends and we stopped at a crosswalk. It was very dark out since it was Halloween night, and we watched a car come down the road. It’s lights were off, so I said, “That’s dangerous. They should have their lights on.” We were about to cross the street when there was a loud crash from behind us. When we turned around, the car without it’s lights on had smashed into a car that was trying to back out. One of the scariest moments of my life, as the crash was only a house behind us.

It was a nice day in spring and as soon as I woke up I had the gut feeling to not go to school in Florida. I was begging my mom with tears in my eyes not to go. She made me go anyway so I did I went to school and not even the second minute that class started we were informed of a school shooter just outside the building you could see him from my class window he was holding a pistol. Some stupid ass kids went up to the window to look he saw them and pointed his gun at us. He didn’t shoot. Instead he broke into the building and tried to shoot as many class rooms as he could several of my peers were shot. None killed. But many injured. As soon as he got to our classroom he tried to get in but just then the police arrived and right there and then he shot himself in the head... I’ve never seen so much blood in my life... I was in fifth grade.. I kid you not a grown ass man came to an elementary school and shot it up. This will forever be burned into my mind...

i was walking from from a friends house and it was around 2am and my house was a 15 minute walk away. see,i'm a tall 19 (at the time) year old male and i lived in a small village where i knew almost everyone and it had low crime rates so i never really felt paranoid or on edge when walking late at night alone but this one time i got a sudden feeling like i was being followed and i kept looking around and started getting anxious. this woman started following me when i was 5 minutes to my house and i had never seen her before..on top of that she was wearing an outfit you'd go to the club in or a party (short dress, heels, lots of makeup etc.) and the nearest club was 2 hours away in the town centre and there were no parties going on (we always knew what was going on because of how close everyone in the village was). this just made me even more anxious and i started to get a headache and feel sick etc. just then,my friend (who's house i was at before) called me and so i stopped, moved to the side and picked up. the woman briefly stopped but then continued walking. i then walked the rest of the way home still hella anxious and paranoid.
the next day i woke up to tons on facebook notifications about two teenage boys who went to the highschool in our village but lived in the next village over had been raped and murdered and were found an hour after i had encountered the woman. now this made me start to feel sick but i literally almost choked when a picture of the girl who followed me the night before taken from a cctv camera was posted on the group saying she was seen with the two men, unconscious walking into one of the empty houses, breaking in and then seen coming out without the men 20 minutes before they were found dead in that building. someone had called the police after waking up from male screams and the police searched cctv and found them.
sorry if it feels like i didn't mention some things or mentioned things twice or things don't add up. this was in early february of this year,

When I was about 6 or 7 my parents adopted a dog named Molly. She was a dauschund and probably the chillest dog I have ever met. She was always incredibly calm and stayed healthy aside from the typical back/tailbone problems most dauschunds experience. When I was around 15 or 16 (Molly would have been about 10 or 11 at this point, pretty old for a dog but not really close to an age where we were worried of her dying) we woke up one morning to see she had thrown up in her bed. No big deal, dogs do this sometimes, so we just cleaned it up and went to school. However, when we got home that day, we saw that she had thrown up two more times at different places in the house. Once we cleaned it up I started asking my parents if we could take her to the vet, but they refused saying that it was just a stomach bug and she would get over it. The next day she threw up again and I once again asked to take her to the vet to hear the same answer from my parents. The day after this, we woke up and she hadn’t thrown up and was acting pretty normal, so we seemed somewhat relieved. My dad however, being that he cares alot for our dogs, went home to check on her and saw she had had diarrhea in the bathroom (If we werent home to let her outside, she would do her business in the bathroom), so he cleaned it up and went back to work. At around 6:00pm that night I was in my room when I heard the most terrifying, blood-curdling scream I have ever heard my mom let out come from the kitchen. I ran in to see that Molly was throwing up blood on the kitchen floor, and then lay down next to it. We immediately rushed her to the nearest emergency vet to find out she had gotten diabetes and while she would have to stay overnight for treatment she would be fine and we could pick her up in the morning along with some medication she would need to start on. We go home and I fall asleep around 9, but am woken up abruptly at around 3 am to heavy commotion in the house. My mom bursts into my door and says “The vet just called and said Molly is going to die, we need to go now.” We all got in the car and we got to the vet about as fast as humanly possible. Sadly, by the time we got there, her heart had already stopped. Apparently that night she began breathing very heavily and her pulse sky rocketed and she was dead within minutes. While I dont necessarily hold a grudge against my parents for not listening to me as it did just look like a regular stomach bug, it does bother me that I felt what was coming and couldnt do anything to stop it.

Alayna Riley I dunno I experienced it a few times, but the most recent was these two drunk old men that drove into the gas station and cat called me. Their car was like so dented on one side and it looked like they just got out of a wreck and then drove to the gas station right after. I ran inside to pay for gas and then I came back out and started pumping. I hear the clicks of an empty gas pump, like the two dudes were trying to steal gas but weren’t having any success. The clicking got faster and I got the feeling of doom. I ran back inside and like spied on the two before I saw one take a literal gun out of their sweatshirt pocket and point it at the window I was standing in front of. I told the dude running the gas station to like hide and we hid in the bathroom for a little bit till we heard the screech of the cars tires. Like I was legit gonna get murdered if I didn’t run back inside and told the guy running the gas station at the time. Literally one of the worst panic attacks I have had

(i was young and didnt know how to swim) so i was about to fall off the light blue part but i had a feeling the dark blue part wasnt for me, and my gut told me to go back to the main beach. my brother who was a better swimmer looked under the water and told me it was a cliff that looked like it stretched 50 feet down and if i didnt feel like i should’ve gone back i could’ve drowned and i could be dead.

This one time I was walking my friend home we were about 10 at the time and had to stop halfway as my dad called me telling me to come home. I gave her a hug and said bye see you soon (we had school the next day) I was nearly home when I had the urge to run back and see her again so as I was walking home I had wrote on my phone.
Had this urge to run back be back soon dad! (I put my address too)
Turned it so it would stay on for ages and left it on the pavement (an old lady found it and gave it to my dad so he was about 5 minutes behind me) and I ran back to see someone following my friend I ran faster and kicked the guy on the back of his knees making him fall and shouted to my friend to run home. Turns out this guy was going to kidnap her.
In year 7 she started to bully me. Made me question why I had saved her.

There was an elevator in my school's library, right next to the stairs. I saw a girl walking into it and initially thought to rush in before it closed, but then decided not to be lazy and just take the stairs.
When I made it to the 2nd floor and started studying, I realized that girl never walked out of the elevator, and a few people, including a police officer, started gathering around the elevator door trying to get through to her trapped inside the elevator.
Not really life threatening, but still dodged a bullet there.

I was like 7 or 8, my mom was about to drive to the store and before she went she asked me if I wanted to come with her, at first I said yes, but paused and my heart dropped and said “No thanks I’ll go next time” turns out that car ride my mom got in a huge car crash and almost broke her spine, bruises and cuts all over her, and broke her wrist. If I went in that car, I could’ve died.

4 years ago, me and my family moved to another state and started finding a house to buy. the manager showed us one new house that looked good and my mom was really into buying it, but I just had a gut feeling that something was right in the air in that house, it just felt weird and uncomfortable somehow, I repeatedly told my mom that this house was not good and it's creepy and shit, she did not believed me but eventually got tired of my complains and decided to check another house that was fairly close to this one. 3 months later a family buy the house we were checking out and it turns out it was haunted and the family had to move out within a week because of all the haunted stuff that happened in that house. no one in that family was injured or close to death, but they claim that they heard screamings and voices in that house.

I had a similar experience! My family and I were looking at a house to buy. I didn't like it (of course, because I didn't want to move away from my friends). But when we went into the basement, I had a horrible and very odd feeling in my chest, like I was having trouble breathing. I immediately walked outside, and texted my friend about it because she's good with paranormal stuff. A minute later, my older sister said she also had a bad feeling about it, and was thinking it was haunted. My friend then replied to my text and said that it might be haunted. I texted her the address, and she looked it up and there have been multiple deaths and stuff within like 20 miles of that house. I now trust myself whenever I feel something isn't right.

Once my great grandmother was riding on a train in the middle of the desert in the middle of the night with her husband ( this was in the 20’s ) and got a strong feeling they needed to get off that train immediately. Being the strong opinionated person she was, she walked to the driver and said to stop the train immediately. The driver was mad and confused but gave in. Her and her husband walked for hours in the desert until she found a train station. They couldn’t get tickets..... because the same train she was riding 3 hours ago ran off the tracks and exploded. If she hadn’t been so stubborn, I wouldn’t have been here now.

When I was a freshman in high school about two and a half years ago, I lived in Parkland, Florida. I lived there my entire life, and then one day, my mom got a new job in Pennsylvania, and it paid a hell of a lot more than what she was working in Florida. We left florida on February 12, 2018. I didn't know why, but when we crossed over the Florida-Georgia border, I felt a sense of euphoria and relief. The day we had our tv and cable put in our new house I got bored and turned it on, and lo and behold the news was on... and it was about the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland Florida. I attended there. If we left a few days later, I would've been involved in it because one of the classrooms that students died in was right next to one of my classrooms that I would've been in at the time of the shooting. Luckily I was out of there just 2 days before hand.

it’s weird I thought I never had or understood a gut feeling until I actually had one last year...my cousin inviting me to go to her best friends party with her (which her best friend actually insisted too even tho I didn’t know her well) and I hesitated but said ok sure I’ll go, but a few hours I got this strange feeling and something suddenly told me to not go after all and I actually felt the “gut feeling” ...by the time it came around for us to leave I kept telling her nvm that I couldn’t go cause I wasn’t feeling good, she kept insisting and asked me a few times but I kept saying no that I needed to lay down for a bit. She was sort of mad but didn’t keep pressuring me and said she was going to pick up one of her other mutual friends (of her best friend) she hugged me, walked out the door and said “I’ll see you later, or tomorrow morning while i recover haha” after she left I actually did lay down and unintentionally fell asleep since it was late, a few hours later I woke up to my aunt screaming and crying hysterically and I got up quick and saw the police lights shining through the front window and my aunt on the floor, I asked my male cousin what happened and I’ll never forget the look he had on his face and looked me straight in the eye and told me my cousin had passed away in a car crash. After she picked up her other friend on the way to the party and let her drive, my cousin was the passenger and her friend was speeding and lost control, crashed into a telephone pole and the car split in half. My cousin was killed instantly and her friend survived but is paralyzed from the neck down...so that was my gut feeling and idk if I would’ve died that day or end up surviving but paralyzed like her friend but I guess I sort of saved my own life that day. I miss my cousin so much.

alright, here's a story that haunts me to this day.
When I was in 4th grade, we had 2 teachers that both had to leave due to personal reasons. They were both female and up until this point I never had any male teachers. Keep in mind, I was a little 9 year old girl, so I had no clue what assault of any kind was.
One day, I go to school and I place my hand on the classroom door handle, and immediately freeze. Like, physically stopped. I had this overwhelming feeling of dread and I had to calm my nerves enough to open the door. I get the courage the open the door, and I walk into the classroom. I felt my blood turn to ice. I look over at the teacher's desk to see what my sub looks like. He was a ~50ish man with graying hair, the cliche. He saw me walk in and freaking looked me up and down as if he were examining me, like some sort of mannequin. I immediately am more uncomfortable and bolt to my seat. I heard him do a little chuckle and return to whatever it was he was doing.
A few months later, we were taking a math test and I had forgotten about that odd feeling. I was always a straight-A student, teacher's pet, etc. I knew I would ace this test, and wasn't really there (I was zoning out). A few seconds later, I hear my teacher getting up from his desk and walking towards me, which wasn't unusual since he has to walk around my table in order to get to the rest of the room. But the feeling kicked up again, heightening my nerves and putting my guard up. The feeling got stronger. I pretended to be working on my test when I feel my teacher's breath on my neck. I heard him shift slightly and place his hand on my shoulder. My nerves are going haywire and I desperately want to run or scream or anything than stay still. I don't remember the rest of the day except he gave me an A+, when I missed one question. This is when he started favoring me more than anyone else in my class.
A couple weeks later, I'm still on edge whenever he gets within a 3 foot radius of me. 9 year old me still doesn't think that anything's wrong. My mom received an email from a different school saying that I got accepted into it. I was at my school ever since it opened, so I was really nervous about making the transfer. She asked me to go for two weeks minimum, and I agreed because I was 9 years old and didn't realize I had a choice. The day before I left, I told everyone in my class, but not my teacher. I assume he got a call since he knew about my leaving, but I'm still not entirely sure. I was really sad the entire day because I knew I wasn't coming back. He pulled me outside in the middle of class and told me,
"You know, we're *really* gonna miss you, kiddo."
"Yeah, I'm gonna miss you too."
He then put his hand on my cheek like he expected me to do to him, but I pulled away faster than I ever had. I bolted inside the classroom. A few hours later, I was no longer enrolled in that school.
I really do think I dodged a bullet that day. It terrifies me to think that people have endured a lot worse, and I was only lucky enough to get away so quickly. I don't know what happened to him, but it was only a few months ago that I realized that I could have been kidnapped or raped. I never told anyone, and I will now. Thank you for reading this. I'm sorry it's so long-

Felt like I need to share this.
2 weeks ago I was riding my bike (in the Netherlands so yeah) at a dark bike road. In the dark someone threw something at me to get me to stop. I didn't stop and kept riding my bike but eventually I turned around to see if I can find the one who threw it. I didn't want to go back to the spot where it happened because it was really dark and it felt a bit out of place.
The next day I see a police officer walking on that road and I tell him what had happened. I told him someone threw something at me in the dark and that it didn't bother me but it scared the crap out of me. Turns out the same evening as I was riding my bike there, someone got robbed and beaten up. So it was good I didn't stop.
Yesterday I was riding my bike in the same spot and decided to just not listen to my gut feeling and what happened the 2 weeks earlier because I am a stupid boy. It was really dark again and someone blocked the road there, at the moment I saw that they blocked the road I knew I was fucked. 3 guys came running out of the dark one with a stick started beating me and yeah that took all my shit, my phone wallet and a bottle of rum I had on me.
So yeah, listen to your gut feeling guys

Daniel Morcombe had been abducted by a man at a bus stop and nobody knew where he was. My mum used to pass by an old barn which was completely immersed in bushland when going to work.
Then all of a sudden, something clicks in her brain and she now knows two things that will later prove to be true.
Her brain tells her that Daniel Morcombe is behind that barn and that people won’t find him for a long time. Both of them proved true. However, no one believed her.

My gut feeling once was right, but I didn't act on it. I still regret not acting on it.
I planned a trip to a waterpark with all my friends, convinced everyone to go. But the day before we went to the park, I felt SO anxious. Beating heart, heavy breathing, depressed vibes, everything. It was extremely similar to a feeling I had had before the day a cousin of mine was murdered.
So I posted about it on Facebook. The post went like, "I'm very scared of tomorrow. I am having a very bad feeling about tomorrow, hope everything goes well"
Fast forward the next day, we're all chilling and swimming. A friend appears to be laid down underwater, peacefully. It was quite fucked up to say the least. The friend in question had posted on Facebook the day before, a meme of which the verbatim was, "I'm not dying anytime soon *wink*"
Oh well, you sorta did die Samiul :|

A few weeks ago when I visited my parents my mom said she wasnt feeling well because she had a stomach ache. She'd been eating unusually unhealthy in the past week because she visited her relatives, so a stomach ache shouldnt be that concerning, but I still had a really bad feeling about it and almost couldnt sleep that night. Even the doctor just said she had the flu without even examining her. I was sick with worry at this point. Three days later at 5 in the morning my dad called me, close to tears, and said she was at the hospital getting surgery because of her appendix and that the doctors said it was looking bad because it was discovered so late and she might not survive the surgery. I ran the whole way to my parents' house still half in my pyjamas. She's fine now thankfully, but if she had waited for another day (like the doctor advised her to) or even another hour, she'd be dead now.

Reminds me of the doctors near where I live. Before Christmas of 2019 my mum went to the doctors due to chest pains and struggling with breathing. She was given an inhaler with medicine for puenomia, after Christmas she went back to tell him that nothing changed and she can't sleep because she's scared that she won't wake up that's how bad her breathing was. Whenever she took a breath she would wheeze and then cough. It finally got to the point where I called the none emergency number (UK one) and told the operator her symptoms and her details and even then after I told the operator I'm worried that it might have something to do with her lungs and she has a history of blood clots along with my grandma also and her symptoms sounded a lot like blood clots in the lungs it still took the ambulance over an hour to arrive which pissed me off so much I ended calling the none emergency number again to ask where it was. When we got to the hospital she had an x-ray taken of her chest and it came back clear so they were thinking it was a chest infection but then she got taken away for a CT scan which showed both of her lungs covered in blood clots. The doctor told me that if I hadn't called for an ambulance my mum could've died that night due to how extreme the blood clots were. To think that she was feeling all this pain for a month and the doctor knowing her medical history with blood clots didn't think to send her for a scan pissed me off. Me an 18 year old girl with no medical experience knew what it was due to my friends mum going through the same shit. If I didn't have that feeling to call for an ambulance instead of just leaving it alone like my mum told me to she wouldn't be here right now.
      Sorry for the long story.

@@DwynTwo Yeah, it's been about half a month since she was discharged from hospital and she's getting better. I've even taken time of college to be home for her because she's still breathless and in her condition and with how the UK weather is at the moment with storm Dennis I'm walking our dog and doing all the chores so she doesn't push herself to much but every week she has a goal to see how much she can achieve without struggling for a breath. She's improving a lot, and believe it or not I made a rule for her to never see that doctor again. This isn't the first time he's done this, he wouldn't diagnose me with depression or anger management issues because I was a teenager so it was normal which is stupid. My mum is allergic to penicillin and she found this out a while ago and went back to say the tablets made her worst and he told her she was allergic and then tried to prescribe a different medicine which had penicillin in it. He's an idiot and shouldn't have a PhD. Thankfully the doctor we changed to is much better and didn't think twice before helping me with my mental health especially when she found out that it would affect my career if it wasn't sorted (I want to join the Royal Air Force).

I went to bed and the next morning she told me that a candle in the room we would have slept in had been left in causing the room to catch on fire. She stayed at my place out in a tent for a while. Kind of unrelated but Pretty recently I was home alone for a week (I'm 17) and one night I was up late studying in my living room, and I heard some noises coming from my front door, and saw shadows being cast under the crack, which is how it looks when someone is on the porch. No one knocked but I kept hearing shuffling and the shadows stayed there. So I acted quickly I went and grabbed my sword from my bedrrom and, turning the volume on my tv to the max, I blasted dark souls 3 boss music (Darkeater Midir if you want to know) and yelled at the top of my lungs while trying to make my voice as deep and mecaing as possible "get the hell off my property," as I also pounded on the inside of the door with my fist. I saw the shadows on my door disappear pretty quick and I gave it about 20 seconds to be safe, then I violently kicked open the door and stepped out on my front porch, sword in hand, still yelling a bunch of stuff like "yeahh that's right I can see you," and "I'm gonna cut you up" And twirled around my sword a bit, trying to look ready for a fight. Maybe that was a stupid thing to do but I'm proud of it nonetheless.

My bad gut feeling story doesn’t have a happy ending, but on Christmas Eve of 2018 my dog was really catatonic, she had gotten sick in the house all morning, and something woke me up at 10AM, she was out of it, when I laid down with her she was cold but breathing, frantically looking around until I laid with her. I called my mom and told her she needed to go to the vet immediately but my mom refused to listen she kept saying my dog was fine but she wasn’t. At 10:40 she drank some water, threw it up and then gave me a look, I called my mom again and told her what happened, much more frantic and then my dog let out this horrid scream, I’ve never heard anything sound like that, and she started doing this heavy breathing, I told my mom I was taking her to the vet, I grabbed two towels and lined the back seat of my car with them, but I started feeling sick myself and something told me to go inside immediately, I didn’t even close my car door or the door to my front house, the second I stepped into her view she stopped breathing. I watched the light leave her eyes.
Her stomach flipped. She was a rescue and she had a history of intestinal issues, she was only 5.
I have a hard time not blaming my parents because how were they supposed to know I wasn’t just over reacting and that she was dying? I blame myself for not doing anything sooner. I miss her more than words can describe

When I was in grade 3, I had this really bad and sick feeling and told my mum that I felt that way. She let me stay home that day, and I specifically remember it was a thursday.
Turns out that day some guy broke into the school two blocks down from my classroom. He was looking around the classrooms and seeing if there was anything valuable in them. Since all the classrooms cover the iPads and Macbooks with a blannet of some kind, he left about half an hour later.
And for some god damn reason we had a practice lockdown the next day when I went back.
Here's some bonus stuff from my horrible time at primary school:
Also a favourite hiding spot of mine in grade 6 was going under a desk near the door, covering my butt with a garbage can lid and the rest of my body with sport balls and sitting perfectly still.
I bet if we played hide and seek they'd take a while to find me, I was pretty well hidden.

I got a gut feeling exactly then and I said I’m coming with y’all. I left my weed (which I literally never done before) at the party with a friend, just because I felt like trouble was coming. We got outside and in the car. I was getting sure the gut feeling wasn’t a joke so I went back inside the home to ask for eye drops and I got eye drops for my homie and I so we don’t have red eyes. I told my drunk minor friend to give his nicotine to a buddy who is driving who is 19. The second we pulled off the driveway, a cop car randomly appeared behind us and followed us for 10 mins, pulled us over eventually, my homie driving didn’t drink neither did I, so we got no charges and my minor friend got a charge for alcohol but no nicotine charges or possession charges so I guess that’s my little gut feeling story lol. Also the house got raided by cops right when we got pulled over and they found my weed but never knew who’s it was lol

My body felt fine but I had a sense of just overwhelming depression settling in. My heart then skipped a beat, and started to fail on me. I calmed myself down, and did what I can only really explain as taking "manual control" of my body, and forced myself to open my mouth, breath, forced my lungs to work, and then forced my heart to beat, all the while not being able to move an inch in bed, not able to scream for help at 5am. I was only able to "will" my body to move and operate, not even able to close my mouth as I didn't have the strength to do so. I slowly, painfully managed to get my heartbeat steady, and then your usual "autopilot" kicked in and I started breathing without thinking about it. I continued to monitor myself for the rest of the day, but it's been a few years since the event and I'm doing perfectly fine. (I was 16 at the time)
Told my friends about it a couple months after it happened. Everyone grew really silent and fearful, I had to convince them I'm fine and it likely wasn't going to happen again. :^]

I’m a skier, ski in Maine all the time at this one smaller resort. Relatively small, but it had some really good terrain. My friends and I discovered this one area off the side of this mountain that is not marked, not mapped and fairly unexplored. I had looked at it on google maps, and skied near it so I knew roughly how it was laid out. For my fellow skiers, this is backcountry. Off the summit, there’s this one large clearing through the woods. Typically we’d ski along the top of the clearing and off to the side in order to head back the direction of the lifts. We were skiing that specific area at about 4:30, an hour until sunset. This area is on the west side of the mountain and I figured it would be well lit by the sun. We dip into the woods off the summit, ski 15 minutes down to the clearing. At this point I was skiing with my brother and father, me knowing the area the best, was looking for a specific route. I saw it, and offered to ski it, we were a bit hesitant, because it hadn’t been skied before. At once, my father and I looked at eachother and said, no I’m not skiing that right now. I said, I just don’t like the idea. We took the typical way down. Next day... out skiing the same area with my friends, we decide to ski the area that my father and I had decided not to do. We skied it, ended up in a series of 50 foot ridges. We had to hike up 7 of these and back down the other side of the ridge. We were doing this around 1 o clock. Got out around 3. If we had skied that the night before, we would’ve been stranded out in the dark, hiking, no lights, with all of the wildlife around (bears, some sort of mountain lion thing maybe). Possibly a deadly situation.

Not really a gut feeling but I was in a drive thru to get some coffee and there was a car in front of mine, they got their order wrong so they remade it, then I got my coffee and was on my way. I drove down one block and this car drove so fast around me, lost control of their car, crashed straight though a fire hydrant and telephone pole. They were going over 80 mph, it was reported they were drunk. If the coffee shop didn’t mess up the order of the car in front of mine, I would probably not be alive today.

I truly believe that the gut feeling we get in strange situations is God telling us to be aware and is protecting us since the gut feeling always end up being right all the time.

One evening, I was trying to catch my bus when I was going home from school. It was raining and dark, so it was hard to see. As I was crossing the street to get to my bus stop, there was this light that came out of nowhere. Something told me to stop walking, and as I did I saw a car speeding towards my direction out of nowhere. The car was only a few inches from me, and hit two people in front of me. If I decided to not listen to my gut feeling and took a few more steps, I would have been hit as well.

Several times in my life.. I feel like I have someone/thing watching over me..
First one was at a beach in Hawaii late at night that is known for huge waves and I wanted to take a pic. Got down near the shoreline and something started telling me in my mind to RUN!! so I did and a large wave crashed just where id been standing. I cant swim and could have died if id been dragged out.
Second one was in 2012.. I was shopping and got this weird feeling that I should go home ( yea.. me a habitual shopper wanted to go home) so I did. An hour later the riots in Croydon happened right where Id caught the train to go home.

I was walking home late one night from a friend's house, they lived down the street from me so it was like a 5 minute walk or less. I'm taking the normal route when I hear a voice in my head telling me not to go that way. I immediately turned around and walked back to my friend's house where I called my mom to pick me up. As we drive by the route I was going to take we see a pack of coyotes walking in the direction I was coming from. I truly believe I was being looked out for that day whether it be by my own consciousness or something greater than me.
