Scariest thing for me is: I was 9 yrs old. I was playing on my Xbox next to the front door. There was a knock. I looked outside and saw a guy in a hoodie. I live in a small college town in WNC. I turn off the light. I turn it on again. It freaking disappeared in 5 seconds. It was freaking 12 am. What person would knock at my door at midnight?

Back in 2016 I was at my friends house and my friend and I woke at 2:30 AM at the same exact time to the door banging. I asked "wtf if that?" and he looks out the window. He beckons me over, silent and pale as a damn ghost. I look out and see 3 clowns with bats trying to bust down the door (this was during the killer clown trends peak) and I said loudly "hey [friends dad] get the .45". Never seen the circus leave town so fast.

When I was nine,my parents moved us around so much. I hated it. But anyway,we moved into a very old farm house with very big rooms and each had a fireplace. We chose our rooms and settled in. One night my parents awoke to a shadow of a farmer holding a double barrel shotgun and it was aimed at them. They were terrified, and slowly my father reached down between the mattresses and pulled out his gun, when all of a sudden the farmer just vanished. My mother told me about this years later and why we moved that next day. The stories I could tell.....

I’ve never been a very religious person, but my mum told me that after she got pregnant for the first time, she lost the baby and a few months to a year later my cousin who was only around 2 at the time (no one had told him about the miscarriage bc he was too young to understand) turned to my mum one day and said “Auntie Julie, God wants me to tell you that he’s giving you a baby” she was in shock and didn’t know what to do so just didn’t do anything. A few days later she took a pregnancy test bc she’d been throwing up that morning and she was pregnant. She’d BEEN pregnant when my cousin was talking to her. That made me literally question everything bc my cousins family wasn’t religious either so didn’t really talk about God at all. So creepy but also beautiful

So this happened to my mother when she was 17.
It was a pretty foggy day and my mom and her mom were supposed to meet up and hang out later, until then my mom was just gonna chill at a friend's house. In the middle of a pool match, out of nowhere mom starts feeling an excruciating and intense pain in both her legs that is near crippling. I forgot how long she said the pain lasted, but it stopped very abruptly. As you can imagine my mother was shocked that such an intense pain had seemingly come and gone.
Unfortunately mom had gotten a call soon after to come down to the hospital because her mom had been involved in a car accident.
Mom had gotten to the hospital and was informed that her mother had passed away. Distraught, my mother had been allowed to see her mother's body, she noticed that both her legs had been crushed and bloodied. "A horrible sight" she described it as.
She didn't make the connection at first but years later she remembered the awful pain in her legs that she felt that day that had just came and went so abruptly.
My mother firmly believes she felt some of her mother's pain before she perished. Although I'm sort of a sceptic on this, I just find this too coincidental to be just a random ache or something. It's very sad but my mom feels comforted that although my mom and her mom weren't close, they were still connected in some way.

I have someone in my family whose like that, in terms of feeling other's pain. I have a pain syndrome which causes me to feel severe pain and collapse sometimes. The most memorable moment for us was when my stepmom was shopping on the road with my dad doing fine then she was hit with immense amount of pain in her shoulder and had to sit down due to being dizzy (she is prone to fainting). At the same time, (I was at home) I collapsed from pain in my shoulder and body. This is one instance. The other times we might wake up in the middle of the night around the same time with the same pain then, find out the next morning about one another.

I lived in a haunted house for about 6 years and a lot of stuff happened there
When all 3 of us kids would go to school and my mom was home alone with my youngest sister, she would feel someone putting their hand/something cold on her shoulder while she washed dishes.
Or she had the feeling like someone was watching her from behind.
My younger sister would be playing in her room with her toys but it looked like she was fighting with another kid, except she was alone.
She also wouldn't go inside the kitchen alone because she said there was an old man with a dog and she was scared of them.
My other sister once felt that something pulled her socks off in bed. This happened on halloween night, i remember we stayed up watching back to the future because we didnt go trick or treating. We were all in the same bed, but we didnt believe her. My brother heard a little boys laugh in the living room and i told him its probably our sister just go to sleep(my parents and baby sis slept in the room across from us) but then i heard it too, and what still freaks me out is that after i heard the little boys laugh we heard
    "People laughing"
    "A woman screamed two times"
    "Banging on the wall"
    "Footsteps"
And knocking on the wall, as soon as that happened we started screaming for my dad, then it just stopped.
Another time we heard like if someone was dragging chains on the roof.
Another time my dad saw a white "shadow" when he trying to get the car to turn on at like 5am. It was pretty dark still.
Another time i was in my room with my brother and he went to the bathroom and had left the door halfway open(and i have a thing for opened doors, i hate it when a door to any room is opened idk why but i feel scared for some reason) so i wanted to close the door but i was too lazy to get up, when out of no where the door, very slowly, started to close by itself.
Also when i was home alone, i would hear the dishes fall and break in the kitchen, and not just me my mom would also hear that. And when she would go into the kitchen, there wasn't a single plate broken.
There was also a time when we'd hear a bell at night and we never found out where it came from. All of our neighbors families were adults. The only kids were the 2 nieces of one of our neighbors, but they'd only visit not live there. So, it couldn't have been other kids playing.
One of the rooms is conected to the bathroom, so when we first moved in i chose that room. Before this i always slept with a night light because i used to be scared of the dark. Until one night i closed my eyes and i clearly remember seeing a shadow that went right infront of me. I was frozen in fear. Its been almost 7 years and i've never been able to sleep with lights on at night, it has to be pitch black. Looking back now, i think that that room(with the bathroom) was probably the scariest part of the house)
If you've read till here, thank you! 😃

I don't know about the rest (some sounds more believable than others), but I've tried something similar if not exactly the same with the sound of something falling and breaking (or at least moving) but when u turn around its normal.
It's been a long time since it last happened, but when I got a new room in our house (I changed with ma sis and brother), I had a desk in he corner of my room, behind Mr was the door and a little shelf behind it.
Usually ween I sat there I kept hearing noises, not just noises, but the sound of my clay bowl, and my books moving or falling, but when I looked behind me it was all normal.
There was one time whwerd I was almost prepared to turn around. It happened and I turned around as quickly as possible, I swear that my clay bowl had moved, maybe just an inch or more, but it had moved. Something wasn't right about its position.
Since that day, it never happened again. Not yet at least.
I've also tried with both my chromebook and my phone. I'm sitting late at night watching TH-cam or anime or something. I feel tired to I close my chromebook or phone down. I place it where I always place it and put in my charger.
When I woke up the next day, my chromebook looked fine, hadn't moved, but something was still off. I opened it and something was opened and some silver metal of some kind hung out from it.
When it was my phone and I woke up to the sound of my phone hitting the floor and I thought "it must've fallen". I looked and it hung by my charger, it wasn't even close to touching the floor, but the screen was all cracked up and I heard that sound.
I told my parents but they didn't believe me...

    • @cassandrakorsgaard5923
      @cassandrakorsgaard5923 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Another time when I still had my other room I was really scared of the dark, so I would always have my door open but I was so paranoid that a blackman (not me at as skin color cuz I'm not racist, but his silhouette was black) would come in and kill me.
For the first night in many, I turned around to face the wall instead of the door while sleeping. After maybe 10 minutes of me not being able to sleep, I started feeling someone was behind me. I was so scared, and I didn't dare turn around.
Af ter a little while again, I began hearing someone breathing, and I could feel a warm breath against my neck. I was so scared and at last I gathered up the courage to turn around.
When I did... It was almost pitch black, and no one was standing there, but I swear my door was more open that before.
I ran upstairs to tell my parents, and they told me that the breathing I could hear was probably my brother snoring and I felt the air because I was scared.
That calmed me down a little and I went back downstairs. I wanted to see if what my parents told me was actually right, so I went inside my brother's room to check of he was snoring. He wasn't, he was breathing normally. I was about to walk out again but then he stared snoring, and that was a totally different sound from what I heard, but I was so scared I didn't even dare to go upstairs to my parents. I went to my room and faced the door ever since, well until I got a new room.

When I was in 4th grade I argued with a girl in our class. We were friends. Both of us did really bar in an exam, and were feeling sad. She was crying. It was annoying. After a while she stopped crying, but she again started crying. I was really annoyed so I yelled at her telling her to shut up, then stood up and went somewhere away from her. After a while I realized she wasn't there and I also felt bad for yelling her so I decided to find her. It was a rainy day so places she could have gone were not much. Our class was in upstairs. I started looking for her, but she was nowhere to be found. Lastly I decided to go to the girls toilet, just to see no one was there. But I shouted her name just in case she might be in the toilet. A minute or so passed, I heard her voice to tell me to go. I didn't at first but again she told me to go. When I got out of the toiler I saw her. In front of our class. Looking at me coldly. Even though I was freaked out I assumed it was someone who told me to go. Then, I went near her and apologized for shouting at her. She looked at me in a weird way and started laughing awkwardly then asked what I was talking about.

I had an experience with a doppelganger.
So when I was younger (around 8), I was watching the news and it was telling a story of a girl that was murdered by her mother and was stuffed in a suitcase and then buried in a near by forest. It then showed a picture of the girl. She looked almost exactly the same as what I looked like at the time (we even had the same jacket on). I was so spooked. The story had been on newspapers and everything. So for the next couple of weeks when I went outside I had people just stare at me, probably wondering how a dead girl was alive.

That last one actually reminded me of something a friend of mine and I did.
A friend of ours had recently passed away (This was only a few months ago) and we wanted to remember him so we went to a diner we always go to and brought Cards Against Humanity. (He was a BIG fan of that game) We were going to play a game in his honor since I hadn't been able to make it to his memorial and she hadn't stayed long due to religious differences. (His family decided to make the memorial a religious service rather than a party of remembrance like they could've so people who didn't hold those beliefs could stay and remember him as well.)
In any case we had to play with a Ghost because there were only two of us. (In the rules they actually call it a Ghost, which is an extra card that gets drawn when there's only two or three players so that you don't have only one card to choose from) Kind of ironic to call it that but we're also the type of people to laugh at that sort of thing and so was he so we made a few jokes and started playing.
Now I have played CAH with a Ghost MANY times before and you always get some obviously stupid answers. They tend to be things that even the most random person would never play.
That night though........ it was about two hours into our game and I suddenly glance over at the pile of black cards the Ghost has won and realize something; the Ghost was doing GREAT.
On SO MANY occasions, the Ghost played a card that was right up our friend's alley and so true to his sense of humor that we kept picking it. At the end of the night, I barely scraped out a win but my friend and the Ghost were TIED. (I had like 50 cards because we played until we ran out of black cards and she had like 35 and so did the Ghost).
Neither of us have ever played a game with a Ghost where it got past the 10s let alone managing to get 30 Cards.
Both of us agreed that he must've been there with us, to play one final game of Cards Against Humanity as a send off.

When I was around 9-10, I was outside with my sister playing with a soccer ball. We had the garage door open, to let it air out. (We have litter boxes that smell bad in there) and when it got dark, we went in the garage and closed the door. Like we double checked it was closed because the week before someone broke into one of our cars. The next day after school my dad came in and started saying that we left the garage door open and that we were in big trouble because someone could have broke in or the cats have ran away. The thing is we made sure the door was closed and even I went out later that night to make sure it was closed. It was, so I just went to bed. My heart dropped when he said it was open. To this day I swear someone broke in

Honestly, I am a firm believer of ghosts and I have had my fair share of scary stories. I think I'll just post three of them.
    1. When I was in middle school, I lived with my dad, my older brother, and my younger sister in our two-story house. My younger sister and I needed to get ready for school, but I usually take a lot longer to actually get up from bed since it was always so cold in the mornings. While I was laying in my bed, I saw my dad walk downstairs to finish his work and my older brother was still at work. My younger sister got up and went to use the bathroom before me. I was in and out of sleep, but all of a sudden I can hear my younger sister angrily yelling at me to leave the bathroom door alone. I was a pretty impatient person in the mornings, so I always knocked on the door to let me in, but I was really confused since I was still laying in bed and there was no one on the other side of the door. Turns out, from inside of the bathroom, my sister could hear banging over and over, more aggressive than my usual knocks which scared her and obviously made her angry at who she assumed was me. Then, the doorknob started to jiggle and suddenly stopped when she yelled at me. She still is adamant that I was the one who did it, but I never got up and my door was wide open the entire time, so I would have seen someone go by if it were true.
    2. My family was having a get together at the same house. My older sister brought her 4 kids and my other sister brought her 2 kids. There are 8 kids in total including my sister and I. Because my younger sister knows they all have the tendency to make messes, she does not let any of them go upstairs on their own. The kids are all playing outside when out of the corner of my eye, I see what looks like a little girl crawling on her hands and knees up the stairs like she is trying to sneak around. Apparently, so do both my younger sister and my older sister. It was typical for the kids to sneak upstairs, but something felt weird. My younger sister ran upstairs after the little girl, thinking it was our niece and yelled at them to stay out of her room. She searched every single room upstairs, but I still had that weird feeling. I walked into the other room and did a headcount of all the kids. All accounted for downstairs and my sister came down the stairs, scared shitless.
    3. Recently, my younger sister, my dad, and I moved into my grandmother's house for personal reasons. I honestly didn't think anything of it, but I have always gotten the creeps from the house especially at night. Now, my grandma is a devote religious person, so she does not believe in ghosts. I just kind of thought that because of that, I would not have any scary experiences, but on the first night, I was finishing unpacking my stuff. My sister and dad were already fully moved in, but I'd been staying at my former house with my sister until I graduated from high school. I didn't have too many boxes, but I took my time. I glanced at the time and it was already 12. My grandmother was fast asleep, my sister was in her room on her game, and my dad's snores were sounding throughout the house. Then, I had to move my last box out of the hallway. My door was wide open and something about the hallway gave me the creeps. I shrugged it off though and moved my box into the closet, to organize the clothes when I heard a voice say "hello." It was a little freaking girl voice and I panicked. I dropped everything I was doing, almost positive that it came from the hallway, I looked around for anyone in sight, but there was no one there. The part that scaried me the most was that the voice sounded exactly to one of my niece's voices. I had seen her on earlier that day because she helped me move stuff in, but she left hours before and it was so much later. Nothing else to that extent has happened since though.

    I have a few!
First, I was about 7, my parents had recently divorced and it was Guy Fawkes night. I was at my dad's flat for a bonfire. He lived in the upstairs flat and I had come in to get a hotdog. I was so excited to run back out for the fireworks, I tripped at the top of the steep stairs. I went flying headfirst, it all seemed to happen in slow motion. I remember seeing the floor at the bottom approaching and I knew my head was gonna hit it hard. Then suddenly I felt myself turning upright and I landed, so softly at the bottom of the stairs, like something had gently placed me there. I didn't even drop my hotdog. I thought it was so weird but being so young I didn't dwell on it. Makes me wonder what that was :S
Second. I'm now about 8 years old and my neighbour's cat was missing. We were handing out flyers for her, and my mum had told us how far we were allowed to go. But I decided to push my luck, and go one more street. As I walked through a small alleyway to the next road I saw a man sat in a deck chair outside his house. Where his head should have been was a black plastic bag :S Me and my friend both saw it and kind of froze. Then we just ran back home and didn't speak about it. Weird.
Then when I was around 15, I'd been arguing with my mum. I was really sad and angry and wanted to call my friend. I picked up the phone (landline) but there was no dial tone, as if someone had picked up the phone in the other room. I spoke into the phone "put it down, I need to make a call" no answer, but still no dial tone. So I said it again, more angrily, still, nothing. Eventually I took the phone away from my face and shouted towards the my mum's room (where the other phone was) "Put the phone down! I am trying to make a call!" My mum shouted back, from the kitchen.... "I'm not on the phone!" I suddenly felt very confused and slowly put the phone to my ear, I could hear crying on the other end... then all of a sudden, dial tone was back. What was that?!
And another one happened last year. About a year after my dad died. I had a dream which didn't feel like a dream. I was somewhere I didn't recognise. I saw my dad, and ran over to him, hugged him, so happy to see him again, but I knew it couldn't be real, since he's dead. So I asked him, are you real, or is this a dream? He said it wasn't a dream. But I wanted him to prove it, so I asked him to tell me something I don't know. He was a mechanic, and I'd been having problems with my car at the time. Suddenly my car appeared there, and he opened the bonnet. He told me what was wrong. Showed me the part of the engine which wasn't working. Well I don't really know anything about cars but it did turn out to be true when I got it fixed later on. But he looked at me and he said "you really shouldn't come here, you know, this place is not for the living" I told him I go there often, and he looked worried. The next thing I know I woke up in bed, I was gasping for breath and freezing cold. My husband was holding me, looking scared. I was crying too, it was very strange.

The "woke up dead" dream one really disturbed me. I've had a dream before that had a very similar feeling to it, but luckily nothing has happened relating to it, so I assume it was just an odd dream.
In the dream I was sitting at a table playing cards with my twin sister and my seventh grade history teacher (an old cowboy man, very friendly and interesting guy). We're having a polite debate about religion. Suddenly, my sister, on the opposing side of christianity in this dream, says "I understand why people don't like the bible. I mean, it killed Jessica Dive!"
Then, I woke up. I have no idea what the dream meant. I have no idea who Jessica Dive is. I don't even know how to play cards. I tried to search up anyone named Jessica Dive and nothing came up. I was in eighth grade when I had that dream. It's been a few years, but I still think about it a lot.

I woke up to two missed calls from my dad and I nudged my partner up to say 'that's odd, hope everything is okay'. I remember being really young when this happened.
When I was 8-10 I remember having a really bad nightmare, the nightmare took place in my bedroom. Nothing odd about it, it was a normal room for a little girl. Pink and frilly everywhere. Except, I never slept in the room because I had a bad feeling about it.
I remember going into the room to look around and get some toys. I would always clean the room and take pride in how It looked. I would stay for about 10-15 mins playing and that was the maximum time before I started feeling a presence. I remember going into the room and I had no purpose to be there, I felt as if someone was calling me. And being the stupid youngster I was I obviously followed. I stood in the middle of the room positioned right by the bed. I had the urge to look into the tv and so I did. Right when I looked I saw a tall, skinny woman standing right by my shoulder. Her face was covered by her long hair that passed her waist and her arms reached down to her thighs. I looked over my shoulder to see no one standing there. Looking back at the tv she was still there.
I ran out the room, just shocked and frightened. I never told my parents because I thought it wasn't that big of a deal. (I slept with my mom until I was 11). Some weeks later my mom shouted at me for scaring her while she was cleaning the dishes.
I was confused as I never did. She told me I kept standing behind her quietly.
At this point I was scared and felt sweat dripping off my head. I looked into the long hallway (my room being at the end) and saw a face peeping out. Right then I started screaming and crying.
I forgot about this as soon as I turned 11. But everything shot back as soon as I was brought into the room again by calling. There I was, my eyes pacing everywhere to find a reason to why I was there.
I caught a glimpse of a shadow behind me, I turned to only see myself. It might not make sense but I saw another me. A doppelganger. She looked at me, she had the same exact clothes but black eyes. She stood there for some minutes before walking to my bed and started standing on it.
I started back walking as I tried to exit the room and successfully did.
It been 4 years since this has happened and I still have nightmares of the room. I eventually told my parents and to my surprise they believed me. They told me before I was born there was an evil entity living in the house. They saw black smoke every now and then and felt uneasy.
What made me sick to my stomach was the news my father told me. When I was about 2-3 my uncle decided to stay the night as he was going to take my family out for a meal the next day. (He's from another city) He decided to sleep in my room. In the middle of the night my parents told me they woke up to a big slamming noise. They ran out the room to see my uncle with a broken arm and twisted ankle pacing for air by the exit of the door. He informed them that he saw a scary tall woman and that woman threw him to the wall with so much power he broke him arm.
This very day I still get the chills. Not only because of the story but also because I believe the evil presence has followed my family into our new home and could be right now staring at me.

    14:00 I have a story about doppelgangers.
I lived about 3-4 years in Turkey and I was in many different boarding schools, of course, I met many people and became friends with them but I was really young so I don't have any contact information about them. When I came back to my country I started going to a public school (7th grade) that's where I met the "first doppelganger". She looked EXACTLY like my best friend in Turkey and I was so confused but I was too shy to talk to people so I didn't say anything. We were in the same class and I sat next to her. They looked identical... the freckles eye and hair color, body shape, and even the teeth and braces. They even had the same handwriting... After all, I started talking to her they had different names and they had a different origin. I didn't hell her anything but I've kept thinking about it. I've met 3 people and their doppelgangers and I've never talked about this to anyone. The only difference between the doppelgangers were the country they came from names and birthdays. They even behaved the same way as my friends in Turkey so sometimes I got confused and started talking in Turkish to them (as I was used to) but of course, they didn't understand. I have experienced quite a few paranormal incidences but this one keeps making me uncomfortable.

This happened to me a few years ago, maybe 2016.
My family and I (sister, father and mother) were going to the pride parade in Toronto.
We ended up taking a GO train there.
Since I've heard about some of the terrorist attacks that were happening, I started to think of what I would do if there was a terrorist attack during the pride parade. Thankfully, nothing happened. We were all having a great time looking at all the floats.
A few days later, I went online and searched "Toronto pride parade 2016".
I had stumbled across an article.
To my horror, I learned that someone that day was planning on bombing and shooting up the parade.
It's been a couple years, but I'm still freaked out.

i had this strange dream a couple months ago. i was having a regular dream i guess (i don’t remember what the dream was) but suddenly my dream switched to a different “dream” where my mom and my brother were talking and my mom was explaining to my brother that she was just going to go out for a bit with my sisters and that him and i could have whatever we wanted for lunch. my only perspective while this dream was happening was in a corner of the kitchen (where the conversation was happening) my mom was standing on one side of the island and my brother was standing in the other side. i woke up shortly after and didn’t really think anything of it. i got ready for the day and went downstairs but didnt see my mom or my two sisters. i ate breakfast and then went up to my brothers room just to talk. the whole time i was in his room i couldnt stop thinking about the dream i had earlier. we were both silent and i said “this morning, did mom say to you that she was going to go out for a little with our sisters and that we could make anything we wanted for lunch?” he obviously didnt think anything of it and said “uh yeah”. then i said “while she was explaining that to you were you standing on one side of the island while she was standing on the other?” he said “yup”

i thought the story about the 7 year old who fell into the lake and stood at the bottom facing a little girl was really cute, even though she drowned it’s almost like she was trying to make sure no other child faced the fate that she did. adorable.

once when i was younger, my parents and i lived in this large apartment building. i recall walking into my room and seeing a man standing on the ledge of my window. he stood there standing straight up, completely still. i can’t recall exact details of what he looked like, but i remember his skin being a lighter almost greenish color and he was wearing purple clothing. i remember seeing the top of his skull missing and seeing his brain just peaking out. i damn near shit myself and ran to my mother screaming that i saw a man in my room and gave his description. my mother then told my father and we moved out a short time later. years later, my parents shared with me that they had also seen “unexplainable things” throughout the building but didn’t share with me as it would’ve scared me. my experience was a final straw that caused us to finally leave. not too long after we moved out, a tenant left their stove on causing a fire that spread quite wide spread and eventually burnt the building beyond repair. it was demolished a short time later. pictures of us at that building feel like a fever dream, they don’t even feel like real moments. i’m not sure what i saw, but the building obviously had some history behind it that ill never find out.

This story is from my aunt. My aunt, uncle, and little cousin (who was 2 or 3 at the time, she is 14 now) would move around a lot because my uncle was in the Navy and then Coast Guard. They lived in Washington at the time of this. Usually my aunt would stay home with my cousin, but this particularly day, my uncle took off; the three of them then spent a whole day together.
When they eventually came back, they realized their front door was wide open. They walked inside and their house was ransacked. Someone or people had broken in and tore the house apart. They called the police and asked their neighbors / good friends to watch my cousin.
There was a notorious gang in the area responsible. They took anything of value, including A LOT of expensive jewelry my uncle got my aunt when he was deported. The creepiest part was, in the bathroom, someone had lined up pictures that were around the house on the sink. It dcared my aunt because they knew exactly what they looked like and did that.
About a year or so later, they moved to my town in Virginia and have been here since. They never caught the gang members or recovered anything that was stolen. She has been on high alert of her surroundings at all times since then and sometimes get scared by certain noises at night.

This reminds me. I have two stories.
    1. When I was little, like in Kindergarten or 1st grade, I remember waking up in the middle of the night. In the corner of the room, was a bright white apparition of my grandpa, just sitting on a chair, reading his newspaper. I remember not feeling scared or worried, or...anything really. I just went back to sleep. That morning my dad found out that his dad (my grandpa) had passed.
    2. Few years later, I went over to my friends house. When he opened the door, his dog bolted out, and we both ended up chasing after it. After lots of running, the dog ended up by a lake. There was a large drop (probably 8 feet but I was in elementary school) from the platform at the edge of the lake, and the water. I was running alongside it going after the dog, when I lost my balance. I only had one foot on the platform, and my upper body was almost parallel to the ground, I was certain I was gonna fall. Then suddenly I got push and I was perfectly upright and continued running after the dog. And it wasn’t til later that day that I was able to process what happened.
Those two stories are why I have faith in my religion.

I still remember that dream of mine, where I showed my parents around the premises of the university I wanted to go at the time. As we went shopping (this is still in the dream), a family friend ran up to us with tears running down her face. All the sudden, my parents started panicking, my mom crying as well, and the 4 us got into our car with a lot of pressure weighing down before I woke up with a cold sweat.
Though it was just a weird nightmare at first, but about a month and a half later (I had forgotten about it at this point), me and my parents went to the same exact university for open house. Just after the event, we met up with the same family friend along with her husband who happened to be here to visit their son (a close friend of mine).
After a good lunch and shopping, the family friend got had gotten a phone call that my uncle (another family friend of ours) got into a terrible car accident, which she then notified my mom with tears running down her face. The look on everyone’s face was what kicked my memory, but I also had doubts running through my mind that the dream I had was the same thing that happening at that time. I was sent to stay with my friend while they wait for news in the hospital, and at 1am, we got news that our uncle passed away. It was that very moment I began questioning the universe.

Doppelgangers: I apparently almost met mine in college. At the end of my senior year right before grad I was showing my parents the brand new huge student center that had just opened that year and as we were coming down the stairs a guy I hadn't met before asked me if I was a freshman. I said no, I'm a senior. He looked surprised and then told me, "Well then you apparently have a twin running around campus."
Kinda glad I never saw her.

The scariest thing that happened to me was when I was like 3 years old we just moved house, and my new bedroom was sort of small it was nice during the day but at night it felt weird and creepy even my parents said it felt weird...
Whenever I went to sleep I used to hear a man with a deep voice talking to me but I couldn't see anyone..
I can't remember what he said because it was awhile ago but it was creepy
My parents even told me they would hear banging upstairs then go up there to find me asleep near the radiator sprawled out on the floor like I'd been thrown there....
After awhile my dad stayed in my room while I slept with my mum...
And he said that it was horrible and could hear the voices too
I remember having a picture in the dining room which would randomly fall at night
There was a church across the road from where I lived and we got the preist to bless the house soon after the voices stopped and the picture didn't fall....
Turns out before we moved in the couple before us were old and the woman's husband had died the wife moved out because the house was too big for her and lived in a old people's home..
    Unfortunately she passed away..
But the voice still scares me...
Even though I can't hear it

I used to sit in a corner and talk to something in that corner. I used to get scared and run to my mother, I also used to talk to this lady, I actually remember what she looked like, she was Indian but so pale, and long black hair that looked like she had never brushed it but she was so frickin tall! I recently asked my parents about it, (neither of them believe in ghosts, I do, I believe in spirits) and they looked at each other and told me this story of a lady from Durban named ‘Shelly’ or smth like that. They call her ‘Highway Shelly’ she was in a car crash and died but she was a good person. My dad told me once there was this lady walking next to some train tracks and he felt the urge to give her a lift so he let her get in his car, she didn’t say anything just got in when he offered. He looked in the rear view and she was just sitting there, he asked questions she didn’t reply, then he looked back again and she was gone. I have no idea if the lady I saw and Shelly were the same person but maybe that’s why I believe so strongly in spirits. For some reason I have random outbursts where I just talk to air, normal conversation but with no one. Then I stop and just shrug it off. Never realized how it feels like I’m talking to a real person till now.

    OH! I have a story
So this isn't my story, but it's my mom's. I have two.
The first one happend at a place, called "Drake" a little girl was playing by the train tracks of this place, and a train hit her. The day the girl died my mother saw a little girl playing around trees. (My dad and mom went woodcutting without us.) She called out our names and realized that we weren't with them that day. The little girl then dissapered into the woods again.
The second one takes place in an old white house we used to live in. So, my sibling and I wanted to watch a movie. Our mom was putting in a movie disk until my sibling said: "mommy, who's that behind you?" She looked behind her, saw nothing. And she looked down and saw huge footprints. (This couldn't of been my dad because he was at work) She tried to wipe them away but they stayed. We moved after other things in the house happend. Like cabinets slamming at night, waking up really early at 2AM in the morning and feel something watch us, lights going out randomly after we got them a week from before, and seeing huge footprints crossing to my siblings and my doors and room.
After we moved none of that happend to us again..... Weird huh...?

I had a similar story which I couldn't explain no matter what.
I was sleeping in my room at about midnight. I'm a bit of a light sleeper so I woke up to voices outside my door. I thought it was just my mother and brother. I don't remember what they were talking about. I got up, and combed my messy hair, still hearing them. They sounded worried. My mom asked my brother "What should we do?"
Mt brother replied in a cold tone "Eradicate." The word sent chills to my spine. Curious and annoyed, I opened my door and asked "Whatcha talking abo-"
There was no one there. The house was empty.
Meanwhile, I was freaking out. I looked everywhere and checked all nooks and corners. Nothing looked amiss till I went to kitchen and found the light in the Gods showcase was on [Little open cupboard with a ton of gold idols]. I'm scared as hell when I notice one of the idols were on the floor. I freaked out and for some reason, grabbed a knife and yelled "FUCKING HELL GET YOUR ASS HERE BEFORE I FIND YOU!!!"
The door opened and my brother and mother walked in to me with a knife, tears streaming down my face.
My brother and mom were actually in the roof cause they heard someone pacing up and down but it turns out the roof was locked up. They got security to open the door and did a thorough search. [More context: We lived in the topmost floor of our apartment].
    Never scared that much before.

I heard the apperently if you have that dream that exact person in the dream is going to die in a 100 day period. Also all people that you have seen in dreams are people who u have seen in real life as people's brain cannot formulate a new face

For the first one, do you think someone died? Like, someone’s child, mother, cousin, uncle, etc. could of being screaming at a relative to wake up, only to find out they died. And the scratching on the ceiling could be a knife, maybe the relative committed suicide after their relative died?

Me and my class mates (13 y.o) we were on a school trip at a old school or something. We were there for just only one night. The whole day was amazing the sun was shining we were playing football and volyball. At night the teachers told us that two little kids died at the "school" we didn't care but after like one hour the light in out room started flickering. We tought it was just some electricty problem but 15 second later we heard fast nocking on the door and then children like running downstairs all the way to the basemant. In the basemant there was one old room with just one bad and some posters on the wall and it smelled like shit in there and everyone who went there didn't felt good and wanted to get out of there as fast as possible.
I will never forget about that night.

A family friend of ours (older lady) told us that the night her husband died that he woke up and said he wasn’t feeling great and needed help to get to the bathroom. She took him, went back to bed with him and she woke up a few hours later and swore she felt...peaceful, like hearing singing (she said it was angels) and felt overwhelming calm. She snuggled up to him. She woke up a few hours later and he was dead.
