Had a new 2003 Anniversary burning copper Busa. Loved the muscular look and couldn't get over the riding experience. Nothing like it . Had to sell it a couple years ago. Miss it terribly. This new silver with red accents is beautiful. Wish I could just find the money . These two guys remind me of my younger brother and me when we road our 2003s. What a great way to be alive then.
Hayabusas are addictive... I've had four, and two of those are still in my garage. With a Gen1 and Gen2 already, a Gen3 is a no-brainer for me... I just have to wait for them to depreciate down into my budget.
Standing ovation Greg and Chops! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 This was the much anticipated sequel I was looking forward too! 420+ miles, 9 hours in the saddle, on those beautiful bikes, soaking in stunning views and epic roads! Well Done #TeamLCR 👌🏻 We need more Greg and Chops feature videos like these. Award winning cinematography, fun, smiling inducing chemistry. #BrothersIn-Law 🔝🎬🎥👍🏻🆒 #Hayabusa
Outstanding Bikes, clear & precise commentary, crystal clear camera, breath taking views, great choice in music. You boys nailed it. On the negative side, you just made the wait for my pre ordered Busa even longer. But I can deal with that. Thanks for all your work boys. Keep safe. Big Gday from Australia 🇦🇺 👍🏼🇦🇺 ps. One of the best, if not the best touring/review video on TH-cam. My third time watching. Just the right amounts of bike talk, general but very entertaining chit chat, fantastic scenery with some droneage, and some off the bike things of interest. Great job Chopsy.
I love king of the road bikes and the 2021 Busa fits my taste of bikes, agree that panniers would be a welcome accessory given it’s mile munching ability, they arrive late August here in Western Australia and I’ll test riding one. A very enjoyable ride guys I felt I was there with you both 👍🇦🇺
Well Chops & Greg, I've just bought one after watching this, it's been on my mind for ages and you've just tilted me over the edge, a combination of your awesome video and a deal I couldn't refuse, roll on spring! 😁
Splendid Chops. A lovely vid & very enjoyable. Also a great showcase for the Hayabusa. People keep asking what's if for & who's going to buy it? This is what it's for. Watch the vid!
What a bountiful ride and excellent review of what the Hayabusa is capable of doing for the touring space. In the US these are also hooligan bikes so don't be lulled by its refinements. Love the drone footage!!!!
Your reviews are very honest and great information. It’s nice to see older men around my age to give great advice instead of others that are in there twenties or thirties that don’t have any clue about body positioning on a bike those young guys should be bulletproof
I’ve watched this twice. I’m finally convinced that this will be my next bike instead of the Africa Twin DCT. The in-line 4 smoothness & tractability of the engine. Based on my frame 5’10 , 75 kg & long arms. This would fit me like a glove. I had a GS. This is perfect plus Suzuki’s reliability.end 2022 , it will be mine🙏🏽 Thanks a million Mr Lamb Chop
@@dcryder9736 - I bought it in May & managed to clock in 1000km on it before I had a retina detachment & consequently had to stop riding for a while. I sold it in October 2022, only after 5 months. On top of its reliability & cost of servicing & isn’t as hot as other big bikes in our tropical climate of Singapore. The choice is a no brainer. I even installed a 52l top box as I commute to the airport. I really miss riding. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏽 that I can get back to riding in a year. When that happens, I’ll get on a Hayabusa in a heart beat.
While we all want to ride to the South of France, for most of us a long day ride is about as good as it mostly gets, so this 2-part video has been spot-on. Excellent machines, and enjoyed the chat between the two of you. More of these please...!
Fabulous vid... love the busa whatever the gen. I have the series one and she is very nearly the complete machine.. still has huge road presence and moves and overtakes all. She is my own millenium falcon.... you should come to southern Ireland 🇮🇪you'd love it here. 😁👍
I struggle to find the Beacons and I only live about 40 miles away 🤣 I took that demo 'busa over some B-roads and the bike does a really good job on the nadgery stuff! Because it's an "old school" design it probably won't get the sales it deserves but it is a bloody impressive bit of kit.
Well that, gentlemen, was so worth the wait! I sat with my dinner on my lap and really enjoyed this second episode. Such fond memories of the busa I took out from Wheels and your editing Mr Chops captures the bikes beautifully 👌
Great review gents! I used to have a K5 and I'm 6ft 2in so similar to you. Based on your 2 videos I would love to get a 22 / 23 model, especially as they are now fitted with the goodies! I didn't find the lack of panniers a problem when touring. A Bags Connection rear cargo bag and a Bagster tank bag&cover was more than I needed. Cheers. (PS, nice to see you riding through my part of Wales 👍).
Just love this review by y’all…touch in everything that matters and I can almost see your smiles as you’re riding..great footage from across the Pond! Busa, here I come..🤙🏽
Great couple of videos. Certainly highlighted the positives of the bike. And actually highlighted the positives of biking in general. It’s about getting out there and enjoying the ride. One thing though, am I the only biker who never takes both hands of the bars whilst riding? ;-) Great job, I can imagine a couple of people maybe looking at the Busa who may of otherwise wouldn’t . Props
Great video guys I’m thinking about getting a sports touring bike haven’t had a bike for a fair few years I’ve had lots of 600s 750s 900s 1000s sports bikes before but now it’s time for something more capable 🙏🏼 your video has helped me make up my mind so thanks
Thanks guys. I enjoyed that so much, a route I know well from my BMW R65 days. A great ride, and yes! You've done a great sales job on the Hayabusa. I've always loved the look of them (really don't get why people don't rate their looks, to me they are beautifull) and when I get a bit of money to get another bike a Hayabusa is high on the list if not at the top. In fact it is a definite toss up between a BMW 1250 RT and a Hayabusa. Which is an odd choice because they are the antithesis of each other in some ways, but at 6'2" I need a big bike with plenty of power. I actually believe that the more power you have the safer because you are much more relaxed plus for me, the most dangerous point of motorcycling is how long you are exposed for during an overtake. I'll never forget the most terrifying moment in my motorcycling days was when I took my girlfriend on the back of my Kwaka ZZR1100 and went for an overtake, I misjudged the effect of having a pillion and didn't accelerate as quickly as I was used to and narrowly missed getting squished by an oncoming car when sosl I would have been well clear. But it always made me think that it's how quickly you can overtake that gives you safety so underpowered bikes are not safe because they may have the top speed but not the grunt to get passed a car quickly and safely and then settle back down again. Thanks again for a great ride.
Funnily enough Guy that’s exactly my choice too! I’m 5’10” but long in the body and short legs so seating position on the RT would suit me fine but totally in love with the new Busa!
What a brilliant machine in a single package!! Well done guys, great review, great riding and great video. It's time I upgraded from my Gen 1 I think....
Glad to see you can ride the Busa sensibly and still really enjoy it and have plenty in reserve for those mad moments. The lack of pannier option is a really bad choice by Suzuki as the bike is really suited to long distance rides. It seems the engine doesn't have much character though other than going effortlessly smooth throughout the whole rev range. I'll loved my old K1200S because it used to get snarly and vibey above 4500 rpm and let you know it was in party mode. It had hidden pannier mounts as well with expandable sport panniers.
The engine's character is its supernatural torque wave,( Its defining feature ) doesn't get any better than that, Vibrations, no thank you, I am sure it will snarl with an exhaust.
@@annon-ski7985Super smooth throughout the rev range doesn't work for me as I ride where the bike feels comfortable in engine feel. My RGV250 wasn't really happy until it was doing 70 mph+ and a Blackbird I test rode was so easy to ride at 90 mph+ it would get me into serious trouble without much effort. I guess the Busa plays in the same garden. The K12 though had a definite change in character as the exhaust valve opened. Vibey was maybe a poor choice of word but it definitely had a gruffer edge to it that let you know you it was party time. That 4500 rpm in top was around 70-75 mph, if I remember right, so was great for riding the smooth grunty bottom end in relaxed mode. My problem is I can't trust myself with bikes that have engines like the Busa, Blackbird, ZX14 etc as that sweet spot is so easy to get to and so fast for public roads.
Great videos. It’s nice to see a review by guys about my own age. I’ve been thinking of a new hyabusa or zx 14. This will make my decision a lot harder.
great review lads. still not 100% on the looks but it's slowly growing on me. would love to ride in wales sometime to see how it compares to scotland. the road condition looks immaculate.
Great pair of videos Chops, thanks. Lovely to see you on roads I know - round Bristol and into Wales. There really are some great roads over the bridge.
Should have taken the H2 SX. My last run around Scotland was 3 miles short of 600 miles in the same day. Next day on the bike felt even better. In summary just keep going day after day, never stop.
Great review Chopsy - interesting getting two points of view on the same bike - you need to sort Greg out with a new jacket though - his `Crop Top`!! jacket was very distracting !!
Great video. I recently got rid of my ZX14R and now have a Multistrada. I will be looking for another big sport bike in about 2 years. This may be the one. Sure wish some luggage was an option. BUT, I recently lost my insta 360 1X🤬. It was on the pole mounted firmly, so I thought, on the rear of my bike. 10 minutes later I looked back and I only had the mounting plate of the camera on the big stick. It bothered me but I honestly couldn’t stop laughing at myself. I did make an attempt to find it but failed. I would have loved to see the footage 🤣.
That video flew by, always a good sign. Wales is an amazing place to ride, it's right on my door step too. Next time your there I recommend Heading towards Rhayader. The road around there are very special :-) Planing another trip in a week or two. Depending on the weather.
Great couple of video's Chop's, it would be nice to know what it would have been like for and carrying a pillion? The pillion seat looks big and comfy, only sat on one at the moment waiting for the weather to break before planning a test ride, but it did fell right for sure...
Great pair of video’s…..I thought Aberystwyth was a bit ambitious ! The sun always shines like that in Wales 😉 One to practice for next time…..”Look you now, isn’t it”….🏴
On a ducati(V4/V4S/V4R/Streetfighter V4/V4S) you would ONLY get 110 miles before running dry and the hayabusa can easily get another 70 miles more than those ducati's !! Not to mention that NONE of those ducati's have cruise control or even a gas gauge. Such a shame, but hopefully the engineers at Ducati can become more intelligent about adding such 'luxury' items since the bikes are at least 30% costlier(and double that in maintenance) more than the hayabusa ! Lastly, no one can even think about the fact that the reliability of Suzuki and parts network is vastly superior to the ducati/BMW....
I just love Suzuki, they still make sportsbikes with soul, (gsxr is more to my liking). BMW S1000RR M are just high revving, sterile and clinical, and then they fall apart. And i am not gonna stop nagging about that smc-r build, I dont think you have finished before you do a dyno-run!
Great videos guys... have watched this pair through several times (as well as others) while awaiting delivery of my own ‘22 Hayabusa (2 days to go!) Can you tell me more about your ‘jousting’ camera mount please? What is it? Was it OK on the mirror arm? Didn’t damage the finish or anything? Cheers
Chops a back to back comparison with the( ZZR1400R stock ) Fuel range drag race roll ons etc Real world the busa may be less on paper but real world testing may surprise
Thinks start getting fun onwards to Snowdonia, Bala etc. Looks like you need to get back and get those batteries charged! The bikes look bloody great... video was also awesome. I’m pretty sure Suzuki have sold a few more bikes on the back of this. Great work 👊
Very enjoyable John & Greg! Wales is incredible just a pity ye didn't get more of it in with those 2 beauties but maybe next time make a weekend out of it? Love the CHANNEL!
Another great film guys - my only criticism is that it was too short!! Keep up the great work. I live in Monmouth - so the A40 through Bwlch (Welsh for pass) out to Brecon is my local run. Come back to Wales soon! 👍👍😀😀
Really enjoyed the trip you guys shared👍 Could have done with this machine Bangkok to Hua Hin and back last weekend. Though it was enjoyed on the Tuono but could do with more wind protection even with an MRA xscreen.
Great video again chops showing what the Busa was made for. I hope you do come backm if nothingf else to work on that accent :D but you do need to experience the A470, A4120, A44 and all of the roads in between, you'll love it.

I really wish Suzuki, would relaunch the B-KING with that engine and modern electronics/quick shifter package.
As long as they don't make look like the last one. Striking but awful.

Great pair of video’s…..I thought Aberystwyth was a bit ambitious !
The sun always shines like that in Wales 😉
One to practice for next time…..”Look you now, isn’t it”….🏴
I'm stuck an a restricted licence for 2.5 more years, but this is the bike I'm saving for.
I’ve got panniers to put on my ZZR 1400 makes the perfect bike.
Cracking video, looks like you 2 had some fun
Beautiful country with some amazing roads :D
A cracking review off the busa and you should come back to Wales and try up and around Bala and snowdonia lovely road to I have a 2005 gen 1 busa
Great videos guys... have watched this pair through several times (as well as others) while awaiting delivery of my own ‘22 Hayabusa (2 days to go!)
Can you tell me more about your ‘jousting’ camera mount please?
What is it? Was it OK on the mirror arm? Didn’t damage the finish or anything?
Cheers
Awesome part two. Thank you gents.
So good, felt like I was on one of those Busa’s.
New pole view is amazing! 👌
Chops a back to back comparison with the( ZZR1400R stock )
Fuel range drag race roll ons etc
Real world the busa may be less on paper but real world testing may surprise
Settle the big argument ounce and for all, which is the fastest 😁
Thinks start getting fun onwards to Snowdonia, Bala etc. Looks like you need to get back and get those batteries charged! The bikes look bloody great... video was also awesome. I’m pretty sure Suzuki have sold a few more bikes on the back of this. Great work 👊
Very enjoyable John & Greg! Wales is incredible just a pity ye didn't get more of it in with those 2 beauties but maybe next time make a weekend out of it? Love the CHANNEL!
Thanks Mark! We are planning an overnight trip next time 👍
LambChop, how was your lower back and knees after going 400 miles, and more, with the Hayabusa?
Another Fantastic Video. Well done both of you
Brilliant video guys ! Wales looks as good as Scotland . Trip going to happen as soon as .
Do you feel ok after un long trip with this position ?
For my 1.70m ,could I? 😢RT or BUZA ?
Very nice video ❤
guys someone compare bikes like hayabusa and h2 with track bikes like bmw s1000RR on how they feel for road tours and track days
Flipin Nora you started off at winford road garages then on to barrow gurney our neck of the woods 👌 top quality again chops. Great bike
Brilliant video chops love the bikes thanks from danny
Another great film guys - my only criticism is that it was too short!! Keep up the great work. I live in Monmouth - so the A40 through Bwlch
(Welsh for pass) out to Brecon is my local run. Come back to Wales soon! 👍👍😀😀
Thanks Huw 👍
Great review and a beautiful final location in the Brecon Beacons.
Really enjoyed the trip you guys shared👍
Could have done with this machine Bangkok to Hua Hin and back last weekend.
Haha thanks Mike, yes accent does need work 😂
