What i love about the busa is not its power, but its design... most sportys look very similar, whereas the busa has such a unique look... its beautiful.....
I have a 25th anniversary edition. Love the orange and I get a lot of looks. I love that I can ride for hours and not feel tired. It’s not as high strung as litre bikes either so it’s more of a pleasure to cruise on. Only thing I don’t like personally is how warm it gets sometimes at a long stop.
Love my gen 3! Comes pretty choked off from the factory, no surprise. With the right flash and exhaust, the bike comes alive and is a total pleasure to ride.
@ i brought my bike to an accredited performance shop; they optimized the air/fuel ratio via ECU reprogramming . I also put a Brock’s exhaust on, which not only took over 35 lbs off, it makes the bike the breathe more fully and it sounds amazing. Nothing illegal about that here. EU, a different story.
Yeah … I Like My Gen 3 too !! My upgrade are 1 . Alien Head Full ( black ) Exhaust 1 2 . Flash &Toned 3. New Race Filter 4. Also New Wheel Bearings That’s It .. She Rides TOTAL Different !! With Alot of Snap at the Throttle
I really like your videos! Thought it would be interesting to share what happened to me last night. I was on my ZX14R at night in full gear (about 45 degrees Fahrenheit). Fairly dark road that I'm familiar with and fortunately at the time I was going only around 40 - 45 mph when what seemed out of nowhere, I was hit by a flying goose! I barely saw it in my left peripheral vision before it hit my left shoulder / back area. Luckily it was a somewhat glancing blow, but I could really feel it. Only dirt marks on my jacket (no feathers or blood) and as soon as I could a did a u turn to search for an injured goose where I was hit but nothing in sight, so I assume it was able to continue on flying. Be careful out there guys, you never know when those flying geese are gunning for us!
You got lucky with the QS on that one. Somehow Suzuki dropped the ball on that and several of us have had issues with it being super slow to respond on up shifts. Thx for the review.
Such a great review. Makes me want to really consider a Busa after owning the R6 which always sounded like a sewing machine. The Busa has good exhaust note and easy ride ability based on your review. .
The thing I’ve taken away from the legacy of the hayabusa is that it’s docile and gentle enough that anyone can casually ride it. When you want to turn up the heat, an experienced rider can do that too. And the comfort level is there for long distance rides since it’s considered a sports tourer. It really is an amazing all around bike.
Definitely a finisher motorcycle. Low end torque and high horsepower. More reliable than a zx1400 according to my mechanic whose won many drag races with his busa. It also takes a lot more effort to corner in the twisties. That way you're not fat and old. 😂 I see one in my future if their still around.
Heeyyy, welcome back to the reviews, and sweet stuff it's back with a street legend. Great bike and a whale indeed other bikes have the branding on the side but for this one it's at the top. It's special👍👍👍
Did you bring the reviews back ! ? AWESOME ! Please bring the Playlist back too - Make it visible ! They were amazing and different from other youtubers.
The 1st year '99 model was restricted in, at least, the 1st 2 gears. There was a plug in device called a " TRE " unit that took out the low gear restriction. You could bring up the front wheel at only 2500 rpm, in 1st gear on just throttle without using the clutch,
@CrazyKosai ok mr like your own comment. But I have yet to see that size exhaust on any other bike. It is unnecessary. Not even the 2500cc rocket 3 has a slip on that massive. So no, it's just ugly heavy and unnecessary.
@nightmarezero8465 Most of modern bikes have overly big exhausts, even those half the size of Hayabusa. As for the Triumph, it revs up up to 7k rpm but Haybusa goes almost to 10k producing higher frequencies thus needing larger muffler.
FYI these are all old bike reviews back by popular demand. linktr.ee/GregWidmar

I love analog gauges with a central LCD display.
Did you hear the news? Sony is looking to collaboration with the next suzuki and the cluster will be more on the likes of a playstation game system !
The Busa is not just a motorcycle, it is a piece of rolling art!!

Great choice...the orange 25th anniversary edition is the best looking Hayabusa ever built

Would a 6’1 guy feel uncomfortable on Hayabusa ?
@ I’m 6’ and very comfortable on it.

What did you mod and who flashed it? any power numbers before and after? And did you raise the rpm limiter? I don't want to mess with the RPM limiter
Yeah … I Like My Gen 3 too !!

Great review ! The video really gives the feeling of speed. That rapid counter steering back and forth in the parking lot is an experience.

This story gave me goose bumps. 😂 glad your okay!

Love to see more review videos! Can you review the 2024 Suzuki GSX S1000 GX+ next?

Te felicito por toda la explicación, muy claro y concreto, tengo una 2018 negra con rojo y estoy encantado, un gran abrazo de Argentina.
seen someone doin' an off-road ride on this bike, extraordinary awesome
Perfect starter motor
Talking bout the electric starter?😂
whats so special about a busa starter motor?
Exactly what I said getting one in two weeks . From Florida With Love
@eyBuDDy6217 a man once told me - "Be careful not to be quicker than your shadow". I wish all the best to you brother.

It's a really cool bike. My cousin rides one. I couldn't handle all the attention it gets, but he loves it.
Hey Greg what happened to your other reviews? You always gave thoughtful and unbiased opinions.
You know you're in trouble when an Oklahoma State Trooper lights you up in an authority Hayabusa, because you are not going to outrun that beast.

Me too I hope they keep making them😢
@MotoJitsu it seems like your bike review playlist only has this one... what happened to all previous ones? You might need to add them back.
Yep, they were good referance material when others were wondering about other bikes.
Still have my '99 Copper that I bought new in April 1999.
Used primarily as a drag bike, but put back to stock when Carlsbad folded in 2003.
Ive experienced it for 2 yrs and it rocks my bollox😁just hit 10k and planning to go touring Europe on it next year 😎😎
They are nice to ride distance, and a lot turn them into good cruisers.
I love the Buss in black and brown styling and the rounded tail fairings. Scary looking beast

I cant get on with my QS it makes my big toe bleed but never have a problem on my H2 and H2 sx
What camera, microphone and mount are you using, because the image and sound are excellent?
I am going to test ride a Gen 3 this week hopefully.
Did you bring the reviews back ! ? AWESOME ! Please bring the Playlist back too - Make it visible ! They were amazing and different from other youtubers.
"Baby whale" 😅 I like this!
Yes, it will be very interesting to see the low speed maneuvers on Hayabusa!
Nice video keep up the great work MotoJitsu
Oh I forgot awesome 👌 video young man.
Here from live q & a. Love Hayabusa! Is there going to be a practice Sunday 12/1?
I missed your bike reviews!
Patiently waiting for the 1300 gs manual and automatic review, can't wait!
Good test!
Tempomat is necessary because of the unconformable seat posture on long term use.
hey motojitsu, think you'll ever check out a honda with the e-clutch? would love to hear your thoughts about it, good or bad!
Review the 2024 1250 RT if you can please! Would love a 1250 GSA and RT comparison from you if possible

Thanks for doing test rides. Helps us with buying decisions.
It sounds amazing!
Could this be a good beginners bike? I just started riding last month, but I think I am a fast learner.
😮😮 you do bike reviews now??!! NOICE
The biggest twist would be that Motojitsu sells his BMW to get the Hayabusa
Best touring platform
Good afternoon. I'm a beginner is this Good for me. And also . Happy Thanksgiving to you and family.
would you call it a good touring bike ?
Cool
It'd be great if you could review CBR650R & CBR500R !
Unfortunately, my hip couldn't handle this bike position. High pegs is a killer for long rides.
Which one is faster or more comfortable zx14 or busa
my hayabussy is ready
Just sat on one Saturday and almost bought it but its too uncomfortable. If the rider triangle was more upright I would own a black 2024 right now.
What happened to all the other bike reviews?
😍😍
Is this a repost??
Hi🎉
I'll never understand why Suzuki puts a damn cannon sized exhaust on that bike.
It's simple. Noise and emission regulations.
@CrazyKosai ok mr like your own comment. But I have yet to see that size exhaust on any other bike. It is unnecessary. Not even the 2500cc rocket 3 has a slip on that massive. So no, it's just ugly heavy and unnecessary.
I think they look good

@CrazyKosai my 19 ninja 1k didn't. Neither do several bikes in it's class.
Zuzooki 🤣🤣
it's Suzuki, not ''Zuzuki''.
Jesus Christ exhausts are getting more ridicolous by the day
Less power than the previous generation.
