1976 GMC motorhome Installing the non evaporator condenser

This project was installing a new condenser coil, don't ask why I kept saying evaporator. think its trying to explain things while recording. I installed a vintage air gen 4 magnum universal unit in place of the bulky factory ac unit that was in bad shape. most of the original pipes were duct taped together to seal leaks so it all had to go.

Use the spray foam for Windows...it stays flexible to expand and contract...soft and spongy to the touch. I use it throughout my 77 GMC

Is there a transmission cooler?

There is a transmission cooler built into the radiator, but I’m using an external one that’s mounted right behind the front bumper frame

Where did you get your aluminum radiator.

I ordered it off ebay. I saw it for sale and figured I would give it a shot. It fit perfectly and seems built extremely well. The only thing I did was modify the snubber supports in the top of the radiator support because they seem to come real close to the aluminum. Once I ground those down on the front and back edges it was a very nice fit. At first I was afraid buying it off eBay but I was surprised how well it was built. It wasn’t cheap though

Sir, that is a condenser, your Evap is in your air box.

Yes that's why I named the video the non evaporator condenser. I don't know why I kept saying that while recording. I had evaporator stuck in my head and couldn't go back and record it all over again. I cringed watching it when I was done lol.
