- I'm Rebuilding the Quadrajet off my olds 455 GMC Motorhome and giving it away. I wasn't able to do the full rebuild yet as unforeseen issues popped up. this video is the full teardown. remember to subscribe and comment. I will give it away to one of my subscribers that commented on any of my videos. its the only way I can make a list.
You seem to really know your way around that thing. I wish I did. I inherited a GMC motorhome last summer. It's been in the family since new. It was parked for 7+ years. I just got it up in the air the other day and preparing to drop the tanks and replace all that fuel system. Fun! I see one of these rebuilds in the near future for me.
You are an inspiration. Great videos. Very useful to DIY folks.
Awesome video brother love the old quadra jets. Fun too work with.
Great videos. I have a 1976 Edgemont and have been working on it four years now. I would love to start a series like yours showing my rig, just got to get off my duff and learn some editing skills. Keep up the good work helping keep these beauties on the road.
Great channel good videos, but can you turn down the intro music a tad. Every time a new video starts it blasts the speakers.
very informative!
I went to a FiTech on my 78 430 Tornado engine... being installed this week...
I just acquired a 1975 GMC Motorhome- and will likely be dealing with the carb and fuel system soon. I’m debating whether I should just dive in to efi?
I don’t think I will be rebuilding mine. Too many parts to loose.
Did you happen to note the carb number and labeling on the primary metering rods? So many of the 7 proper cores were swapped out with ubiquitous (similar, but incorrect) rebuilds, and it would be interesting to see what you found. It was rebuilt, so perhaps it was already compromised.
