- Finally finishing the driving lights and custom grill inserts on the aluminum grill for the GMC Motorhome. Made a wood buck to press expanded aluminum into 3D inserts and install quad driving lights to really light up the road safely. I don't think driving in the dark will ever be a problem even on the darkest roads.
Here is the 3m adhesive I used, its not the cheapest but it goes a long way and the product is top notch

You're beyond talented and the truck idea is uber resourceful.
Great work. I hope you will have more videos you are doing great work!!!!
I love your ingenuity, the grill looks cool great video!
Billy Mcentire thank you.
Thanks for taking the time to film and edit your custom grill project. I was impressed by your ingenious methods to form and shape aluminium. How about adding all your GMC videos to a playlist.
Thanks for the suggestion and watching, I made a playlist for the gmc , all of my videos so far pertain to it in one way or another. I'm still new to this TH-cam stuff.
Great production, and I learned a few new things. Thank you.
As long as what you learned is my videos don't stink I'm happy to help lol
That really looks awesome brother... love the style. Keep it coming we all got lots of time now to watch your videos lol
Firebird for sure. my work has us on standby until this calms down. I was going to make Tubby my isolation room away from my family if they kept us working. . Stay well.
I’m not sure a tire press would be Covell aproved🤘🏻
Still happen to have the original grill? I just purchased a 73 with front end damage. Your new grill looks great. As much as I would like to make one, I would rather get the coach put to use this summer. Thanks!
Yes I do have it. It’s not in the greatest shape though. If you are local NJish you can have it. Not something worth shipping though.
Doug love you video would you be willing to sell me a grill. I have a 1973 gmc
How expensive is the 2 part epoxy your using, and the special dispenser? and are your caulk/epoxy roof seal lines straight?
Captain Sam Wilson the tubes of adhesive are about 30$. The dispenser was 60 I think. Not the cheapest. I didn’t use it for the seams. I used it to seal up the a/c holes with aluminum panels. The seams I’ll be using the heavy body seam sealer. I’ll be showing how to make good straight lines with it soon. It’s an upcoming project.
I put links to the adhesive, like I said not the cheapest but you wont have to worry about stuff coming loose
@@getoutgadabout3423 Was talking to a professional GMC motorhome painter yesterday and he uses something he called Seems? Sems? I will have to research it.. But he says to put it on thin and then use lacquer thinner w/ your finger to smooth it out etc. and it works without overfilling the seam.. and also allows it to flex with the body more..
Captain Sam Wilson I’ll look into it as well. Thanks for the info.
Outstanding setup for the rig! Thank you for sharing!
