@@EFFTrudeau-001 Post malone from wish has helped me out with this vid, what have you contributed besides that useless comment behind a fake profile lmao.
I actually think it works well for this car, accentuating the center part. the sides are less key i find given the car lights are right there anyway. Very cool, love it
I installed this on my santa cruz and it looks amazing. The blinker function looks slick af and the whole truck just looks menacing as hell coming down the street with the led runners and this strip above them. Never installed something like this before in my life and it took me 15 minutes maybe to clean the surface and slowly line it up after closing the hood a few times to check the positioning. Pro tip for non-dummies: cover the top red tape with black electrical tape. It's not the end of the world. You can get a roll for $1-2. If you are wiring this in yourself you will probably have some anyway.
Put one of these on my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado and it looks great. Shows light well and yet hidden good while light is off. I've got several compliments on it. Good video guys. Good to show people that this light is not good for all makes and models.
Idk if anyone said this, but I’m pretty sure the 3m tape is on either side so you can run the light in either direction so the wire leads to the battery side … but I’ve never seen one or installed one so it’s just a guess
Wire it to your cigarette lighter fuse. That way when the car is turned on it will come on and off they go off. Its a 20amp fuse in the inside car fuseboard.
Fun fact the red strip on top is for any weather stripping that your car comes with. For example I have a Crosstrek that has front of hood weather stripping that needs to go on top of these lights.
I saw this on Amazon was thinking of buying it,think you done amazing video on it,guy fitting it and the camera man 10/10 👏,covered all basis needed to be asked,me personally I have a bmw think fit better on that then a big Audi
Then it’s probably inside underneath dash on drivers side.(left or right depending on country). You’ll have to fish the wire through. In that case I recommend using the headlight fuse instead that’s in the hood fuse box.

good video man, helped me out as I needed. I have one question tho, it's advised with the fuzebox to ACC, do you think AC would be a good alternative? It's on anyway by default.
Check your lights when you lock or unlock your car, with most vehicles the unlock position will have some parking lights stay on for a little while, if so, hook your positive (red wire), to the wire that goes to that light bulb that stays on when you unlock the car. Also I have heard that these LED strips do not have a long life history, so my recomondation would be to hook the red wire to your light that comes on during unlock mode, then hook the black wire to the hot wire that goes to any other bulb thats on when your headlights are on, what this does is it puts positive volts on both wires which turns the light off, but grounds the wire through the bulb when the headlights are off, that allows the light to operate when you unlock the car, but when the headlights come on, the LED light strip turns off, so your not driving around with the light strip on all the time, killing the life span of the light strip, so it will last a much longer time. To me the coolest effect of the light strip is when it first comes on, and goes back and forth, so thats why I would hook it up the way I described, so it does that cool motion, when I unlock the car. 😁👍
Im guessing The tape is on both sides so you can attach it to the bottom of the hood or the top of the car. As the wires are on one end and need to be near the fuse box, it can’t flipped. The lights are only on side of the strip Im pretty sure.
how would i wire it on 2015 Audi A4 B8, on the amazon listing it saya not to put it to the battery or else its gonna be on till battery drains and due the the fuse boxes being inside the car and one in the trunk any other way i can wire this?
One thing you could do for this car, would be to get some tail light tint spray, then tint the strip darker, so since the light is so bright, it wont have any issue with the tint spray, but since the color of the car is black, the tint spray would color the LED strip black, so you wont see the strip when its off or during the day, it would just look like the hood weather strip piece, but would illuminate when the lights come on. 😁👍
I was hoping to see it with the turning signal on. I got mine installed on my Genesis G70 & it looks fucking fire but doesnt sink properly with my turn signal. Goes the opposite direction than my turning signal are. Trying to find a fix to that.
Actually one side of the tape is for mounting the light strip directly underneath the hood, the other side is for mounting on the frame of the vehicle lol. It didn't show the lights on the side because it should've been mounted towards the edge underneath the hood.
Are there different lengths you can purchase? I have a 2019 Mazda cx-3 SUV. Sorry...I'm a woman! Lol! But will have someone install it for me, even though I'm capable!😅
We do not recommend wiring this directly to the battery as it would always have power and remain on. Best thing to do is connect directly to headlight fuse or low beam wiring
We haven't tried installing it there but this is better for a look where you can see the actual strip when on. If you are referring to having it just illuminate a hue this may not be ideal
Yes, it is best to connect it to a switched fuse so your not draining your battery and you will get the nice start up animation upon starting your vehicle. It will remain on until vehicle is turned off
@@luxurystarlighting my audi a4 b7 fuse box on driver side dash, i am assuming i would have to wire somehow through from hood to inside if want to use ACC fuse? Thank you love your video
I've read the descriptions for some versions of this products and the ones with animations say you can't because it messes up where the center is and so on, but they also have like 5 different lengths
From our experience, as long as you thoroughly clean the service the adhesive provided is actually very good and should not give you any issues staying put
Gotta take into account the sticky tape was used once, pulled off, and reapplied. You will never get the strip to adhere doing this. Also, you can heat these strips up a little bit to work them around bends. I have also heated the surface and the sticky tape to make it more tacky to go around bends and curves better. Prefit the strip.somyou can be aware just how far the strip will be visible after the install 2nd part center of hood in this vid) and adjust accordingly. Not knocking anything here, just geivign advice.
that would depend on when you want the strip to power on. You have a couple different options like headlights or to a switched fuse so it would come on when the car is turned on and off. Also if you wanted you could also wire it to a hard switch so you can turn it on and off at will
We personally feel it would depend on the specific vehicle your mounting this to. Obviously some cars would have better fitment than others but overall a very easy installation

Would be a way cleaner look without the red backing.
