So I was thinking about doing this to my 2021 RT Tow N Go - but since I already have the upper LED strip on my headlight I'm not sure how this would look....? Why is there red on top? is there tape on both sides? if so why? Thanks for the video - I think it's very cool for the most part!
I did on the first one I bought but I guess you have to make sure you cut it in the correct spot or else you will lose more LEDs and it wont look right. So I just curled it up like you saw in the video@@MidwestMotor
Hey so I installed underglow inside the grille and connected it to my dRL I just bought this in red strip and don’t know where to connect it that will shut off with car. DRL is occupied

I took top red tape off and ran a line of black electrical tape down the light. Looks so much better.

Yes tape on both sides. You can attach to the hood if you wanted instead of the grille.

I’m trying to do this with my Durango now, I see some videos recommend a fuse tap, is it okay to do it the way you did it ?
It’s ok and still works fine. Fuse tap would be best long term. Didn’t know how long these lights would last

Nope. Not that bright to cause any issues

Now that you have had this on for 7 months , how has it held up? Did you need to apply gorilla glue?… love the look though!
It’s still going strong. Haven’t had to do anything to it.
How is the led hood light strip holding up for you? I read that some are failing after a couple months. Sections start to go out on the strip.
I’ll do a follow up video here shortly about it but it’s still doing just fine
