Maybe you can try to ask yourself what you really want, try to analyze and find the roots of your emotions, don't harshly blame yourself for anything and try to improve instead, be more mindful of what you want instead of what others want and draw your own boundaries, be more independent and not rely on other people for your own worth Self awareness is about knowing what you really want and knowing yourself, all of you, your human nature and everything, understanding yourself can almost help you understand others since you would know more of your deep inner flaws, including the ones that you can't control and would always be there, in everyone
What I love about these videos is 1. you can go to the comments and see a summary. 2. if you need more details you can go to that part of the video. 3. most importantly, everyone can relate to each other in the comments like a community. 4. Metacognition - Thinking about Thinking. To be aware of what is going on in our mind, we need to slow down thinking. Meditation is the key to slow down thinking so we can watch what is going on. We have posted lot of meditation videos at selfhelpchampion. Thank you Psych2go for creating awareness about mindfulness and meditation🙏🙏❤️❤️.
Great list! Self awareness is not only understanding yourself, but it's also being able to understand how your thought patterns & actions impact your environment, the people around you, and your results in life.
Test I had to do for school: describe yourself Me: ??? Test: What are your strenghs and weaknesses Me: uhhhhh Test: How are you feeling rn? Me: hmmmmm Test: What do you think about yourself Me: confusion intensifies Test: answer. Me: idk Test: yes you do! You are you Me: Who am I again?
Yeah same here if someone suddenly asks me a question about My Self I'd be So Silent Like I Don't Who I Am Tho I'm The Person Who's Been Asked About Myself!!
me too, whenever someone asks me that question all of a sudden my brain suddenly stopped working. And I started asking myself, "who am I?". Isn't it kind of weird?
To you who finds it difficult to be self-aware, may you find that voice that says who you really are and have the courage to constantly listen to it. ❤️❤️❤️
I wasn't self aware and I lost a couple of potential long lasting relationships but this Quarantine period has helped me re-evaluate and grow to a better version of myself. Self awareness is a journey and I'm on my way. Prayers for Lebanon on this trying time xoxo
I sure needed to hear this! After decades of believing a certain truth only to be faced with undeniable evidence that I was wrong was nearly devistating. That was in 2006 and with much pain and self forgiveness and grace Ive become more grounded, loving and am able to be of service in an amazing way. My ego didn't enjoy being exposed, but exposed it was. Its a process and I will continue to live mindfully while smashing down that little narcissistic foundation I previously laid. Lol. Love or fear. Those are my choices. Know that you are loved, worthy and wonderfully created, then go out and share the good news, and if you must, use words.
Great video!! Key takeaways Emotional intelligence is describing or processing your feelings. Metacognition is a higher form of thinking that gives you the ability to be aware of how you think. Self aware is reflecting and evaluating your thoughts and Lack of self awareness may lead to unrealistic ideas of your own abilities.
thank you so much for mentioning ADHD as another factor! I suffer from ADD and it's really hard for me to stay focused on a given task, I'm usually able to notice when my mind wonders off and I can get back to work but it always takes great effort and drains me of energy very quickly
Self-Awareness is the solution to most of the problems we face in life. I think in every culture or society this skill should be taught from the beginning. It breaks my heart to see how people live their life simply as a result of their past life experiences. If you are reading this comment, you should know that there is a great life waiting for you, you simply need to know how to get there. Thank you!
This video brought so much understanding to a relationship that I was convinced there was no hope for. Thank you for making this! It might have saved this relationship.
Many of the topics in this list are also traits that, when improved, make us more 'teachable' people as well... when we become more 'aware' we become better students 💪
The common thread is the self. One of the benefits of cohesion through community is that relationships provide a mirror and source of inspiration for course correction. - your friendly neighborhood psychiatrist
Tom , the video emphasizes habits of an individual. My comment was meant to broaden the search for self improvement beyond just self reflection because we often miss things about ourselves. These mistakes can lead us to be stuck. Having a great coach or having great friendships (honest and reciprocal) can really help people become more introspective. Does that make sense? Cohesion just means a community with which you get along - analogous to a healthy family (they can laugh with you but also tell you that you have food between your teeth)!
that makes sense that self awareness and emotional intelligence go hand in hand …. this video is helpful to understand if a person struggles with self awareness … Next, how do we develop our self awareness ?
I really like these videos because a lot of people are not aware of their emotions and internal mental devices that can isolate oneself, defeat oneself before even trying, and keep a person from becoming the best person from being he or she can be. Thank you so much for these videos and I will continue to watch and share these videos to people that may need this information.
When I was young, doctor shows were popular, and I remember watching them and saying, "Didn't I have that symptom the other day?" I didn't... but now I watch your videos, and really do display some of the signs you list.
OMG YES! I instantly clicked on this. I've been needing a video like this. I struggle so much with my partner because he lacks so much self awareness and I'm trying to educate him on the importance of self awareness.
The first step to solve any problem is to understand that there is one. Once you have taken that first biggest step. You are more than halfway closer to your solution. Blessings 😌
Thank you ^^ I believe I may lack self awareness as I tend to do these things. I wanna try to be better and improve myself so I’m gonna work towards being better.
I think I’m all over the place, I am really good at empathy, analysis and the other stuff, but I can’t explain some of my actions, and I have bad time management and self control. I have never come close to thinking I lack self awareness until now.
Yeah I can be what my crush wants me to be but the thing is that if he asks me about myself when I'm tensed on how I should ask him out....he gonna get no Answer.... The Number You're Trying To Reach Is Currently Unavailable Right Now So Please Try Again Later Thank You.
I really enjoyed this because it was so nicely explained. Also, I enjoyed the the animation, which I don't aways like and of course the voiceover artist. This is my favorite kind of psych2go vides. Which includes: Kelly Soong, Amanda Silvera and Faye Miravalles. Thank you!
Thank you psych2go. You all have showed me that even though I thought I was self aware. That I am really not as self aware as I thought I was. Hearing the signs backed up by facts actually make me think and see that I have lots to work on(even though I've come a long way)
I'd say I'm self aware enough to recognize that I'm lazy and I procrastinate, that I had more than enough time to get my stuff done, but I'm too lazy to actually do it. Lol
That honestly sounds more like your listening to your inner critic rather than being self aware. Maybe try asking yourself what about the task makes you feel like you want to avoid it/ put it off
Also, the more depressed you are, the less self aware you are, so work out how to be happy and destress your life and learn what happened while you were down. Depression can be a gift when you work out what has happened to you and why.
I identify with almost every point on this list. I have been diagnosed with emotional disregulation and dysthymia. I did a 12 week DBT outpatient course which was when the dysthymia was diagnosed. For the past 2 years I have been doing weekly cognitive therapy to try overcome some of these problems.
Great video thanks. Does a good job of practicing the tool of inversion (opposites) - on the other side, here's some ideas for signs that you have high self awareness: Disclaimer - I'm attempting to think a little outside the box here: 1. The degree to which you can backtrack the source to your thoughts, emotions and actions (inclusive of motivations of course) 2. The degree to which you make value based and therefore purposeful decisions in thought, emotion and action (that's an easy one though) 3. The degree to which your reasoning about yourself is from an expanded structure. For example, is it from just your "personal identity" or is it inclusive of the influences of your social network, technology, culture, past experiences, ego function and even evolutionary biology? 4. How nuanced is your experience of self awareness, how well can you define self awareness relative to that experience, how well can you then derive a value structure based on that experience and definition and finally how well can you follow that value structure. This is different to number 2 because its specific to self awareness, as well as being about it experientially and abstractly. 5. How highly do you rate the importance of self awareness in your life and how much do your actions match your rating? If its a 10, does that mean you're always deriving new ways to become self more self aware or is there a disconnect? 6. How strong and well defined are your personal boundaries relative to your values? People with high self awareness will often have well defined strongly enforced personal boundaries and people with low self awareness will tend to have at the very least less defined personal boundaries and maybe even no proper value structure at all. 7. How well can you think about and plan for the future and how well do your actions match your plans, finally how well does said strategising match your values? 8. How well can you think about and learn from the past and how well do your actions match prior learning, finally how well does your learning about the past inform your value creation? 9. To what degree do you have control over your reward system? People with less control will often feel like what they're rewarded by as well as their experience of even punishment is out of their control versus people who have more control are able to much better regulate their responses to both reward and punishment to better serve their goals and values, as well as, reverse engineer their reward system to ensure they're motivated towards things in line with their value structure. A simple example for the latter is, let's take someone who's been rewarded from childhood to adulthood by following their religion (it's very popular in their environment) and then one day they decide they want to change these beliefs around their reward structure while staying in the same environment. This means they have to have the capacity to not only introspect to the point of personal change, but maintain social cohesion during the long term dissonance they will experience by staying in the same environment. 10. Just for fun - what's your sincere YT comment to troll YT comment ratio? 11. How well are your actions defined around self actualisation? To the extent they're not is probably to the extent a person isn't self aware, given every moment can be a new learning experience, and to the extent they are, is to the degree that person is self aware. This is very difficult to achieve though without emotional intelligence, which means this could be simultaneously used as a technique to enhance emotional intelligence by being resilient the point of all experiences where you place pressure on yourself to look at all experiences from the lens of self actualisation (inclusive of even potentially larger scopes if they're relevant). 12. How authentic are you internally and outwardly in your self expression and alignment between thoughts, emotions and actions? Low authenticity will predict low self awareness and high authenticity high self awareness.
I used to lack self awareness when I was younger but slowly I saw my faults and tried to fix them. I’m sixteen now and I think I’m more emotionally mature than my parents. I still bottle up my emotions though.
Woof, I have many of these signs. I was much worse about a year ago. Progress happens overtime! But I still see that I have a long way to go. Some of these were things I didn't even _realize_ were low self-awareness.
Here's a potentially revealing question that I would really appreciate help answering with regards to watching any of these videos: how do you trust your own mind? How do you trust your own feelings? Is it even possible to evaluate yourself objectively?
By trusting your own mind and feelings, do you mean how you know they're yours, or that they're right overall, or if you're interpreting them correctly (for example, you know you're feeling anxious and not angry, or that your thoughts are what you believe and not new questions) This sounds really interesting to think about!
Interpretation, for sure. Like, how do you parse out whether you are interpreting a situation correctly, or reacting to some trigger of unresolved trauma? How do you correctly identify the behaviors in the video within yourself without a certain baseline of self-awareness or self esteem, and how to you prevent yourself from making false attributions based on guilt or an inability to properly judge a situation outside your your own particular emotional standpoint? I'm not bringing this up as a point of academic debate, I bring this up because i ask myself these questions every time I attempt self reflection, and in moments of low mood, anxiety, I often find myself questioning whether or not I am able to make these kinds of interpretations about myself. More to the point, if there was something around which I held an unconscious or emotionally motivated bias, how could I be sure of my own ability to identify it? This is the existential terror of meta-cognition: that we can't always be aware of the things we conceal from ourselves.
In my opinion, understanding these conditions and states of mind are helpful to get a bigger picture. On other hand I think these are not tools for self assessment. These are tools for professionals to assess others, without bias. Like a doctor can heal you with a "knife"... u can't heal yourself that way... but same time he can't stay in bed for you when you have fever... different tools for different approach... the underlaying problem can be the same... thats my 2 cents
A lot of this is going to be speaking from a personal standpoint, so it won't be the same for everyone and might not be very helpful to you. I implore you, don't hit Read More if you're not ready for a textbook. Sorry I overword everything, but I'm bad at being clear if I don't. (How do you differentiate correct interpretation from trauma?) Anxiety and trauma make in-the-moment self awareness really tough, even if you recognize it and try to start thinking objectively. If you're panicking and need to get out of a situation, even if it's not objectively dangerous, you're not wrong just because it's a reaction of trauma. You might not be able to interpret everything in a panic, but you could be able learn how to prioritize what you need to know in a situation so you don't have everything contributing to the overload. My methods to realizing the difference between danger and anxiety trigger are... unorthodox. No sane person would welcome them, but they still work with the cards I'm given. (How do you identify video's points without a baseline?) Identifying the behaviors from this video without a self awareness baseline would be impossible. I guess the only way to really figure out if you know yourself would just be to check in often and see how much/what has changed. Look for patterns if things change often. Know that, from second to second, you're changing, so expect differences. I've come to realize that, when I start thinking about my dreamworld and things are going horribly wrong there, I probably didn't realize I'm upset about something. Of course, if you just had a revelation recently, that'll change you and/or your patterns. (Side note, having any level of a dreamworld is so helpful in self awareness. If you have a strong enough imagination, you can set up a situation, play it out, and then look back and think "now why did I do that?" and it won't have an impact on reality aside of taking a little time. It doesnt have to be complicated, maybe just 1 or 2 random imaginary people, or it can be a consistent story where... hypothetically, you're a king/queen and you have to think about much bigger situations that really bring out who you are, such as your approach to war, rebellion, traitors, public services and costs, ect. Makes you think a lot when you have to use your responsibility right! But it's still ok if you regret a decision because it's not reality. ...Tangent over!) (How do you prevent false attributes from guilt or emotional standpoint?) Without being able to get out of an emotional standpoint, it's a lot harder. As I said, self awareness in anxiety is really hard. You could always re-evaluate yourself at a later time, when you're more stable and can think more clearly. That's why it's important to come back an reflect often. If you recognize that you're under anxiety or stress, take what you evaluate with a grain of salt. And with guilt, the best way to know that you're giving yourself a false attribute is to first ask "how much control did I actually have over what happened?" You can figure out if you're blaming yourself for something/someone else if you imagine someone else doing what you feel guilty about. If it wasn't the imaginary person's fault, it's not yours either. And if it was, then (cliche alert) your can learn from it and possibly still make amends. (For second half) It's important to not exclusively reflect when you're anxious or upset, thr best times are when you're in a neutral mood. If you're angry or sad, you'll look too much at negative factors. If you're super happy or excited, you may not see anything wrong at all. Not just negative factors, but you won't see weaknesses either. A neutral mood is the strongest base for purely objective thinking. And to the subject of the subconscious and things you conceal from yourself... how to put this? "The more I know, the more I know that I don't know." You won't be able to know everything about yourself. There's so much that's been put into building who you are. It's hard to be ok with not knowing everything about yourself, but in the end, you'll get the clearest reflection of your subconscious if you let it surface on its own. Sometimes you'll dig up something just by passively thinking or reflecting. As a final bit, if you're still worried about whether or not you're reflecting well, try asking yourself "why." Why do I disagree with my friend's opinion? Why do I value that as much as I do? Why do I like these clothes so much? The amount of knowledge you can pick up about yourself just by asking "why" is insane. It can be as simple of an answer as "because I like it" or as complex as... another texbook of explanations. And if you dont know "why" or aren't satisfied with the answer, look at other options. Maybe you've subconsciously compared everything and just settled on what you think is best without realizing. Maybe theres something that you like or agree with more. It doesn't make your previous thoughts inherently wrong it you change your mind, they just weren't as informed.
I have trouble making healthy long term decisions, largely because I lack adequate input, I lack faith in myself, and because I often feel like I'm going to die before long anyway. But I hate being blamed for that. Its not fair.
There's probably hundreds to even thousands. I'm going to dedicate myself to thinking in both directions and more to discover as many as I can because based on number five (on my list noted just previous) its level of importance is now a 10 for me.
I'm honestly not shocked that all these behaviors are kind of how I act as well. I've been having a lot of trouble with finding who I am and some results that now I think I've gotten from lack of self awareness is my lack of empathy. I want to know how to find myself and get my empathy back, if you could make a video for that it really would be helpful!!
It's easy to me to emphatize toward literature things like novel, comics, and films to the point I'll cry but I always stoic whenever I hear people story..even when it's supposed to be heartbreaking
I think it might mean you aren't invested in (nor want to get invested in) the people telling you their story. Maybe you don't let real people get close to you, so you can't empathize. There's a fear there, maybe. You have nothing to fear, no judgments coming from figures in novels and comics, nor do they expect things from you, etc., so it's okay to let your guard down. Just my 2 cents.
I am very much self aware.i am a people pleaser.i can read moods of people.if someone is not in a happy mood around me I feel anxious and uncomfortable.i think lack of self-awareness better than this.
Too many of these are happening to me currently and I’m glad I watched this as I didn’t have that great a day. It’s funny. I’m only working 2 days a week yet I’m having too much trouble with my time management in balancing college and this in a sense is me venting so you don’t have to read this whole post. I’m just so tired and stressed out and I really don’t know how to to express it not because I don’t know how to, I’ve been to therapy since a young age, however my situation with my family lead me to believe, at least in my perspective that my opinion doesn’t matter. Where or not it’s true is unknown but it feels like my contributions or feelings are being ignored and I’ve considered going to the school therapist or whatever they call a college counselor but shrug it off last minute because I’m not the type to emotionally dump my crap out on other people and I’m afraid that I’ll be criticized or not heard. One of the reasons I stopped therapy was mainly because I was tired of paying for her to say what I wanted to hear or my mother wanted to hear and not her honest opinion about what I should do or at least give me some ideas to think about. And that’s one of the biggest reasons I dislike therapy because people only want to hear what they want to hear not the truth hence if it were the opposite people probably wouldn’t be going to therapy because they don’t want to get told off. I honestly don’t know what I was getting on about but I know I have things to work on but I’m clueless on how to go about it and I want to get a new job but lack the resolve and the confidence to follow through because I’m concerned about my mother lashing out. And yes I’m a grown man living in his parents house but although it’s not what I would prefer even an idiot knows that if the pros outweigh the cons you should take the offer but it’s not like I can move out given the circumstances even if I wanted to because I lack the funds and I have nowhere to go excluding friends because I don’t want them to be burdened with my being there. One last thing I forgot to mention is I’ve noticed that I feel more aware or my perception has increased recently and I don’t know if it’s in my head or maybe it’s a sign and i have become more aware. And by aware I mean a lot of subtle things Ike (a persons mannerisms, environmental, body language, or clarity like I have been looking through foggy glasses) if that makes any sense. If you’re still reading this congrats you get a cookie 🍪
I really don't understand how can I lack self awareness if I'm thinking about everything, including my feelings, all the time. And according to this video, there are no people who don't lack self awareness. Struggling with the management, for example, is so popular among people nowadays that it seems like not enough reasonable factor
I didn’t know about mental health until I was 17 turning 18. I’m 20 now, I knew when I was sad but that was it. I didn’t know what my feelings where or knew that they mattered, I was always told my feelings never mattered at all and I was just being an annoying kid and was immature. I was supposed to be happy all the time and if I wasn’t then I wasn’t worth anything to anyone and no one wanted to hear how I felt. It doesn’t help I’m autistic too. I’ve gotten better more recently about being more self aware and tracing back where my feelings and ptsd come from but not all the time. Sometimes I can’t explain everything I do and it sucks. I’m going to go to an inpatient hospital since my meds aren’t working and my mental health is all over the place. Things are getting harder, things that make me happy make me angry or sad now, I don’t seem to remember a lot of recent things very well, and I’ve become more and more illogical. I don’t have very much confidence in myself, and I don’t feel very certain about myself and my choices, I do know what I want in life but my depression and numbness gets in the way. I struggle more with self control now than I did before. I actually had really good self control before and over the last year it’s gotten worse. I blame myself for my mental health decline. If I saw this video two years ago I would have only agreed with one or two things but now I agree with all of it. I’ve taken such a dive in my mental state and it’s really really bad. I feel like it’s getting worse and I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I do sometimes make logical choices and other times I act on impulse and it’s affected me a lot. I’ve had some of the worst depressive episodes in my life over the last three years. And they last for so long and take forever to get out of, and each time it feels worse and worse. I’m hoping a physiatrist can help me and point me in the right direction. I’ve been so desperate to fix my broken brain and some areas I’ve greatly improved on, and the ones I had down before are now in a horrible state. I’ve tried so many things and some of them work and others don’t. I found tho that when I’m sad or feeling down or angry it helps me to talk to others about how they’re feeling and trying to come up with solutions to they’re problems. I love helping people and especially friends and family, it’s the only thing that gets my mind out of the depths of chaotic thoughts and into a light where I’m focused on helping someone I care about. I’m hoping I’ll get better with time and effort once I’ve had someone who’s a level headed thinker and deals with this kind of stuff to push me in the right path to better health.
I fit 1, 6, 8, 9 and 10. For the others I'm quite the opposite. I'm extremely critical of my own actions, and I'm extremely empathetic. My struggle with time management isn't just because of my procrastination, it's also because I have no real sense of time. I very rarely can tell how much time I've been working on something or how long something needs to get done. So I tend to have serious issues with managing time.
I feel like so much of this relates to ADHD, but in the opposite sense. I am constantly thinking even if im trying to do something I want to do. I often find it impossible to turn off my thoughts. If youve ever been really high, and you find youve missed half the movie because you were thinking about something, thats what adhd is all the time
Self awareness is something I've been learning about lately, I'm a Christian and yes, Jesus helps to calm me down when I think about Him but sometimes my feelings get the best of me and I have to do this thing where I calm down, breathe and evaluate myself realistically instead of hiding everything under a rug and pretending like its everyone else's fault 💙
Asking a person who is not self-aware to be and to identify that they're not self-aware is actually pretty funny. 😂 Your voice sounds like the lady who makes miniatures. Very calming as well.
1. You have trouble understanding your emotions
2. You shut people down when they question your beliefs
3. You make excuses for your failures
4. You find it difficult to empathise with others
5. You can’t explain the reasons for your actions
6. You suppress your emotions
7. It’s hard for you to make realistic goals
8. You lack a sense of identity
9. You have trouble keeping yourself on track
10. You struggle with time management and self control
Phew ok then i have self awareness👍
Oh ok. I have a couple things that I need to work on with that list, but thank you for making this list.💕

Maybe you can try to ask yourself what you really want, try to analyze and find the roots of your emotions, don't harshly blame yourself for anything and try to improve instead, be more mindful of what you want instead of what others want and draw your own boundaries, be more independent and not rely on other people for your own worth
Self awareness is about knowing what you really want and knowing yourself, all of you, your human nature and everything, understanding yourself can almost help you understand others since you would know more of your deep inner flaws, including the ones that you can't control and would always be there, in everyone

I feel all my emotions and then bottle them up only to overflow in the worst possible situation.

Thank you!

Ah , that beautiful calming voice.
Glad you love the voice!
Valid point!
🤔 I feel like I’m missing this..
So are you saying try to act like everybody else? Or did I miss the point here?
Tom , the video emphasizes habits of an individual. My comment was meant to broaden the search for self improvement beyond just self reflection because we often miss things about ourselves. These mistakes can lead us to be stuck. Having a great coach or having great friendships (honest and reciprocal) can really help people become more introspective. Does that make sense? Cohesion just means a community with which you get along - analogous to a healthy family (they can laugh with you but also tell you that you have food between your teeth)!

that makes sense that self awareness and emotional intelligence go hand in hand ….
this video is helpful to understand if a person struggles with self awareness …
Next, how do we develop our self awareness ?
I really like these videos because a lot of people are not aware of their emotions and internal mental devices that can isolate oneself, defeat oneself before even trying, and keep a person from becoming the best person from being he or she can be. Thank you so much for these videos and I will continue to watch and share these videos to people that may need this information.
When I was young, doctor shows were popular, and I remember watching them and saying, "Didn't I have that symptom the other day?" I didn't... but now I watch your videos, and really do display some of the signs you list.

Great video I relate to 3 of these signs. Numbers 4, 9, and 10.
Great video thanks. Does a good job of practicing the tool of inversion (opposites) - on the other side, here's some ideas for signs that you have high self awareness:
Disclaimer - I'm attempting to think a little outside the box here:
1. The degree to which you can backtrack the source to your thoughts, emotions and actions (inclusive of motivations of course)
2. The degree to which you make value based and therefore purposeful decisions in thought, emotion and action (that's an easy one though)
Despite this person basically calling me out for 6 minutes and 49 seconds, the art style in this video is very calming
Psych2Go Thanks!!
8 of them match. 🤔 its really deep.
I knew I had to work on my self awareness. Now I just have to do without wasting anymore time.
I used to lack self awareness when I was younger but slowly I saw my faults and tried to fix them. I’m sixteen now and I think I’m more emotionally mature than my parents. I still bottle up my emotions though.
Mastering yourself begins with self-awareness.
Thank you for your videos! They're so helpful and motivate me to get better life
Woof, I have many of these signs. I was much worse about a year ago. Progress happens overtime! But I still see that I have a long way to go. Some of these were things I didn't even _realize_ were low self-awareness.
Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.
Here's a potentially revealing question that I would really appreciate help answering with regards to watching any of these videos: how do you trust your own mind? How do you trust your own feelings? Is it even possible to evaluate yourself objectively?
By trusting your own mind and feelings, do you mean how you know they're yours, or that they're right overall, or if you're interpreting them correctly (for example, you know you're feeling anxious and not angry, or that your thoughts are what you believe and not new questions)
This sounds really interesting to think about!
But it's still ok if you regret a decision because it's not reality. ...Tangent over!)
(How do you prevent false attributes from guilt or emotional standpoint?) Without being able to get out of an emotional standpoint, it's a lot harder.
The music is really nice! It’s perfect for the topic and the soothing voice as well
I'm honestly not shocked that all these behaviors are kind of how I act as well. I've been having a lot of trouble with finding who I am and some results that now I think I've gotten from lack of self awareness is my lack of empathy. I want to know how to find myself and get my empathy back, if you could make a video for that it really would be helpful!!
Practice, practice, practice… Like there is no tomorrow. 😵 2 and 10 definitely.

Grievous Lolol that’s good to hear
Good lord, all 10 signs were spot on.. Looks like I really lack self awareness o_o
I might not relate to that many points... but 1, 6 and 8 hit hard
I love this channel! It always helps me understand myself better and calm down. 😌
If youve ever been really high, and you find youve missed half the movie because you were thinking about something, thats what adhd is all the time
Procrastination is not all wrong. It can help you solve problems or find a way to more quickly do the task you need to do.
you know you're self aware if you read the title and entered the video
Self awareness is something I've been learning about lately, I'm a Christian and yes, Jesus helps to calm me down when I think about Him but sometimes my feelings get the best of me and I have to do this thing where I calm down, breathe and evaluate myself realistically instead of hiding everything under a rug and pretending like its everyone else's fault 💙
