@ARDUINO SANTA CRUZ BOLIVIA: It is not quite clear what your question is but one 1 controller is running the logic/program/in operation in a redundancy system. It is the Primary Controller/PLC. The other one is just a SYNC/STANDBY/Secondary which is just standing by and doing nothing but waiting for the primary one to fail to jump in. Thank you for subscribing to my channel.
Ever encountered a situation where you set IP address and flash firmware successfully but then could not connect to download a project even when physically connected with USB or ethernet?
@Waylon Steelman: You might need to check your PC network adapter? Is it set to the same network with your PLC? Otherwise, how do you know you have successfully set the IP to the PLC? Have you ever tried to ping your PLC from your PC?
@@SYPHOANG I am sure I was communicating it the control because of the scrolling messages on the plc LED. It was scrolling the new IP and Firmware I pushed to it but when I went to download the project, upload and download stayed grayed out. Very strange since a vendor could login through our vendor net and connect
@Nicofish2023: I think you subscribed to my channel a while ago. Are you new to automation and programming? My best advice for you is to learn from whatever codes available to you and think thoroughly before starting writing a program. You need to learn how to organize a program clearly and logically in multiple sections before actually doing it. Good luck!!!
@PURGE3000: Yes, we ALWAYS have to do it because the firmware pre-installed from the manufacturer is ALWAYS very low (v2,3,etc.) while the software studio5000 now is 33. They do that to make sure it would work for everyone, especially those who still use the old software rslogix5000 v 15,16,etc. Just imagine if the firmware pre-instaled from the manufacture is the latest v33 and you only own the software v30. Then you will not be able to do anything with the controller. Thank you for subscribing to my channel.
Thank you for sharing. Nice video 👍

Tnx
3:18 i like the USB
@Nicofish2023: Of course, it's much faster and easier to configure.
Please can you teach me how you think when making your code ?

Do you have to always update firmware with new controllers ?
