Hii, So informative your video, thank you so much. I didn´t know that you can make a warm remove of the modules (includ the CPU). I gues, if i need to add an analog module, can be pluged without power off the CPU or Passing to stop mode?
Rockwell Automation offers training workstations, you will need to work with your local Rockwell authorized distributor for more information: www.rockwellautomation.com/en-us/support/workforce-development-training/workstations.html
Thank you for your reply. I contacted a distributor but he advised to contact few other integrators. May I know what was the cost for the one you displayed in your video? Thank you
Hello Brahma. I am not sure of your question and the meaning of reset mode. But I think you may mean why was the CPU key switch in the middle position, or Remote position. The remote position will allow a user to connect to the ControlLogix CPU while it is running and make changes, If it is keyed to the Run position, then you could connect to view the logic, but you would not be allowed to make any changes.
@@wawelk thanks for your warm reply...on my comment.could you clear me on this topic even if I do any configuration on software over scada without key switch keeping over run mode...why do this configuration over there please let me clear sir...
@brahmanand3332 - sorry, still not clear on your question. Are you asking about connecting to the PLC from a remote location? If so, then having the key switch in the Remote position would be suggested - this would allow you to remotely service the PLC without anyone being onsite, or over the network from another part of the facility. You could still connect to the PLC from a remote location if the key switch is in the Run position, you would not be able to make any changes to the controller - it would be view only (for troubleshooting). The Run position would be best option for security of the PLC.
Thank you
Thanks more videos please

Yes, you can add an I/O module to a running ControlLogix rack. But if the CPU's keyswitch is in the RUN position it will not allow it to be added.
@@wawelk will keep it in mind! Thanks men! and tankhs for the quick responds
Where to order and get this hardware readymade kit? Can you please share a link?
