I respect your genuine real ness how you can admit to making mistakes or clarifying why and how, it makes people remember we all make errors and sometimes small silly ones. Thanks for your amazing tutorials.
Couldn't Agree more with you guys. Christian is almost a Genius - both at Wrapping & Explaining/Teaching/ Commenting so We know what He is going be, or IS doing ! Plus, Bonus Question ! Why are you/we watching This ?! Hmm !?! 🤔☘POD☘✌
Had to use the trick you showed us in class when you have a very short piece of knifeless to pull. If I wouldn’t have had this knowledge, I would’ve had to redo so many pieces. Thanks again for sharing your skills with us!!
just wrapped my 1st trunk thanks to you Christian! It was an RC-F and it kicked my ass lol. Can't wait till my certification so i can learn first hand from the best and improve my skills
I saw a wrapped van yesterday and used the information I learned from your vids to tell if whoever wrapped it did a good job or not. The wrap was patterned with texture and I saw no stretched areas or color distortion.
Christian, so I have been watching a lot of your videos and haven't seen you use any laminate coverings which are required for some vinyls, can you please do a video on this?
@@morganchase4809 Certain wraps require it, some of the new chrome recommend it from what I have read, not sure if that's what his ceramic coating is eliminating or replacing
@@22Webstar laminates are NOT required for vinyl. They are recommended for printed vinyl to protect the ink...but not required necessarily. As for color change and chrome vinyls...again not required...but recommended to reduce scratches.
How do you go about wrapping when the car has its name embedded down the side? Like with the jeep grand cherokee it says "grand cherokee" embedded on the chrome trim. So when it's wrapped you end up with a loose part or if you cut it, silver shines through.
@@kurtussjs3952 getting the old off is fine, it's getting it to work which is difficult. It's like the name carved into the chrome trim. So you can't get any wrap into it. Or cut it neatly
@@LeonUK ohhh its embedded damn thats rough, maybe you could try some thin tape to cover it but the lines will show, hopefully ck replys with a better solution,
@@CKWraps I feel like inlays are for things a tad but larger than what I'm dealing with, I might just have to mask off the latter's and Plastidip them 1 colour and then wrap over it. Then use knife-less tape? Ohh I dunno haha
From initial wrap to outside exposure do u notice chromes appearance or colors change. Heard they tend to get lighter but may have been knock off Vvivid.
I am so glad I didn't watch this video 1st. I would never want to wrap my own car. this looks horrifically hard to work with. I don't think I will go chrome on my 1st go round that is for sure.

Hey , How would you wrap around the emblems? Do you normally remove them?

good eye.
What is the name of that solo tape that you use to cut with
Love Ceramic Pro
Knifless tape tends to move because the surface energy is too high on the top of the tape.
i love this color! what brand wrap did you use?

Heat it up, and it should peel off easily

If it has very sharp angles then you'll want to inlay that area

Lift line city every time you snap that film back like that
Sick !! 👌

Isn't going to pop up because of too much tension ?
How hard is it to wrap an 03 ford ranger
Getting the vinyl to not tear on the rust is the hard part
@@rovidbouski4022 There's only 2 spots of rust on the bottom of the driver's side cab corner an on the finderwill on th rear driver side

Hey Christian, bit of advice, you really need to wear knee pads, you may not think so now, but you will regret not using them in 20years time.
A jetta wrapped in blue chrome wow lol.

Chrome wrap is very difficult, and expensive. Quality gloss/matte is $50 a toll, CF $200, chrome $400.
