Collected my car on Wednesday in Aberdeen (140 miles away) & had a lovely comfortable drive back home to Glasgow. The car is everything I hoped it would be. Well worth the wait 👍😀

I think the best Jaguar F-Pace is the SVR (the one with the 550 horsepower 5 litre supercharged V8). Then is the 400hp PHEV.

Good review glad you did one there are lots of reviews in Europe and Australia but strangely not many from the Uk as it manufactured here .
I have ordered the same model but in black and should arrive in the next 2 weeks and been waiting for a uk review for a while now as haven’t been able to test drive one coming from a Mercedes GLC coupe .
I really think it’s a big jump in interior from the old model and is up there with the best .
I would really surprised with the lack of coverage on them too! I think it may be because of the lack of stock? I guess it's quite pointless to push a product that is hard to get hold of?

Something I found a bit funny and I've done similar things myself was at 5:40

What segment is it in.I’m looking at the gle and x5 is this in the same class or is it more of an x3 and glc size of vehicle
@@alansmith3733 the F-Pace competes with the X3 and GLC. Jaguar doesn’t offer a car that directly competes with the X5 and GLE. You’d need to go over to the Land Rover Discovery or Range Rover Sport if you want a JLR product in that segment.

I test drove this face lift back to back with a volvo xc60 at a jaguar dealer...i preferred the xc60 for comfort! It had air suspension! Made all the difference..

I've got a 2017 r sport and I have had it 4.5 years and its still great crabbing issues are a thing of the past kumo tyres sorted that out I've been looking to change my car I only keep them 3 years but I've had a look at the competition and I still love my jag ime going to have the timing chain done at 57000 fsh in the hope it lasts another 4.5 years I love it that much had mercs and bmws these in my opinion are better
I love Range Rover Velar. But after watching this video i love to buy f pace.
Both are lovely cars!

Sadly the infotainment lag is still there and even in this video when the viewer scrolled the map, the rest of the map was not loaded yet!. Comparing to premium brands that their infotainment speeds are as good as a mobile phone, Jag still needs improvement.
Great review! One question, is Jag reliable or still can't be relied upon? And I have a couple of (unasked) recommendations for you, first that when you took pains to watch in camera while driving and filming, why not 'really' look into camera than in screen (it would look better). Secondly, you did not sit at the backrow to show the legroom and comfort (which I consider imp).

Watching the video because I'm expecting delivery of a D300 HSE in a couple of weeks. It's a good professional review, well done. Potentially rather personal questions. I'm interested that you say you have been in the motor industry for five years. What were you doing before TH-cam and do you expect to be able to earn your living from TH-cam? My choice of the F Pace over X3, GLC and Audi Q5 competitors was largely because I like the way it looks, previously on the outside and now on the inside too. I think it will drive better on bumpy UK roads than the German competitors and the back seat space is among the best, which is important to me. I would have considered the P400e plug in hybrid, but it loses too much boot space for what is a rather short electric range - and it doesn't sound as good when pushed as a 6 cylinder engine.
Thank you for watching. the D300 will be great, that will have the power than this one was slightly lacking. I currently work in the trade photographing stock. Before than I had a mixed role at a prestige dealer, prior to that sales and VW and started off in social media marketing. I would like to earn a living from TH-cam eventually but will try and do it alongside a full time job for as long as possible.

The buttons and dials sound terrible to use and cleaning the smudge marks too. I guess you would get used to it but c'mon Jaguar...
seems to be an issue with any large screens, I'm finding it a big problem on the Tesla too. The dials are actually quite nice. much prefer them to being on the touch screen.

It’s mainly because I film on my own. So otherwise I would be stood there looking awkward. It would be nice if I could have someone follow me however, I definitely take that on board!

I try to like SUVs but they just look goofy and have weird proportions. Not quite a sedan, or hatch or wagon or 4x4 and a bit of all.
Does a bit of everything with lots of compromises and I sorta get why some might have use for one but I'm not sure what that is.
