Of all the reviews I’ve watched on this car, this has been undoubtedly the best one. Ordered mine 16 weeks ago, get it on Wednesday (new 71 Reg). I can’t wait (2 more sleeps). I’m like a kid waiting for Santa.

Great review I got my 2021 F Pace 3 weeks ago and been really impressed with it coming from a Mercedes GLC coupe and would definitely recommend it

I have a Land Rover Discovery SDV6 which I love for its business class cruising ride and astonishing off road capability (in Australia). But it's big around town, diffucult to park, my children now have their own cars and I don't need seven seats any more..
Land Rover cunningly lent me an F-Pace during my last service. The F-Pace is thrilling to drive. Men came up to me whenever I stopped and asked me about it. I'm torn between an F-Type and a Velar - the Velar still offers real off road capability, with air-suspension, and to be honest, air suspension offers a more comfortable ride for long distance cruising.
Any comments on Velar vs F-Pace please?
Edit: PS: Great, informative review thankyou 👍.

You can put the parcel shelf on the boot floor. Space saver or full size spare wheel are available as are remote releases for the rear seats. And they work really well. I have a P400 and it is without a doubt the best car I’ve owned in 50 years of driving. My one has usb in the back don’t know why yours didn’t.

The puncture kit is extremely useful, I had my tyre punctured, all I needed was to pump the liquid, I think it was only 10-15mins it took, I can actually drive to nearest garage. No need to jerk the car up, mess around with the tyre. I didn’t believe it worked so well until I actually had to use it.

Awaiting my delivery as a replacement for my 2018 F Pace, when looking at alternate SUVs recently not only was the the best option for us but I also got a significant discount off a factory build. Roll on November!

Edit: jaguar cancelled my original order and asked me to reorder. No 3d cameras available and asked to order a bigger engine - extra £5k. Won't be delivered until may. That's 12 months. Bought a Tesla Model 3, get it in 4 weeks.....

You are right about the puncture kit being useless. However Jaguar do offer a space saver spare wheel as an optional extra, and there is also a full size spare wheel option on the F Pace, although it's a £750.00 extra expense. I would definitely opt for the full size option having been a victim of both the puncture kit fail, and having to use a space saver on a journey from Leeds to Nottingham on the M1 in teatime rush hour. I would say space savers are outright dangerous, because you can't keep out of the way of HGVs because of the ridiculous speed restriction of 50MPH.

    Great review. Nice one!
Couple of points about some items you said were missing…
The spare wheel (full or space saver) is a configuration option.
The boot lever to fold the rear seats down is a configuration option.
Four-zone climate control (with controls in rear seat) is an option.
USB chargers in the back are an option.
The review vehicle was configured to have none of those.

The £450 service charge is for 2 years - so very good value. However - suspension isn't great over very potholy terrain. Unless this new version has altered suspension configuration. I have a 2020 F Pace and it has been totally trouble free.

Thanks for mentioning spare wheel car companies are cheap out and cutting corners

I would rather buy this as a travel nurse and place a good sleeping set up in the back instead of spending tons of money on hotel rooms. I Am very interested in this vehicle however there is a waiting time for it. God bless everyone.

You might have mentioned that the entry level petrol PHEV is also the most powerful one. 404 HP as opposed to 400 for the the 6 cylinder one.

Bit naughty with the warranty as they give the same vehicle 5 years unlimited Kilometres in Australia with 5 year break down cover thrown in, so why only 3 in the UK, are our cars built worse 🇬🇧🤬
Plus down under they can get a 5 year service pack for around $3kAUS
So you can really buy with confidence down under grrrrrr

I rejected 2 of these from brand new with a drive line vibration on both. JLR told me this was a characteristic of the vehicle so not for me.
I now drive a Range Rover Velar which is built on the same platform but is far superior to the F pace and with no drive line problems.

Ordered my V6 F-Pace only to be told they are not making V6 engines anymore and my build has been changed to the 4 cylinder engine. I’m really stressed over this and to t want a damn 4 cylinder sport SUV. Anyone have one that can convince me I should reconsider this?

I bought 2 of these brand new and rejected both of them with a drive line vibration. Jaguar told me it was a characteristic of the vehicle which was totally unacceptable. I now drive a Range Rover Velar which id a far superior vehicle to the F pace.

You are nagging about things you just don't have in your car because those things are optional, for example the spare wheel and the back seat release handles etc.
