    i hope the girl who did this video sees this. i want to say thank you. i am currently going through the worst anxiety spell. i haven’t slept in 2 days or eaten. this is the only thing helping me get through it. i genuinely wish i could hug the girl talking in this video. this is perfect for young adults struggling with anxiety. the isolated nostril breathing really helped me in so many ways. i genuinely can’t thank you enough for making this specific video.

    This lung expander/exerciser changed my life the first day I used it! It’s called the “BreatheEasy Lung Expander and Abs Exerciser”. It’s on Amazon and super affordable.
    I use it mostly for the inhale which really relaxes me and also helped my sleep improve considerably. It also comes with an informative eBook, too!
    A friend of mine also uses it and no longer needs his CPAP for sleep apnea.

      Take your left thumb and cover your left nostril and breathe through your left nostril am I the only one that realize that this was impossible? when you say cover it do you mean put it in front or do you mean literally block the air from coming in and out of your nose so that would make breathing in and out of that nostril impossible I think the wording on this was incorrect and because of that made it impossible for me to follow this video.

      You need to see an ear nose and throat doctor. What you have could be anything from inflammation which might go away with nasal sprays, to a congenital build up of tissue, which would require surgery if you wanted to have it fixed.

      Most Americans have breathing problems and may not know it. Many have deviated septums of the nose (from a childhood accident, something hitting one in the nose), which prevents proper air flow. This causes mouth breathing as a result which in itself causes many problems. Have a doctor check the septum. You might also be able to see it in a mirror, looking up the nostrils. You may see that one nostril looks smaller than the other due to the wall/dividing septum leaning/pushing into it.
      This is corrected by surgery. In the meantime, one can use nasal strips, air diffuser cleaners, go running outside and do ones best to breathe through the nose. Use steaming pots or hot baths to clear sinuses. Make sure one's home is clean and vacuumed to clear of any particulates of dust and dirt. Do a nose pressure point massage as well.

    I like starting the meditation with alternate breathing first - it made the regular breathing more powerful.
    The ocean waves were too loud but I missed the wording problem ( "close left nostril then breath through left nostril" - I probably didn't hear it because of the waves ). I just breathed through the left nostril first covering the right with my thumb, then I switched.
    Kayleigh has a very calming voice, too bad it was overpowered at times by those waves. I really think the meditation would have been much more effective with just her voice alone.

  • @aerialrose
    @aerialrose 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The wave background is too loud in comparison to the words.
    :( Beautiful and relaxing voice though...wish I could hear the words without straining.

  • @Madronaxyz
    @Madronaxyz 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    the tone of your voice is great, but you shouldn't tell people to feel their collar bones expand. Upper chest breathing increases sympathetic arousal instead of decreasing it as is needed for relaxation. Relaxation breathing to lower sympathetic tone is belly breathing with the out breath twice as long as the in breath.
