I remember watching a “Snapped” episode about her and this murder. After he was shot and back at home, she was in charge of changing his bandages from the shooting. She would purposely come in from working/planting flowers in the yard and not wash her hands. She’d then change his bandages with dirty hands in hopes he would get badly infected and it would kill him. This is just plain evil. I don’t believe she ever loved him or even cared for him. Just his money. Sad. But she’s where she should be now. Enjoyed your analysis! ❤️💜💚
She never loved anyone, she used people solely for her own purpose, whatever her purpose was at each time in her life. I can't remember which show I had first watched the story about Celeste on... but I really like hearing multiple different sources talking about a person and their crime, I really appreciate hearing your perspective and research on this because they hardly talked about her background. I use to really love watching a lot of crime shows, but I feel like a lot of the older ones like to strictly paint them as monsters... when in reality many of these people had very traumatic pasts. It doesn't excuse the terrible things they've done, but it's okay to feel empathy for them and better understanding them might help save others (both potential criminals and potential victims) in the future.
Interesting thoughts. But, equally many, many people have experience of trauma, abuse, poverty, low self esteem...etc etc etc ...but they do not go on to commit such crimes as this. She still continues to present herself as a 'victim' when the truth is everyone around her suffered in some way. I have no sympathy for her.

The mental health facility Celeste met Tracy at is called, Shoal Creek. I met my husband there, and we have been married for six years now, and have the world's coolest daughter. I can understand why people form relationships there. You e very vulnerable and meet all walks of life.
This case really makes it clear how different histrionic and borderline personality disorders are; Celeste is completely egocentric and doesn't care about others at all. People with borderline can sometimes make life miserable for others but no one can say they don't care.
Celeste is the wife, Tracy, her lover is the one that talked about killing him in the mental health facility. Idk how patient confidentiality works in that case, they were probably not obligated to tell him or report it to authorities because she was an inpatient. It did come up during the trial that Celeste expressed that hated her husband, wished him dead, and also mixed sleeping pills into his food…but I’m not sure who testified about this, and why it wasn’t mentioned to anyone before he died.
She theoretically couldn't kill him while inside (except she could). I believe now, at least, they are supposed to inform authorities about plans to harm someone. Being an inpatient shouldn't matter. The funny thing about plans is they tend to involve the future.
@@USALibertarian I think this is correct. Obviously, in such cases, mental health professionals should seek guidance. In general, when someone *plans* to do something illegal, it should be reported, while anything they have done in the past that they talk about is generally confidential. The difference between fantasizing and planning is probably an issue, though. Fantasies that patients report are usually strictly confidential.
@@tartnouveau3652 Even mental health professionals have a "duty to warn." If a patient expresses desire to kill someone, they have a duty to warn law enforcement to keep that person (and their client) safe.
@@l.w.paradis2108for sure. I'm bet there are a myriad of things said in mental hospitals. Probably a lot of people screaming "im going to k*** the president!" And staff don't report it. Just roll their eyes. In her case it seemed very specific and outside the realm of fantasy or dillusion.
Still amazes me that you need a license to drive a car, fly a plane, operate some machinery, yet nothing to prove you have the skills to have and raise kids. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ And yet, a troubled childhood still doesn’t give anyone a license to kill…
Could you do an assessment on TV host Steve Wilkos and his polygraph examiner Dan Ribacoff? My neibour killed her 3 daughters last wk. Twins sister 4yr old and 7 yr old. Both parents are doctors. They moved here to New Zealand 1wk before the mother struggles the kids while the dad was working that night. Can you do a analysis on this case. Thank you
Right. It also just doesn't make sense why people adopt children when they apparently don't like children at all. Unless they felt their lives were lacking scapegoats, because then it makes sense in a very sick sense.
And by "right" I meant to approve your statement (just noticed later that it may come across like being critical but can't edit my post). I felt so sorry for these poor kids, and Celeste is an example of some of the worst consequences of bad parenting.

I would love to hear your views on the serial killer Levi Bellfield from here in the UK. They reckon hes killed many more than he was convicted for. And the way the police managed to link 4 separate murders to him eventually was proper old school police work.
You know how sometimes you can just see crazy in someone's eyes. The very first time I saw this case on Investigative Report I saw crazy in Celeste's eyes.
Can I make a suggestion..? Would love you to analyse Larry David from Curb! His character is 20 years in now.. if you count George Costanza, it's even longer!
I feel like it's a bad sign when your case is assigned to detective mustard. Throw in inspector ketchup or detective mayo and you know your trapped in a bad joke
It's frightening how lack of nurturing during childhood can create antisocial personalities, with ZERO empathy for anyone who gets in the way of what they want. I would very much like to see Dr. Grande's take on the Erin Caffey/Charlie Wilkinson case out of Alba, Texas in 2008: Caffey was a 16-yr.-old girl who conspired with Wilkinson, her 18-yr.-old boyfriend, to murder her parents and siblings. Only her father escaped death.
To learn more about this case, I recommend She Wanted It All, by Kathryn Casey. Celeste wrote (sic) an autobiography, where she blames everyone, especially her late husband and her daughters, for her fate. Everyone except herself, that is. Don't buy it, but good for a laugh if you can find it for free.
It's always somebody else's fault. I've known 2 ex-felons in my life, and the first thing you hear from them is their "script" that you just know they have memorized and ready at hand in which they were the victim of circumstance, crazy ex wives, bad cops or attorneys, etc. They need to think that you know they are blameless.
@@banjoist123 So true! People are lacking in integrity! I've known are few x-felons too. 😳Didn't you know that everyone incarcerated is innocent?😂 Not accepting the consequences, is not limited to x-felons--nor age.! They know, you know they're lying but lie anyway! Idiots.
I was almost killed by an ex. He blames everyone for the way he is and it's ridiculous to witness. He told the police I almost missed myself as a plan with my daughter and we tried to frame him which is super ridiculous and would never happen. The only thing he can maybe blame is drugs, but that was also his choice, they were his fault, not the other way around. He even talked crap about his kids behind their backs. I'm lucky I lived and that was the thing that finally told be it's better to leave then to try to work it out. Living happily ever after as a single woman who gets to stay alive. If I go missing though, he's the one who did it.
actually my second gen ford taurus price has balooned because of that used car speculative bubble in the summer. It's also a decent car, dosen't cost 16k to replace a bumper.
It’s remarkable that so many people bought into Celeste and married her or like Tracy wanted her. Celeste looks about average in looks. Maybe. Celeste lied to them and they believe it. She was a living red flag and damaged goods yet people would still marry her.
Wow, the Celeste case was off the wall! Thanks for breaking down the mental health factors that were at play Dr. Grande, it helped to get a better understanding of what was going on. If a patient expresses desire to kill someone, they have a duty to warn law enforcement to keep that person (and their client) safe.
Loved the comment about the burning Taurus. Made me laugh out loud.
They both drove an innocent guest named Anca Pennington to attempted suicide and Ribacoff is undergoing litigation for allowing his employees at his investigative firm in New York to assault one of his surveillance subjects.
Didn't they make a television movie about this case. Sounds a lot like a movie I once saw years ago.
I think so, maybe lifetime?? She's been on crime documentaries.
I saw a lengthy in-depth documentary About this case. Celeste would clean his wound But 1st she would go outside and rub her gloves in the dirt.. It resulted in getting his wound infected and that's why he died.
“A death wish pre-nup” 😂 you kill me Dr Grande…..well hopefully not literally!
Wow, Celeste Beard really lost the parent lottery. Isn't there some kind of process to make sure people that mean don't adopt children?
Todd, I’ve gone and bought a cactus from Homebase, I’ve named it Dr Todd Grande and I keep it on the side table next to my bed. I will look after it and love it because it reminds me that you are out there somewhere just living and being beautiful. ❤️🌈
My neibour killed her 3 daughters last wk. Twins sister 4yr old and 7 yr old. Both parents are doctors. They moved here to New Zealand 1wk before the mother struggles the kids while the dad was working that night. Can you do a analysis on this case. Thank you
Lol. Hilarious prison food restaurant names!!!! Great job. Definitely a conspiracy. Dangerous giving someone sleeping pills without their knowing.
To start off with, who the hell let the people adopt Celeste and those other kids???
I just finished watching your new Patreon video, which was super interesting!
Looking forward to this one now.🙂
OMG 'Vomit without Parole'....'A burning Ford Taurus is only slightly less valuable than a non burning one'....I am still on the floor....so, so funny Dr Grande. You were on a roll with this one. Oscar winning straight face. Anyone hazard a guess how many times she married? Some cookie! Thanks Doc 😁
As always, appreciate your analyses. I've told you before that my second internship was with the chief of the forensic team in a district court in New Mexico. In my rich career I've worked sporadically in the court systems and they remain my finest memories. I appreciate your videos
Your humor is "killing" me! The prison food names!!! 😂😂😂
Please cover the case of Lady Diana
She was 32 and he was 70. He was also a millionaire. "Now, I ain't sayin' she a gold-digger..."
He could have married a woman his age.
But he didn’t want love and connection. He wanted a trophy. That’s what he got.
It goes both ways.
@@marimari894 I was just being funny. It's not that serious.
Can I make a suggestion..? Would love you to analyse Larry David from Curb! His character is 20 years in now.. if you count George Costanza, it's even longer!
Yes this is better than prison food!!
Great video Dr Grande!!!
Crazy! The person who shot the victim gets 11yrs and the planner got 40yrs? Only testimony was from a convicted felon?
I was always fascinated with this case since I watched it on 48hrs
Commentary is ON HIT in this one! Love it Dr. Grande 🎯
I love your sense of humor!
I feel like it's a bad sign when your case is assigned to detective mustard. Throw in inspector ketchup or detective mayo and you know your trapped in a bad joke
Omg I’m dyn with your sarcastic humor! ❤️❤️❤️it!
Your humor slays me every time!
1. Freeze the water
2. ???
3. Profit
Wait sorry what was step 2 again?
"Well, step 3 is profit"
Lol
I got here 30 minutes after it posted and still not even close to being the first comment. U gave us 2 posts yesterday...Thanks for the double header
Celeste, whoa girl! Raises the bar for bat shit crazy, greedy women. Love the ice reference. Looking good Dr. G.!
Celeste would have been a good fit for the ice business. Her heart was really into ice. Or vice versa.
Has Dr. Grande analyzed the Daniel Holtzclaw case? His assessment of the investigating police officers would be a valuable insight.
Always interesting.
💕 the humor.
Appreciate your analysis.
I'm okay with where the coffee cup is.
Peace 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Idiots.
Shocker
Her children all turned out to be wonderful people, in spite of their mother’s behavior.
It really screws you up when the people who are supposed to love you (parents, spouses) don't. Pretty much impossible to overcome.
actually my second gen ford taurus price has balooned because of that used car speculative bubble in the summer. It's also a decent car, dosen't cost 16k to replace a bumper.
'Trumped up beef' 😂
Martha Stewart did good job when she went to prison. She made hot fudge cake.

I Love Dr. G's videos!
Keep up the good work, Dr.
4:07.."a burning Ford Taurus is only slightly less valuable than a none burning one". Very good Dr Grande 😉.
You should do a video on the “Murdaugh” family, in Hampton, SC. It’s quite interesting.
I agree 👍. I would love to hear what Dr. Grande speculate away!! About that one!!
AGREE!! Please Dr. grande!
Gotta Love how Dr. Grande always makes jokes about Ford vehicles.🤣
It’s remarkable that so many people bought into Celeste and married her or like Tracy wanted her. Celeste looks about average in looks. Maybe. Celeste lied to them and they believe it. She was a living red flag and damaged goods yet people would still marry her.
At 6:00 a "death wish prenup" 🤔
I suspect the contract was certified by Charles Bronson! 📜🖊⚰🎺

Wow, the Celeste case was off the wall! Thanks for breaking down the mental health factors that were at play Dr. Grande, it helped to get a better understanding of what was going on. Another great analysis! I especially loved the ice and prison food puns. 😂 If you want a suggestion on a case, I'd suggest a the case of Paddy Moriarty, a man who vanished in a town of 12 people in Australia. The case includes feuding neighbours, wild animals and baked pies. Yes, you read that right. Anyway keep up the amazing work, they really do help my day to day. :)
Funnier than usual! Thanks! :)
Freeze the water. Sell the water.🤣🤣🤣 Slightly less than the car if it's not on fire.😂 Dr. Grande, you are hilarious. Love your sense of humor. Bendiciones. 🙏
Love your dialog!! And ur very insightful perspective 👍👍
