Getting ready to print my first helmet on my very first 3D printer and I am so thankful to have your video as a guide!
Good luck!
@@GalacticArmory Its all good so far. Just about ready to form the visor and paint on the 501st blue.

How did it go?
For the republic!
FOR THE REPUBLIC!!!!!!!!!!
Comander Thorns last words....
WATCH THOSE WRIST ROCKETS !
Echo was a good soldier
Can't believe this only has 350 views. What a great video!
Now look at it.
I actually bought one of these for 100$ and I have to say it is definitely worth! This thing is amazing
I am currently printing this exact model! I have been binge watching all of your videos and I gotta say, your channel is criminally underrated! You put out some great content! Keep it up man!! Also, I wish I was as lucky as you, being able to print the whole helmet in like 4 parts haha, I gotta do probably 16-18 parts for this helmet haha!! Thanks for the clear vids man, wish you the best!
What printer are you using?
@@evaleeconklin9226 Robo 3d R1+. its got a decent build plate, but it gets the job done! At this point in time, I got them all just printed and am out of glue, so I will be assembling the rest tomorrow!
Nachti I saw your comment and I did one with that many pieces, did you succceed
@@lawsonroesch101 Yep! Worked out very well actually, just a little more effort, but it turned out beautiful! You can't even see the seam lines!
Nachti that’s sick I tried with a smaller printer and it failed terribly
Beautiful my friend...I just started printing the first piece of this helmet...
My ender 3 arrives tomorrow, I cant wait to get started on this!
his sound track improved a lot
Awesome video man! I recommend using a soldering iron to hold the sides together, and use a hinge and magnets on the back side
a suggestion regarding battle scratches on the blue color.. I would suggest using pieces of masking tape.. just small pieces put on the area where you paint blue..
this needs more likes
that's so cool
Much amaze. Wow.
Would you be able to do a custom clone armor kit
Cool
could you tell me what the height scale of the helmet is as there are 2 diffrent values and yours looks spot on and not going to be a bubble head on me thanks
That print looks pretty clean and smooth. What layer height are you using for your prints on the CR-10S? 0.16 mm?
Thank you! I think it was a .2 mm actually
My phase 2 clone helmet is a casted one is there a different way I should be working on it
Good
Show de bola!!!
what type of material do you use for the filament?
Nice video btw !
Maxime R. I use PLA and thank you!
Hey do you have the measurements for the blue markings
im printing the files piece by piece how did you get your pieces grouped together like that ? id like to cut down on printing time
Do you use the hardener with the bondo? Or just the cream?
along with the magnets why not hinge it like in the movies for removing
How long did it take you to print the helmet?
I would love to see you make an Iron Man helmet
Watch those Wrist Rockets!
And this is we’re it all started.
What color blue did you use.please.
Hey, what 3D printer do you have?
I've got a CR-10s!
How long does one helmet normally take you to fully make and paint and all that?
If I really applied myself I could finish it in a day or two after it had been printed
The bois
What type of filament did you use to print the helmet
Pla
gua un artista saludos un clon APPO
Does the CR-10s pro have the space to print the whole helmet as one piece?
breezett93 I don’t believe it’s y’all enough
How long did each section of the helmet take to print?
Probably 20 hours each from the looks of it. More or less depending on layer height
+Big Baby Props How much it can cost if you go to a shop of 3d printing for print it?
I typically charge around $100 for my clone trooper helmets
Can you make my helmet next please?
sorry sir it's time for you too leave

i wanna make this so bad but im too lazy lmao good vid tho
How long did the print take for all the pieces?
About 30 hours each
Ok! Thanks!
Do you printed the helmet out of PLA or ABS?
w8rdriverz PLA!
Hey! I got a question 'bout the files themselves: Your parts are already connected, while mine are just split up into more pieces... for example: The entire head-section is split up into 6 parts, but yours is one big part. Is my version an updated one, or are you just really good in glueing stuff? ,:D And another question: which software did you use for printing? btw sry 4 my bad english, I am 14 years old and german. Also: great video. Helped me very much!!! :D
Hey! I split the files up myself instead of using the premade ones which is why they're bigger.
I used simplify 3d as my software.
I hope that helped!
thank you very much! It helped me a lot, now I can start printing :D
@@GalacticArmory What 3D printer did you use for this? Im thinking getting the Anet A8, would that be able to print models as precise as yours? Im also considering Creality 10S (currently on sale where I live for 300 euro ) and the Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2.1
Thanks for reading!
@@olliveraira6122 I've always used the CR-10 but I've heard great things about the Anet A8!
I’m gonna buy your orange helmet with the visor and turn it into a 501st trooper
Maybe get the blank helmet
Hey do you have discord? I would like to talk
How much does it cost ???
Crazy Chris 200
Oooooooooooo!
imgaine going into walmart wearing the helmet
Does it matter what printer you have
No, it might be better to have one with a bigger print size though so you don't have to do as much sanding/filling
The Big Baby alright thank you
Ps you forgot the dark blue stripes on the cheeks.
What magnets are you using?
Neodymium magnets. Super strong and super small!
@@GalacticArmory Thank you good sir.
ok so i have 2 questions. does this print in four pieces or do you have to put smaller pieces together to make the 4 pieces. 2nd question is how long does this take to print with a decent printer to a very good printer. i don’t need exact numbers just a guess. thanks.
If you put the pieces together in a software can you link me a download. This will be my first print and i don’t really trust myself to connect them in a software
How much filament did it use?
Probably a full roll and a half
Big Baby Props like 1.75kg roll?
Just a 1kg roll
Can you make a vid about making a real visor??
Your picture from TCS?
Where in gods name did you get those magnets. I’ve tried to many other magnets, they all failed, and I basically destroyed my helmet
Gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme
Loved the video but that was a bad visor
Printing Star Wars stuff is ilegal?
