Guys, Masuda is mainly repsonsible for the music and the designs of pokemon, the 2 things i adore in pokemon, could u tell me how he is the "villain" ? Genuinely curious and want to know why everyone thinks this.

I still feel people don't give Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee enough credit.
First off, it was meant to ease new players into the world of Pokemon such as those who first experienced Pokemon from Pokemon Go, hence the connectivity and such. It was also a smart idea to make them remakes of Pokemon Yellow and keep it just to the first 151 Pokemon, so that new players aren't completely overwhelmed with the amount of Pokemon that were around at the time.
Secondly, while you could tell a new player to simply play Red/Blue/Yellow on the Game Boy, those games aren't as easy to pick up and play for complete newcomers as you may think; even with the FIreRed/LeafGreen remakes on GBA. As gaming continues to grow, people will want to be able to approach franchises easier than it was back in the 90s and 2000s.

Personally, I would pick these one over Fire Red any day. The physical/special split, the updated looks and so on
Since I never played gen 1 until Lets Go, it was nice to use the original 151 for once, since I had always defaulted to the newer mons and as for the difficulty.....just like any normal pokemon game tbh. These had never been hard
Yeah, I’ve got to say I really like the visuals. I think it’s a great balance for Pokémon stylistically. Also you’re totally right about these being more accessible. With Pokémon being like over 20 years old, 2 Kanto remakes, one of each decade, seems pretty reasonable. 🤷♂️

I find it funny that people had a complaint about there being another Kanto remake when FRLG was actually older than DPP...
I don't think it's right that after all these years the duplicate the same layout of GameBoy games. I don't think Zelda makes the same hyrule everytime they go there. I think Kanto should have looked unrecognizable and more like the anime by now. Gamefreak is lazy and would sell you the same trash everytime based on stupid nostalgia and cheapness to profit even more money.
I hated these games when they first released, but I decided to play them earlier this year and I absolutely loved it. Best way to play Kanto as a Kanto hater.

@@NomadNobi we didn't needed those games we already played Kanto in Gen 1, again went to Kanto in Gen 2 after completing Johto region and then someone thought it would be a good idea to have a Kanto game again ie. FRLG for Gen 3, why was it necessary?
@@theamazingspooderman2697 for the players not born yet? Plus I have a disability that makes gen 1 and 2 unplayable and there’s no virtual release gen 3 yet so let’s go is my only kanto option (gen 4 baby, and we’re at gen 9, most people are too young)

I remember first hearing of Pokemon Let's Go I was like no no no we don't need a Pokemon Go Console game! And yet it ended up being real the only positive I have to say Pokemon Let's Go is ths only Pokemon Game with a good art style that aged pretty well.
It’s hella sad that this is the best Pokémon game in 5 years. But it’s being the only game to do following Pokémon right, and having the best graphics of them all pushes it to the edge.

Definitely didn't see Let's Go coming, heck I didn't even believe that the games would be on the Switch, at least6 not exclusively, until it was confirmed. To be honest that was mostly denial coming from a time when I couldn't afford a Switch, and thought that the 3DS was the pinnacle of handheld gaming, seeing game footage, and the release of the Switch Lite, eventually cured me of this conviction.
(Ironically, I now wish they'd made the shift to the Switch sooner, though this mostly because my 3DS is slightly broken, and I want to play the Alola games which are my personal favourites).
Man this sounded really fun to follow up until the games released, hey GatorEX do you think we'll get anymore eeveelutions?

the let's go games are still the most polished of all the pokemon games on switch. the art style just works for the pokemon franchise. sw/sh and scar/vi try to look too much like breath of the wild but the quality just isn't close, and as a result they look bland, muddy and unfinished overall.
100% agree. i think a mix of legends arceuss cell shading and lets go's style would be awesome
I think it's just bad cell-shading really. Let's GO using the old grid format probably made environments easier to make too.
Idk how people hate the let's go games and love SV lmao. The let's go games are the best pokemon games on the switch, in terms of graphics, how the game runs, pokemon/character models, originality, and so on.

Pokémon Legends Arceus and Let's Go Eevee were the Pokémon games I enjoyed the most in the past ~20 years.
I remember Let's Go getting a lot of shit when it was released, but I was so happy to see more of the formula broken. It felt like the developers were finally able to try new things while staying in a safe and known environment. They didn't need to focus on region design and could experiment with new game play mechanics.
Overworld Pokémon for example are way better than random encounters and I'm glad they carried over to the mainline games.
Gen 7 was the final good Gen of Pokemon.
I personally like Gen 9 a heck of alot more than I ever did with Gen 8 ngl but it was pretty broken asf for most other players. I never had any problems. 1 crash over something that was earned because I was messing around doing crazy circles and burn outs with Miraidon....
Gen 7 reminds me of Unova crossed over with Hoenn.

Thats why for example every single gen the new pokemon designs are "bad" while the metal ball with magnets, the hedgehog that evolves into a bigger, barely changed hedgehog and the monkey are deemed "when pokemon had good designs" or why the newest pokemon are bad for being easy despite the oldest games being just as easy as now, but more grindy and tedious

What about pokemon plus and minus?
To this day, I still do not like Let's Go, mainly for two reasons:
1. It's Kanto again
2. It has Pokémon Go mechanics, and I do not like Pokémon Go.
If anything I'd rather they remade Yellow instead of the paired versions anyway, it's kinda why I do want a Johto and Hoenn Let's Go too, maybe Sinnoh as well.

The worst Pokémon game to ever exist AND it is also the Pokémon with the best graphical fidelity.
The thoughts I had back in 2018, were I don't want this to be real, Kanto is boring, the previous games were very Kanto heavy, the Pokemon Go mechanics would be horrible and so on. It didn't made sense at all. If Pokemon Let's Go was a paid expansion to Pokemon Go that you can explore the real world like it was Kanto, that would be great, but for the first game on the Nintendo Switch? No.

Could I ask why? What makes the earlier gens "better" than the others? Story? We've had some of the best stories from SM and SV. Graphics? Again, SM was pretty good and Let's Go and PLA were nice for the eyes. That they're not 2D? Many games are not 2D anymore does that mean all recent games are bad? The designs? All pokemon designs have good and bad in them.

eh gen 6 main games were weak for single player but had stellar online and monster designs and the gen 3 remakes are almost perfect, gen 7 wasn't bad a bit handholdy but otherwise solid, gen 8 had legends arceus and gen 9 would have been amazing if gamefreak had actually finished the games before releasing instead of leaving them a broken mess but gotta obey the corporate overlords and always release the games the time a new anime season starts or new merch drops I guess
