Third time's the charm...? | Seiko Sumo SPB103

- Welcome to Addicted to Watches, today we’re doing it all over again. We’re looking at another version of a watch I really like but sold my original one of as I downsized my collection. This one is a bit more colourful that that, but the core concept is the same. It’s big, it’s chunky, it’s the Seiko SPB103, but you’ll know it as the sumo.

I own the SBDC033 Blumo now for over 5 years now. Definitely my best Seiko diver in my collection. I added the Marine Master clasp to the stock bracelet and it’s perfect and adds strength to the bracelet.
Nice. When I bought my original black 031 sumo it was between that and the blumo. The MM clasp is a great upgrade
@@addicted_to_watches thank you 👍🏻
I have it in blue with the 6R15 and no lume at the 3.. Wears great.
Is that one of the pre-prospex models without the "x" at 6?
Yes, says Automatic. Also, no cyclops and has a black date wheel.
I have the Gen1 6R15 and new Gen3 6R35 and love them both , well made solid watches .
I especially like the 6R35 's 70 hour reserve .
My Gen 3 is on a Strapcode Engineer 2 and it's a beauty that suits the watch very well .
The 70 hours really comes in handy when the watch is in a rotation with others
The watch is definitely elevated by the bracelet. I got an engineer bracelet for my King Samurai and its perfect. Cheers.
I don't think Seiko bracelets are as bad as some people say, but there are definitely some fantastic upgrades doable with some of those aftermarket ones
I think I owned this watch originally 😂
👀
Got any more for sale? 🤣
I just bought a similar design, a Seiko LX green sea moss in Spring drive titanium. Got it at half RRP in perfect condition. I love the textured green and sheer presence of the watch
My next purchase may be a silver King Turtle with engineer bracelet
A Big Seiko Fanboy
That's an awesome pickup!
Nothing wrong with that, there's a lot to like about Seiko
