- 2006-2008 Honda Pilot, Start from the bottom of the radio panel, once you pry out the bottom it will release the panel on the left, now go around the radio to pry off the silver panel, disconnect the plugs,remove 4 screws, remove the radio, transfer all hardwares to new radio, To install the reverse camera you have to remove trunk panel, make a hole under license plate and use the reverse light as power and the trigger
Do I need to connect anything besides the connectors to be able to use the steering wheel buttons?
Some can modules do not support steering wheel control . Connect with all harnesses and see if it's working. If not, you may have to add an aswc1
I’m having the same thing install on my Honda. I wish you wouldn’t have gone so fast on the back up camera part. That’s what we’re having problems with 😂

So it does with with CarPlay for iPhones ? Didn’t really show much on the apple side
Yes it works with iPhone or Android phones
How did you wire the rear camera on the reverse ligths?

Music snd bluetooth is a bit choppy sometimes what can i do
@knw do you have a premium sound system (factory)? Make sure you are getting power on blue wire, which is amplifier turn on. If you don't have the premium sound system, you may have a detective radio
Does this disable the DVD player on the car?
No,it does not support factory DVD
Can add front camera to this?

can the wire from the cam connected to the relay terminal before the reverse light or should be connected directly to the wiring of the reverse light after the relay terminal?
@@argpetz2875 you can either contact at the light or relay ,as long as it's reverse signal

I wonder how if the factory radio has a built-in amp 45 watts, please help me to understand how this unit powers up the factory sub the reason I'm asking. If you have factory subwoofer,it has an amplifier for your sub, it's not the amplifier built in the radio , your amp is at passenger kick. Amp turn on is yellow wire at the radio harness 24 pin plug pin number 17, the radio doesn't have subwoofer amp built in
mine didn't work with factory sub 😡 everything is wired up properly, you'd need an amp
@jay__ be sure to connect blue wire or blue/white wire to pin #3 on gray plug, which is black wire on the car side .
If that doesn't work, tie the white/green black/white wire to one of the rear output

What wire connects to the back of the radio for the back up camera besides the camera cable there is a little red one
@@JulioJuarez-k1k the red one on rca comming from rear camera gets power for the cam connect that wire to reverse camera power ,it should be red on cam black wire is ground it can be connected to any metal in the trunk
I wish u had someone el to record it so it would be vizualy more easy
@katherineportillo360 Yes, that's the wire you connect to reverse wire b+ you also have a red wire up by radio at the end of the rca cable that wire gets connected to reverse trigger wire.so when you reverse the red wire will send b+ to the radio so it gives you the cam image on the radio
