@@osbelyelboy2282 no you don't need to connect any additional wires if you have the canbus module, like our video,you just need to update firmware then select the car. Some modules may need to manually set the buttons like we did

I think the 12 pin is for rear seat entertainment system, the module gives you acc power and amp turn on as well as OnStar audio

@@goautosound1 i can’t even get to the settings unfortunately, the whole screen boots up then takes me to carplay and won’t let me do anything from there

@attrikate did you try reset button on the face? Look for a pin hole on the face

@@iamcraiggentry it is Metra, yes the Metra kit doesn't fit right. We had to play with the kit to make it fit flush with the dashboard

It the factory radio works then you can use Metra axdis-bw122 Or go to the amplifier in the trunk and run wires

Our radio didn't work, so we did bypass the amplifier and ran wires to the radio

@JanEdwySalvador No, it didn't have the wires. We had to put switch and relay harness

@@abelcatalan33 the anc doesn't have anything to do with Bluetooth mic. The Bluetooth mic is at the dome light housing

@C3_BMW first you need to go to car side and hit multimedia and choose aux in now. Go to carplay and play music. If you don't see aux as source, you need to connect the iPhone cable in glove box

@@goautosound1 mine has aux under need the arm rest but the hardest that came with the system doesn’t have an aux female for audio out.

@@C3_BMW tried different can settings,we didn't have the sound, after playing with can settings the reverse camera and sound came on.you need to play with the can

@@goautosound1actually the mmi is working all buttons too, the only thing is the hazard button blocks it for coming in so i can screw the screen and mount it.

@prodbyba3193 no, you should not have to run any wires. Everything is plug and play. You may have to select the car before use watch the video and follow the settings

@knw do you have a premium sound system (factory)? Make sure you are getting power on blue wire, which is amplifier turn on. If you don't have the premium sound system, you may have a detective radio

When you say it stops, power?,audio,?, what stops?

@darwintamayo Rhe spec said 4 ohms,but we ha have been doing bose speakers without any issues. The bose speakers are 2 ohms

Some can modules do not support steering wheel control . Connect with all harnesses and see if it's working. If not, you may have to add an aswc1
