Interesting fact for Christina, the Voice actor for Cable is the original Voice actor for Gambit in the old series.

Wolverine getting his ass kicked is more or less along the lines of a common trope of showing us how powerful an enemy is. In Star Trek : The Next Generation our benchmark for 'powerful warrior' is Worf. He is established as a strong warrior and good fighter, so when they introduce a bad guy they want us to know is REALLY strong, they have them beat up Worf. Same thing in the X-Men animated series with Wolverine. I like how they're not just super focused on Wolvie in this show, he IS a cool character and one of my favorites, but a lot of the media (specifically the live action) tended to focus on him as a result of how bad-ass and cool he was. This is letting them all get their time to shine.

A world-wide EMP shift of Earth's magnetic fields is wild work. Makes sense in order to keep all Sentinel tech down and out from harming mutants though. Unfortunately, that's an planetary extinction level move.

YESSSS!!!! you guys are back! I love your wife's reactions. Its fresh to see this from someones perspective when they don't know the history and are genuinely surprised by whats happening.

So absolute points or fixed points are very important in the MCU. So what they are saying that the massacre at Genosha has to happen. It is an Absolute or Fixed point on the timeline. To learn more about this concept, they do a great job of illustrating it in Season 1 of What ....If Episode 4 called What if Dr. Strange lost his heart (as opposed to his hands). It's very good tragic story.

Bastion basically psychologically tortured him with the 24/7 news reports on the TVs surrounding him, ensuring once Magneto got free (an eventuality), Mags would set off the Human/Mutant war that Bastion had planned for from the beginning and set Magneto up to be the instigator/fall guy.

All I can say is my time, reading, comic books, and watching the cartoons For next season, I have a feeling they are setting up X-Men versus the avengers Because they share the same universe, and I’m pretty sure the avengers see what going on

Magneto is omega level but the reason he was able to do that worldwide was because he specifically went into the north magnetic pole to amplify his powers to that scale

Bastian's mother was the waitress in the Original Series, where Bishop was sent back to stop Prof X's assassination.
